Paddle your way along the river and through mangroves on this guided kayak tour from the Damas Estuary with lunch included. Set off down the tranquil Damas Mangrove Canal and learn about wildlife and plants that call this place home. Look out for monkeys and tropical birds and watch as the foliage attracts them with colours of red, yellow, and black.
What to Expect

Your tour starts with a pick up at your hotel. Damas Island Estuary is located 10 minutes from Manuel Antonio and Quepos, a  floating restaurant nested in the tranquil water of the Damas estuary serves as port. There you will have time to choose the lunch or diner plate, after that you will be sit in the boat, and enjoy some beverages.

The experienced bilingual guides will share the beauty and natural history of the Damas mangrove canals. Once you are on board the surprises and the animals will appear everywhere.

The varieties of mangrove  will change dramatically the scene, red, black and yellow, each of them provides different attractions to the wildlife. At the end of the tour  lunch or dinner will served.

Note: there are two Cambute tours, one feeds monkeys and one does not! It is illegal to feed the monkeys in Costa Rica and although we were on the tour which does not, the monkeys still come down to the boat looking for food and...More

Pleasant excursion

Nice relaxing boat tour with plenty of photo opportunities and interesting information from our guide. We saw iguanas, monkeys, birds, bats and scenery. Only strange thing with this tour is the lunch/breakfast they serve at 10:30 when you get back to base... wrong time for...More
