After pickup in San Jose, your day trip starts with the drive to Rainforest Adventures Costa Rica Atlantic, where you'll meet a naturalist guide to learn about Costa Rica's famously diverse landscape and abundance of animals and plants.
Take a walk on nature trails for an up-close look at the forest, with time to take photos and look for wildlife. Then hop on the aerial tram for a tour that travels 1.6 miles (2.6 km) across the treetops at a leisurely pace, allowing you to take in bird's-eye views. These open-air gondolas with awnings seat up to six passengers plus your guide.
The fun continues with a zipline tour through rainforest canopy, during which you'll cross the Molinete River and admire the lush environment. The course includes 10 ziplines and 14 platforms, taking you from ground level, over an island, to the base of a ridge, an along tostado and caobilla trees.
Your heart will really get pumping as you head to the Adrena-Line, the 2,297-foot (700-meter) Superman cable that ends the zipline course. You'll fly up to 34 mph (55 kph) at a height of 197 feet (60 meters). The activities at the park finish with the butterfly and frog garden.
When your time at the park is up, you'll be returned to your pickup location in San Jose.
