          GOOD
The communication from 1st Zulu was excellent and Thami our driver was awesome. However we were really disappointed with Natal Lion Park. Omg I have never seen such sad, sickly looking lions! We were told that the males and females always fought when let out together so we did not know who we were going to see. We drove through the double gates and there under a tree were 4 or 5 lions all together. The ones that were sitting up looked like they could not see as their eyes looked swollen and scarred. We took some photos and literally turned round and left! That was it! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. Emma the elephant who was in the same park was a joy. As was the Tala Game Reserve. Thami would not give up on getting a good view of the elusive giraffes!

          Amazing Lesotho via Sani Pass!
Magnificent tour with Thami our guide! Going up the Sani pass is such a breathtaking taking experience! The stop at the village was so heartwarming, I still remember conversation with the young lady Agnes. I love Lesotho!

Half day tour that was the most amazing thing for me.
This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my travels, our Guide Zamani / Thami was extremely knowledgeable and an amazing guide with a story for every item on the tour. We booked the Half day tour and he was so accommodating we got to add the PheZulu cultural tour on as well. We got to see the big five and even got to listen to him sing a native Zulu song… if I’m ever back in Durban I would definitely book with 1st Zulu Safari for any other adventure I’m looking to do…. Thank you for the best experience ever Zamani… you were patient and so nice to us.

          Amazing Trip
Incredible Trip, both our guide Fortune and Sotiris who helped organise our trip were great. We were staying in a hotel well out of the way and they made every effort to accommodate us. Even with us being very unorganised. Thank You again Guys for an amazing trip.

          Highly recommend this tour!
Durban’s beautiful beaches, rich Indian heritage, and vibrant culture made for an amazing tour. The guide was exceptional—insightful and passionate about the city’s unique history.

A day of fun and diverse activities
A great way to see lions, feed elephants, reptiles, birds and many other animals and finishing off with a beautiful Zulu performance on the valley of 1000 hills.

          Good day, amazing Zulu Show!
We loved the Zulu Show and the reptile park - it was way better than even expected! Then our guide showed us a lot of durban as well which was great to also get an overview of the city! Unfortunately, we didn’t go to the Apartheid museum.

Great full day experience with some education along the way.
Very professional service with pickup at the Hotel and plenty of stops along the way. Good educational info for some sights along the way. The guide was knowledgeable and a save driver. Even gave good tips about souvenir price and when to tip the locals how much. Four stars only because of the price simply did not match the type of car used. Weak A/C was barely able to cool the front seat area but not the back. Seats were some plastic material so one was sweaty at the back all the time. One of the back doors did not open properly.

          Amazing tour.
What an amazing day, everything was perfect. The tour is a must do historically and visually. Spectacular views from the winding road that takes you through no-man’s land between the SA and Lesotho check points. The village we visited was a real eye opener to the way of life of the local people. Or Blanket people. Fortune our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, polite, helpful, caring. Overall great guy to take you on this tour.

          Absolutely brilliant
Hluhluwe Imfolozi Safari Day Tour from Durban Absolutely breathtaking experience full of surprises and great customer service! ZuluSafaris an absolutely breathtaking authentic South African wildlife experience for all! On the 02 January 2025, I went on a short safari. Sotiris Spetsiotis our incredible Safari Guide and great long time family friend, and Stavros Anthias my guest and also great family friend and lawyer, got into the spirit of experiencing the ZuluSafaris.com trips. I want to thank Sotiris Spetsiotis for a great day and we took some incredible photos. Also my great family friend Stavros Anthias had a blast as well. What a great trip to the Manyoni Private Game Reserve! The photos I took are absolutely stunning and I am very very pleased! For anyone who wishes to have the ultimate experience in South Africa on Safaris, Sotiris Spetsiotis has 40+ years experience and will provide an awesome experience for you and your family and friends. Be open minded. Nature is nature. Sometimes you get lucky sometimes not. That is Africa. However you will walk away with a smile all day. You can visit for 1 day or for a few days - they have tours that will fit your requirements!

Themi is the best tour guide
This was one of the best experiences we've ever had. Our Zulu Safaris guide, Themi, was incredibly kind, considerate and patient. Themi has a knack of being present and available to help while also giving us space to enjoy the experience privately. He is very knowledgeable and an excellent driver, expertly navigating the windy mountain pass. He also taught us some Zulu words along the way. Most importantly, he was so kind, going above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and safe. He even waited with us after our tour to ensure that our ride home arrived to pick us up. We had Themi as a guide for two tours on two different days. He made both tours exceptional and we are so grateful for that. We are hoping to book a tour with him again next year.

          The best Mini Safari
I usually prefer arranging travelling myself but it would be impossible to do all this in 8 hours on our own, and also the guide Fortune was very knowledgeable and nice. No other tour covers all these items and entrance tickets. A highlight of our Durban visit. Feeding and petting two elephants in the wild, getting as close to lions as you can in a car, all kinds of wild animals in Tala, amazing Zulu culture and dancing, crocodiles, snakes, many and well kept. All in all highest rating. Minus to Tripadvisor: even though logged in at Viator and seeing other reviews I could not write one there, had to go to Tripadvisor, which doesnt accept the same login even though is the same company

The views were amazing and the guides took really good care of as a single female traveler and on the elderly side. I would thoroughly recommend this company and their guides.

I had such a fantastic day travelling with Nduduzo Nene. This tour was the perfect mix of nature, history and inspiration. Nduduzo is kind and funny. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. I am very grateful to have had this opportunity.
