          BazBus with Brian
BazBus is a great way to travel comfortably and easily along the Garden Route. The "Hop-on-Hop-off" system is simple, many interesting, amazing and unforgettable places are included, communication is friendly and patient, and it's easy to connect with other travelers. My personal highlight: A special thank you to Brian, one of the drivers. I had lost my bag on the bus with all my important belongings (passport, wallet, etc.). He took care of everything for one night and even brought it back to a non-designated station! The customer service is truly excellent, and I'm very grateful for this big, big favor. I would recommend BazBus to anyone who wants to travel along the route in a pleasant and hassle-free way. I look forward to seeing you again soon!

Riding the BazBus along the Garden Route
I traveled the Garden Route to Cape Town. We had a very friendly driver Brian. During the journey, he introduced us to various sights, which made this trip even more beautiful. Above all, I felt very safe. He took care of every passenger and escorted us to the door of the hotel, we also had stops in safe places. Thanks Brian for a great day and safe driving! You are the best.

Safe, Friendly, and Sweet—My Perfect Bazbus Adventure
I had an excellent experience traveling along the Garden Route with Bazbus. On my journey towards Port Elizabeth and back to Cape Town, I had the pleasure of having Brian as my driver. He truly deserves all the praise for making the trip outstanding. I felt very safe throughout the journey, as he was professional and attentive, ensuring every passenger was safely escorted to their door. Brian was not just a great driver but also a knowledgeable guide—always friendly, approachable, and ready to help with anything needed. He even surprised me with a lollipop, which was such a thoughtful gesture since I absolutely love sweets. My experience with Bazbus was truly top-notch, and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning to travel this route. Jana (Slovenia)

Perfect way to travel, excellent service.
Great experience with Bazbus, I had a 8day pass which I used from Cape Town to PE. Very easy to use via the online hop login. As a solo traveller I felt very safe, drivers are super friendly and very helpful. Good price as well. I contacted bazbus via WhatsApp and they reply instantly and are very helpful. Would highly recommend them, exactly as described on their website.

Yes for the female solo travelers!
I traveled 14 days between capetown and PE and back with bazbus. The organization was very easy via their online portal, where you can choose pickup dates&locations once you booked your ticket. Beside the typical backpacker hostels, there is a wide range of guesthouses and hotels to choose from, too. Especially as female solo traveler I warmly recommend the bazbus. It's safe and easy and comfortable since your are picked up/ dropped of directly at the accommodation. I met mostly other solo travelers in the bus, and the drives were relaxing and quiet with refreshing breaks. Special thanks to the driver Brian, with whom I started and ended my trip. He was kind, helpful and fun all along - the perfect way to go along. Also absolutely fair prized! Would always do this again.

Economical shuttle bus that runs behind schedule
The cheapest way to travel along the coast. Pick ups get later and later in the day the further up the route you go. Ex. Cape Town is 7am while Mossel Bay is closer to 2pm. By the end of the route you are getting on board 7-9pm making it difficult as check out times are usually 10am. In my experience, (Nov 2024) bus was always running behind. No wifi on board. Not more than a handful of traveller's on board at a time so let's of space to spread out.

Great option for the Garden Route
Bazbus is a great way to explore the Garden Route. As a solo traveller, it gave me a lot of reassurance to have the kind and helpful staff members and bus drivers to turn to! They were always ready to give advice and help with planning. On the bus I had great chats. Brian is a lovely person to chat to and with our story times, bus trips flew by too fast!

Have a great experience with Bazbus
I traveled from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth during the month of September 2024 and had a great experience. The service offered by Bazbus is of great quality. The platform/website is easy to access and interact with. The girls (Waynita, Stacey, Nick, Auxie, Lumka) who work in online support are very helpful and attentive. The vans have good facilities and the drivers are great and friendly (Brian, Mzi and Simon). *** I Have Only One Complaint: I didn't like the way the driver Mr. Mwande works and how he drives the car. He drives very fast, putting passengers at risk and making the trip uncomfortable. He always calls you before the scheduled departure time saying that he will arrive early at the meeting point. There were 3 times when he arrived 2 hours early and still rushed me to put the bags in the van. In addition, he doesn't take care of the passengers' luggage.

