There are two type of jeep safari available in Dalyan and I advise you to choose wisely. The first is slightly more sedate and doesn’t involve getting wet, the second is an absolute blast and involves massive water fights, reverting to being kids for a day and lots of fun, but might not suit you if you don’t like getting soaked with buckets of freezing cold water! We chose the second and booked with Brilliant Tours. We quite simply had the most amazing, fun and exhilarating day ever and the memories will stay with for a very long time. The tour starts with a pick up from your accommodation and after a brief stop at the Brilliant tour’s office for the jeeps to assemble, you are issued with water squirrels (small hire charge) and head off in convoy. In no time at all you are navigating narrow roads and tracks, winding your way around Dalyan. First stop - a small stream, where you are “baptised” into what they day is all about - water and fun. After duping you all into believing there are turtles in the stream, the guides proceed to ambush you with buckets of water and the fun begins - mass water fight number one. Thoroughly soaked, you return to the jeep and the tour begins. I won’t ruin the day by giving too much away, but suffice to say there are many more water fights, many more soakings and lots of what I can only describe as coldwater “jump scares”. There’s also lots of off road driving, photo stops, a great lunch up in the hills and the day culminates with incredible views from radar point and finally a beach stop. I cannot praise this trip enough, but you MUST leave your reservations at the door, throw yourself fully into the whole experience and prepare to ever to your childhood. Absolute blast from start to finish!

Definitely one of the best highlights of our holiday. We (party of 3) had such an amazing time. We were picked up from our villa (and also dropped off at the end of the trip). We were in a jeep with another family of 4 and was super fun. The places we went and the activities we did were perfect, especially for a family with children. Be prepared to get wet! We knew this beforehand because we’ve been to a few jeep safaris before so we were prepared (would recommend a waterproof phone case). The dinner was delicious and the setting was beautiful. Also shout out to Ali, our driver, he was very funny and gave us loads of information about the places around us while we were driving. Great experience would definitely recommend.

The trip was rushed due to the boat having mechanical issues and the trip starting late. The captain was a young guy who spent the whole time on his phone, steering wirh his feet. His interaction was minimal at best. I met some lovely Turkish families on the trip who explained what was going on for me as the guide didn’t really explain anything much in English, don’t know if this was due to there only being 3 English people on the trip. I heard great things from people who had chosen different tour companies so won’t use this when I return later in the year.

A lovely way to see the Dalyan River delta and some of the key attractions around it. The captain and staff were friendly & helpful. There was a stopover at a local riverside restaurant for lunch. Good food & generous portions. Stunning scenery and great value.

Very enjoyable trip. Skip the food and enjoy the sights. Enjoying seeing turtles and the tombs look spectacular. Very helpful staff. Sift drinks not overpriced as we were led to believe

I went with my parents and we enjoyed it very much. Transport was very well organized and tour guide was amazing and very energetic. I would only suggest a little bit more time at each stop for a slower paced day in order to enjoy the different activities available, and above all, manage the visitors expectations with the sea turtles as you might not see them.

We chose the Jeep safari with Brilliant Tours and it lived up to its name. BRILLIANT. It was a full action packed day. Lots of breath taking views, beautiful meal, plenty of water fights!!!! (You will get wet... be prepared! Dont do what I did, and turn up with hair and make up all done thinking you could escape the water fights haha!) It was genuinely very fun and you feel extremely looked after by the drivers! Shout out to Unal and his crew. We appreciate you all for giving us such an amazing experience We paid £35pp and that included pick up and drop off at your hotel, 9 hour jeep safari, refreshments and a meal! Such good value! Brilliant day from start to finish,got soaking wet no sooner you got dry you got another soaking but all done in a good fun way took plenty of photos for you and kept your valuables safe and dry stopped off for lunch food very good would definitely do it again Steve and Gail newton abbot

We have been on 20+ boat trips when on holiday in Turkey and by far Pinar and Veli Tufan who own the Ayay boat were our best and favourite hosts. We had a brilliant first trip from Dalyan down the river and out to sea. We sunbathed, snorkelled and paddle boarded then had a fabulous fresh lunch with wine/beer (extra cost). The day got better and better in the fantastic weather and we partied and swam until after 20:00. Our hosts were brilliant, joined in our daft games and delayed return which was much appreciated. The boat was beautiful and cleaned to a very high standard. A few day’s later the same couple took us on a moonlight boat trip which again was fabulous including the most amazing freshly cooked food. We can’t praise this boat and beautiful couple highly enough.

This was without doubt the best day we’ve had. Unal (please forgive spelling of wrong) was fantastic. I had already heard good things about the experience but it was much more than I thought. We got absolutely soaked throughout the day. Me, my partner, 9yr old 15yr old and mother in law went and we’ve all said we would definitely do this again it was brilliant. All of us have come back on such a high tonight it’s going to be hard to top. Lunch was lovely and well needed. Word of advice take minimal stuff. When we go again we will take a swimming bag for suncream, waterproof phone case which can also put money and card in and one towel between us. Make sure you wear good footwear. We all had crocs or beach shoes apart from my partner who had flip flops which one broke at first stop - but the tour guides gave him one of theirs. Honestly it was such a brilliant day and can’t wait to come back again.

Great trip and was fun from start to finish with some stunning scenery. Prepare to get very wet and take your own water guns. Lunch was great. Beach stop included and stops at some stunning locations. Our driver Unal was excellent and kept us well informed and wet!

This was the most amazing day we had. From start to finish our driver Unal kept us updated of everything that was happening. This was for our daughter's 18th birthday and she love it. We all did. The day was fun packed with water fights and we would do this again in a heart beat. The lunch was fantastic. And as promised we got very wet throughout the day which was great as it was really hot. We had a private tour with our friends. I really enjoyed the tour; took some nice photos with the rock tombs in the background . Definitely a must do thing in Dalyan.
