Stop At: Universidad de Costa Rica, San Pedro Montes de Oca, San Jose 20603 Costa Rica

We will visit the Campus of the University of Costa Rica, which holds some of the largest patches of forest in the San José Metro Area.

On our first stop, we will look for resident and migratory birds, lots of incredible insects and amazing flowers.

Then, we will see the largest indigenous stone sphere (which is world heritage) in San José.

Lastly, we'll visit the main campus where the sloths live freely and hopefully find some tasty berries.

On weekdays we will also visit the scientific research butterfly garden with more than 25 different species and you will get to know the people working with them.

Hi Don! Thank you for such a detailed review! It was a pleasure having your family on a tour with us, JP was very happy and satisfied with the tour, especially about the sighting of the baby sloth which is great news for that population! Thank you again for supporting our small but passionate project. Hope to see you again in the future!

Most of the guides are students or former students of university Costa Rica . I actually went on 5 trips. One was to the rainforest and was very professionally done. I also had a trip inside of the premises of the university of Costa Rica during a heavy downpour which was

Thanks for the review and the feedback, we will be more cautious in the future to assign expereinced birders guides to people who is mostly into birdwatching like yourself. We do have some guides who's area of skill and research is ornythology, however, Costa Rica being so biodiverse and rich in so many taxa, we try to include as many poeple from different areas as we can. Thank you for your trust in this little travel company, hopefully we will fulfill gaps like that in the future to offer the best experiences possible in our country. About the list, I'm sorry the guide didn't share that with you, we will have a workshop on those issues in the near future. If there's something we can do about it, please let us know.
