You will first meet at the tour office in the Trout Walk Centre at 9am, or you can request a complementary pickup from your hotel or accommodation. The Tour departs at 9:30am and takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach the summit, climbing a grand 2,874 meters above sea level, stopping at breath taking view sites along the Sani Pass and the two border posts: The South African Border Control and Lesotho Border Control.
Once at the Top of the Sani Pass, you will enjoy lunch at the highest Pub in Africa, The Sani Mountain Lodge. Lunch varies from R55-R150pp depending on your preference from the menu.
After lunch your experienced mountain guide will take your to a Basotho village, where you will learn about Lesotho and its people, the hardy mountainous Basotho folk. Enjoy traditional beer and homemade bread on request.
The tour will end in Underberg between 4pm and 4:30pm, depending on the amount of wildlife spotted along the way down the Sani Pass.
The Sani Pass was once a bridal path which allowed Basotho folk to transport their wool and goods to and from the Eastern Highlands of Lesotho and Kwazulu Natal. Today, it offer visitors the opportunity to experience the adventure of climbing to a height of 2,874 meters above sea level in a 4x4 vehicle.

After lunch the tour continues into a living Basotho village, where your experienced mountain guide will interest you on Lesotho and its people. Traditional beer and homemade bread offered on request.
You will wind down the Sani Pass after this cultural experience and arrive back in Underberg between 4pm - 4:30pm, depending on the wildlife spotted along the way.