We loved everything. Especially the people!
Everything was perfect! The people, the route, the accessibility, the responsiveness. If we had any questions, we could write the organisation via whatsapp and got an answer within 15 minutes. It was so easy to do the garden route with them. We especially want to highlight the friendliness of the drivers. They all were lovely! Brian was our longest and dearest companion on the route and his kindness was exceptional and inspiring. We also booked the peninsula tour via Cape Town and T. And Bobby were great! T's expertise was imoressive and we got a lot of insights and loved all of it! We also booked the 2 days Addo tour via Bazbus and met Freddy and Welele as our Guides who couödn't be better people and guides. We don't have enough words to describe the experiences we were able to make because of all of those people.

A comfortable and very safe way to travel along South Africa's south coast
The drivers were friendly, and the bus was comfortable. They added breaks during the trip, which was great for grabbing some food or using the restroom. The online system for selecting pickup locations and scheduling specific parts of the trail works very well. It gives you complete control over your trip, allowing you to plan effectively. One area for slight improvement is communication about the bus's arrival at pickup locations. On one occasion, the bus arrived an hour early without notifying us. If we hadn’t been at the hotel, we might have missed the bus, or the driver would have had to wait for us to return.

The tour was well organized, the stops well selected. Everything went well and smoothly. The food was simple but delicious, varied and good. The driver drove safely.
The tour guide was very well informed and provided interesting and lively information at the appropriate points. Enquiries and queries were always answered competently and absolutely friendly
The best part was the short hike from the lighthouse to the Cape of Good Hope and then down to the bus waiting for us there. Despite the strong wind and rain, she ran the course with us, which was an even more intense experience in this weather. In fair weather, everyone can ;-) ;-D ...
The tour was overall very impressive with the stops at Hout Bay and the boat trip to the sea lion rock, the penguin colony and the lunch break at the info center in the Cape of Good Hope National Park.
This tour is definitely worth its money and I can highly recommend it to everyone ... apros pos warmth: if it is stormy and rainy, it is recommended to bring change clothes to dress dry and warm after the hike to the Cape of Good Hope...
Great tour - when I'm back down I'll definitely do it again with BAZBUS!

My husband and I went on this tour during our honeymoon and had the best time with our guide, Candice and driver, Mabee, who are two of the kindest people we met during our 2 weeks in South Africa! We opted to book this tour because of the incredible reviews and jam-packed itinerary and we couldn't believe how reasonably priced the tour was as well! We considered doing a private tour and are so glad we opted for this group tour instead.

While the tour packed in a lot of stops, it didn't feel rushed. Candice gave a ton of information about Cape Town and all of the local sites, and she and Mabee offered to take plenty of pictures of everyone along the way. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable and I believe there were 8 people on the tour. We stopped mid-morning for a coffee and snack break and then stopped for lunch after seeing the Cape of Good Hope. A highlight was of course seeing the penguins on Boulder Beach, but we got a beautiful day in Cape Town and all of the sites were amazing! We can't recommend this tour and Candice and Mabee enough!

This full day tour was as advertised. Our guide, T and our driver Bobby were super cool to hang with for the day. They were knowledgeable and it's clear that they do this all time as they can anticipate and plan our next stops with ease. It was the first (and only) day of great, sunny weather in our time in Cape Town which made for perfect conditions to see penguins, and hiking the southwestern most tip of Africa. We saw wild ostriches that were actually in our way during the hike!
The drive in between stops didn't feel long and T provided a lot information and fun trivial facts in the meantime. A lite lunch is provided and it was enough to be full but not feel lethargic for the rest of the day. Definitely fueled ourselves for the hike at the end. I highly recommend this tour and this tour company if you want to visit the sites around the Cape Peninsula.

