      Must do in Sapa
Such an immersive and incredible experience! Was just my friend and I on the tour with a personal tour guide and driver with us for the whole day. Saw 2 incredible waterfalls (silver and love) and learnt about some of the plants and foods in the area. Went to heavens gate which has some great photo opportunities. Lunch was phenomenal too, and my personal favourite was going through the village, learning about the culture and seeing all the animals (buffalo’s, dogs, pigs, birds etc.) and learning about the cultural practices whilst seeing such incredible views! Can’t fault the tour, and can’t recommend enough.

Great host and guide. Really cool experience. Check weather for dry season
Really good host with a good English speaking tour guide. Very welcoming , made sure we had a private room to shower and rest after the home. The guide and porter cooked us amazing food throughout the 2 days. Really cool hiking experience. If you can though try to go in the dry season. On day 2 of the hike it was downpouring the entire way and we couldn't see the sunrise nor any views from the top just fog. If you're hiking for the views check the weather first.

      Trekking at Sapa
The trek was great and beautiful! We saw a side of Sapa that would not be possible if we did not do the trek. Our guide Ms Mu can converse with us in English and can explain to us the way of life of the different tribes. Lunch was great with many dishes and a beautiful backdrop of the paddy fields! Thank you!

      Amazing scenery
Amazing scenery the whole time. Stopped by two waterfalls and we were able to walk all the way up to them. In better weather we could’ve swam in the second one. It was very cloudy so heaves gate was a bit disappointing because we couldn’t see anything. Our tour guide stopped and made us lunch in the middle of the hike right next to the rice fields. Absolutely breathtaking taking views. He asked us if we wanted the easy or difficult trail. We took the difficult trail straight through the corn and rice fields. It was muddy and uneasy footing but so worth it. Be prepared for a few miles or trekking and some incredible views

      Amazing, fun
The excursion was so fun! We got to see the waterfalls and trek in the jungle. Then we got to see the villages and rice fields with breathtaking views. We had a lunch right in the middle of it and it was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed it so much.

Amazing authentic 2 days Sapa tour
This was an amazing tour and the highlight of our experience in Vietnam. Mr Tinh did a great job in organising this tour for us. Everything was perfect. He booked the night train tickets for us, arranged the pick-up at the station, breakfast in a nice hotel, clean shower and place to rest before and after the tour and booked the sleeping bus tickets for the way back. The tour and views were awesome and very authentic indeed. The homestay was also nice. Special thanks to our guide Sing who took good care of us. He’s a lovely and gentle person and tour guide and speaks good English. Highly recommend tour.

100% recommend . Excellent Correspondence with Mr Tinh from the start of the booking with clear instructions given and perfect pick up arrangements . Our tour guide Ms Mo couldn’t have been nicer helping us each step of the way . We were offered many different trekking options and along the way had beautiful views and explanations of rice growing , indigo dying etc… together with a look into differing village cultures . Our home stay hosts made us feel welcome and cooked the best spring rolls we’ve tasted so far . At the home stay we met up with our trekkers which made for an enjoyable, social evening . Not the most comfortable of nights ( quite hot , beds hard) and the cockerels made sure we didn’t oversleep ! However it made for an authentic experience . Would advise proper walking shoes with grips although Ms Mo was able to get about in her smooth soles trainees like a mountain goat . At the end of the tour we were very kindly offered hot showers and transport to the bus station for our overnight sleeper by Mr Tinh . We did the 2 day / 1 night option due to one restraints but it would have been lovely to do more . 100% recommend and although just at the start of our trip, sure this will remain a highlight . Thank you !!!

2 day / 1 night trek to Ngũ Chỉ Sơn summit
My brother and I took a 2 day/1 night trek up to the peak of Ngũ Chỉ Sơn, around 1hr drive to the start from Sa Pa. It was just the two of us, a local guide (good English) and a local porter from the base town of Ta Giang Phinh. A very good, authentic and off-the-beaten track experience - we were the only ones on the mountain! We had a comfortable place to stay near the summit (shack with blankets and pillows) and plenty of food throughout - fresh baguettes and fruit at lunch both days, hot pot for dinner and noodle soup for breakfast. The tour company also arranged onward travel to Ha Giang, allowed us to have showers and also dropped us at the bus station. Very friendly and informative throughout, highly recommended experience.

It doesn't get better than a picnic under bamboo shade in a rice field!
This tour is worth it! The wonderful Ms Mu took me to each location and explained everything from local weather, cultures, etc. The trek down the mountain on the actual farming pathway was an amazing experience! And the picnic under the bamboo shade was stunning. Ms Mu was so sweet and made this day better than I could have expected! Highly recommended!

Great day exploring Sa Pa area
We had Mr Sinh as our guide for the day. He was fantastic, really good English which was a godsend as we always have a lot of questions . We spent a truly delightful day thanks to our Mr Sinh, who cheerfully responded to all our questions and requests. The tour was very well organised.

The 3 of us hiked up Fansipan at 6am December 29th 2019. Our guides name was Chow and was very friendly, informative, kind and speaks great english. The company organized our lunch (sandwiches) which Chow put together so nicely half way up the hike and answerd any questions we had along the way. They also provided ample water. Everything was well organized and well communicated. We highly recommend their services.

