It is hard to know where to begin. I suppose in the beginning. We were going to be in the area on Christmas for 3 days. Luckily, I found Dave! We started talking in early February. He helped arrange our airport pickup through airport drop off.... it is the "through" that is what was incredible!!! He picked us up and right into Kruger. Here, we began to check every animal off of our dream list! Dave was so good at keeping the timing to make sure we got the most of every minute we were there. He knows the roads and routes and the special areas more than we could have even hoped for. He arranged accommodation inside Kruger, with a front yard where animals would pass just past the gate along with an amazing Christmas dinner near the room and his wonderful family joined. They are really just lovely. He then put together a 2 hour night ride. Here we saw 2 leopards followed by 2 male lions roaring to each other about 9ft away from us. The next morning, we were up at 4am to do a morning drive where we were 5ft from a giraffe. We saw every little thing we wanted. I feel like it was part luck and ALLLLL Dave! Next, we followed with a trip to Swaziland. I didn't know what to expect. With Dave's humor and personable personality, we easily got everywhere we needed to go with ease and comfort. He really is in the best business. We saw a traditional house compound followed by singing and dancing of the Swazi. Just after, we arrived at the next nature preserve where we were greeted by zebras. He took us to that night's accommodation which was one of the same Swazi huts. That evening, dinner was arranged and worthless along with other wildlife greeted us. It was truly memorable. The following day, we visited some shops and made it back to Old Vics inn where we will rest for our flight tomorrow. Truly such a great way of visiting the area. There is NO ONE LIKE DAVE!

One of the most memorable tours of my life, close to perfection from start to finish. Dave, Bella & Dylan provided us with the most incredible six days. We felt like they had adopted us into their family and made us feel so welcome! The food was outstanding and by far the best I’ve ever had on a tour. So much variety & plenty to go round. Dietary requirements within our group were catered for well. The itinerary was jam packed which meant we achieved so much in the six days - from cycling round Soweto to safari days in Kruger! Dave has the most infectious energy, tells great stories and anecdotes (and the odd bad joke)! I cannot recommend Kruger Flexi Tours enough - you’ll be in for a treat!

Verner, who was our guide, was very kind and friendly while also being simply a wizard with respect to his knowledge about the park, animals and everything in between. He knew all the animals, all the spots, and he did his absolute best to try to show us all animals of interest: We saw 3 of the 5 Big Five animals, and 3 of the Ugly 5 too ! He was also very flexible and communicated with the whole group, in order to make sure that we are all getting the best of the experience. We cannot recommend him as a tour guide enough.

Our daytrip with Dave was an absolute thrill from start to finish. Dave's wealth of knowledge about the country's history, culture, and folklore added depth to every stop along the journey. One of the main highlights was the amazing lunch experience, where we indulged in traditional Swazi cuisine (authentic market restaurant). Despite the packed itinerary, the 12 hours with Dave flew by. We saw Swaziland's main cities and visited the main attractions (cultural village with floklore dancing, glass factory and Swazi candles). We can highly recommend this daytrip for adventrouros people running on a tight schedule and looking forward to visiting a new country within a day.

we spend three days with david, our guide in kruger park and blyde river canyon. we made lots of game drives, early in the morning , during the day and one at night also. got excelent food cooked by dave, slept in nice little houses in the park and could even relax at the swimming pool for 2 hours. the last day we went to this nice canyon and had lunch at the best pancakes place ever! it was super nice and we loved everything about it.

Dave was fantastic! 10/10 highly recommended. He picked us up from our Kruger lodge and made the day trip with us to Swaziland. The drive was safe, enjoyable and he was very well connected so we felt lke we were in good hands. He took us to a great lunch and dropped us to our hotel in Swaziland safely

Just got home from my 2nd trip with Dave at Kruger Flexi Tour. I cannot say enough just how great it was. Kruger National Park is a must see and if you want to see it, I truly believe that Dave is the guide you need. He is super knowledgeable, with a keen eye at spotting animals. They were very helpful with logistical information, helping us plan getting to and from Nelspruit. Our safari with Dave was spectacular on the wildlife front but also so much fun. He is known as Crazy Dave and his energy and excitement about taking guests into the park is infectious. He knows everyone and is well liked inside and outside the park, so you get an inside look and are welcomed into places you would not likely see otherwise. Especially on the way home on from the park with the stops at Blyde River Canyon, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Harry's and more. These stops are must sees before heading back to Nelspruit. We stayed in two different camps inside the park and each day ended with Dave doing a traditional South African Braai (BBQ) that was a delicious and perfect way to end the day and review the sights of the park. I highly recommend Kruger Flexi Tours. Thanks again Dave for everything!

Thanks a lot for a great day tour. The tour guide Dave was fantastic and had a lot of great energy, putting in a lot of work to make the tour fun, enjoyable and keeping it flexible enough for us to adjust our route through Kruger. Desastrous tour organiser. After confirming the tour, price and pick up time, they cancelled the tour at 5:10 am for a pick up time at 8:00 am. Just avoid Kruger Flexi Tour Not reliable at all

We had an amazing Safari. Our guide Bhekifa, was "over the top" wonderful. He grew up living just outside of Kruger National Park. He was extremely knowledgeable, had a positive attitude, and was very engaging. Because of his expertise and God looking down on us, we were able to sight the "big 5" plus 30+ other animals and birds in this one-day experience.

Crazy Dave provided the best info I’ve encountered in traveling and booking all our arrangements online on the other side of the world. We added the Kruger Elephant tour onto our hunting safari, as it offered both game drives in Kruger plus touring the surrounding really nice scenery in the Blyde Canyon area. We were picked up by our fantastic guide, Ciska, in a safari vehicle with vinyl sides at 5 am at our lodging in Nelspruit. We traveled the second week of June, so the morning rides were cold, but she had thick blankets for us to wrap up in. Once we entered Kruger ( first in line!) at the Malelane gate, we did a morning game drive. She stopped for bathroom and snack/lunch/coffee breaks. Ciska drove us to our cabins at Lower Sabie. She prepared our dinner using the cabin grill and kitchenette. We took a night game drive by the Kruger guide, Petros. We had another morning and evening game drive on day 2, and stayed in cabins in Skukuza. We saw soooo many different animals, and Ciska and Petros knew the names, habits, and general locations of all of them and were incredible at spotting them. Kruger animals do not see the people in safari vehicles as predators, and so just ignore them. Ciska knew all the other guides and every vehicle shared info on sightings. There were not huge crowds; we usually only encountered another vehicle every 10 min or so. We left on day 3 through the Phabeni gate, near Hazyview. We toured the many scenic sites in the Blyde Canyon area. In each, we found vendors selling more or less the same variety of African-produced necklaces, carvings, etc. We enjoyed pancakes at Harry’s in Hazyview. Driving through the rolling misty hills covered in huge eucalyptus and pine forests was beautiful. Be sure to bring limited luggage as there is limited space on the safari vehicle. In early June, plan on layers with stocking cap, sweatshirt, wind proof jacket, gloves in the mornings and short sleeves in the afternoon and light jacket for the evening game drive, as sunset is about 5:30 pm. We were driven back to our lodging. We hired Crazy Dave to be our driver on our final day to take us to Chimp Eden and then on to the Nelspruit airport. Highly recommend.