We had an absolute blast on the Cape Peninsula tour with BazBus! The tour was exceptionally well-organized, showcasing breathtaking coastline views, and exciting wildlife spotting opportunities – including seals, penguins, and some unexpected wild animals.

Our tour guide, Natalie, was outstanding. Her extensive knowledge and engaging storytelling made the experience even more enjoyable. Alongside Bobby, the skilled driver, they ensured our safety and comfort throughout the trip.

We also appreciated the eco-friendly touch – the picnic lunch was served with reusable plates and cups. Kudos to BazBus for their commitment to sustainability!

Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and hassle-free Cape Peninsula adventure!

We had a great trip with Candy, our female guide 😊 and Marbby, our driver.
We were picked up super punctually and we started our trip in a top minibus for 11 people..
We saw a lot of Cape Town and especially the surrounding area to the Cape and back. It was just great..
The only small thing to change is 'Candy needs to speak more slowly 😏...she talks quickly and without pausing...she just wants to explain a lot..., but for someone like us, who doesn't have English as their native language, it was not possible to follow in places', even though we are not that bad at English..we did say it but she quickly went back to her old speed 😏...a shame then it would have been an excellent. In any case, we can recommend the provider and would book with them again at any time 👍😊

We really enjoyed this tour. Our driver Safi was a very energetic and enthusiastic guide who told us about every site we passed, a lot about South African history and experience, and about the local animals. The viewpoint stops along the way we’re simply amazing on a clear sunny day. The boat to see the seals is nice but very bumpy. The penguin stop was great as there was barely a crowd and we could get close to the viewpoints of the penguin colony. Our next stop at the cape point park started with an incredible indoor exhibition about South African sapiens, origins of humans, and a lot about the local flora and fauna. We had a nice picnic lunch outside before heading to the cape of good hope hike, which was an incredible end to the day. The hike up to the lighthouse was magical! Recommend to go in the winter to avoid crowds, but you may get a rainy day.

Amazing tour around peninsula. The pick up/drop off is seemless. Togeda is a great guide. She's intelligent, funny, and very good at reading a crowd. You can tell she's a pro. The sights were very well picked, the best highlights of the peninsula. Bobby is a great driver. Very skilled at getting people back safely during rush hour, he's very friendly and even took his time to spot some wildlife (no spoilers)!!!

Booked before we travelled out and superb day trip to Cape Peninsula and great value(some additional costs re Boulders Beach and National Park were we were aware of) . Picked up in Camps Bay on time and from that moment on, Mike(guide) and Bobby(driver) were fantastic to everyone on board, with Mike providing regular information as we drove around and visited the various stops en route. Food was provided(breakfast and lunch). Mike was very engaging and happy to chat and talk when we stopped and walked around, as was Bobby the driver.. Mike also sent through some pictures he took during the day which arrived few days later so really was a very enjoyable and worthwhile trip. Thanks guys!!

A great day's trip to see the highlights of the Cape. Easy pick up. Having both a guide and a driver really helps, as you get a continuous commentary in the minibus: there were 7 of us with plenty of space. You get taken to all the sights, though must pay for some entries (see description). Ends with a good climb up and down the Cape Point, but the walk is easy and the views amazing. There's not enough time to see everything, but this will get you to most things in one day. Penguins, seals, and some surprise wildlife. A good mid-morning snack and great picnic lunch, home in time for supper. Brilliant!

Firstly I must say mark (guide) and Bobby (driver) were great hosts for the day! You do a stop off to see seals, penguins and cape of good hope. There may be conditions that mean you miss chapmans peak (due to road closure) or delays with entering the penguin park because of the way it’s run but that’s outside of the control of the tour. Check if your tour included park entry it will be another 600 rand plus for national park (400) plus penguins and seals a lower amount. There is a breakfast bag and Picnic lunch which was provided and the guide is very knowledgeable about the area so will explain things and tell stories along the way. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that we were told a 7.30 pick up by he office when in fact it was 45 mins later (they never told us) I had to message the office to then find out this wasn’t correct hopefully they will confirm the actual pickup time the morning of the tour in the future for others.