I was really happy to book most of my North trip plan & reco following the advice from Sapa original trekking team. Here are the memorable services we have got from the team as below:
    1. They even helped to book my train trips from Nha Trang to Danang with local rates, else the online rates were very similar to any flight prices actually!
    2. We did the Hanoi bay 1 night cruise with them. Though there was a last minute change in boat vs the plan - but we didn't hv any complain as we were the only guests in the 5 cabin cruise & the guide there was very helpful & supportive indeed.
    3. Then the overnight bus service from Hanoi - Sapa was good. They made sure I get the right bus & always very proactive on the coordination required
    4. The authentic village tour was a great start in Sapa. The guide was so simple & caring. We loved our day.
    5. The next day the guide also took us for Fansipan hiking & we just loved that we could do it with him & used the cable car on back and the team was very flexible to accommodate our required adjustments
    6. Even they drove us to train return from Sapa to Hanoi. We were very happy to take Chapa express as reco by them. Great train journey experience indeed
All in all - the level of coordination & support starting from planning till the trip was just super & will be highly recommended by us for any friends visiting North of Vietnam..

If you are interested to hike Fansipan, please consider Sapa Original Trek! Mr Tinh was very helpful in answering my queries about Fansipan and anything related to Sapa!

The hike was tiring but wonderful, with splendid views and great temperature. Please only choose the one day trek if you are in decent physical condition and exercise somewhat regularly. If you are really really tired at the peak, you have the option of taking the cable car down, but the cost will be borne by you.

If you walk the streets of Sa Pa looking for a company to arrange a guide for your trek, you’ll just be overwhelmed with options that all seem the same. Looking online will be the same. So save the time and energy and let Mr Tinh at Sapa Original Trek set you up. We wanted to do Fansipan in one day. Tinh was professional, clear in communication and always fast to reply. He set us up with Chay who met us at our hotel, had plenty of experience on Fansipan, and didn’t mind one bit that he could have gone up and down in the time it took us just to go up. We’d dreamed of conquering Fansipan for quite a while now and had an amazing time doing it. Thank you!

If you’re going to hike to the Fansipan peak, you must book with this organization. They’re wonderful.

Mr. Tinh helped me plan my trip from Hanoi to Sapa via train, choose the best hike for my husband and I (2days versus 1day) and organized my bus to Ninh Binh after. He’s great and goes beyond to assist the customers.

Our sherpa was Minh and he’s also wonderful. He’s great at hiking and carried my backpack up the mountain because I was still jet lagged (I’m so grateful for him).

Mr. Tinh and Minh speak English fluently and will do whatever they can to help you.

We did a 1 day trek up to the Fansipan summit and got the cable car back down and it was absolutely epic!! We couldn’t believe how much fun this trek was, it was definitely one of the hardest things we have ever done but so worth it and you even get an official medal from the national park to top it off. Our guide Chay was really lovely, knowledgable about the mountain, let us walk at our own pace and provided us a good sized lunch. Shout out too to Mr Tinh who was quick to communicate with us upon booking and checked in with us afterwards that we were happy with our experience.

Note for those wondering if they can do this trek: Me and my boyfriend are not unhealthy but we’re also not regular hikers and I can’t remember the last time we went to the gym. We found this trek really challenging but still absolutely doable with plenty of breaks and going at our own pace. At the start I let our guide know that we were planning on getting the cable car back down and that we would prefer to go slow and steady and he completely changed the pace of the hike for us which was perfect. We didn’t have any special hiking gear for this either. We went on quite a bright sunny day so just had layers of a T-shirt, hoodie and rain mac we could take off (which mostly stayed off while walking) and I even managed this in my adidas superstars. If it had been a wet day I would suggest having better shoes but if it’s dry and your shoes are comfy I’m sure you’ll be fine, besides, our guide was basically wearing crocs!

The whole trip was lots of fun and well organized. I did the one day trip to Fansipan and went back down with the cable car. Sinh, the tour guide was the coolest guide and he had lots of information about culture, nature and landscape which made the hike very intersting and I almost forgot about the actual strenous hike. The pickup at the morning and after the hike worked perfectly well and the driver was punctual. All in all an experience I would definitley recommend!

I'm a 30 year old Singaporean who exercises 1-2 times a week, and this one day hike pushed me to the limit haha. It was a really great climb though, and our guide was really helpful, letting us know which stones are less slippery to step on, even getting me bamboo walking sticks after I cramped up. We took the cable car down after a 7 hour hike (exc. lunch break).

    Well worth it!

Local law states that in order to climb the highest mountain of Indochina, you need to have a guide. We opted for Sapa original tours to provide one and it was a very good choice. They were very responsive, the guide was very experienced (not that the hike would require one, but still), and we were happy to have a shower at the agency's place before continueing back to Hanoi. The prices on their homepage are good compared to others that we saw. All in all, highly recommended if you want to do Fansipan.

We had a great hiking trip with Mr. Sinh and the weather was perfect. The tempo was perfect and we arrived the top after 5½ hours including break and lunch. The food he brought for us was delicious. After the hike to the Peak I decided to take the cable car. Mr. Tinh picked me up at the cable car Station and drove me to our hotel. My husband walked the way back together with Mr. Sinh in three hours.
    We totally recommend this Tour.
