This was a great day. We took tons of great pictures of all types of wildlife and plants. The coffee was amazing and lunch was perfect. Our guide was Ernesto and he was the best!

Gabriel was the best tour guide ever!!! We had him for your horseback riding/ tubing/ zip lining/ hot springs and then we asked for him again!!

Our grandchildren, ages 8, 9, 10, & 11, loved seeing a host of birds, monkeys, and crocs. So fun! Lunch and refreshments were great, too, in a beautiful and interesting river retreat. Wonderful guides and drivers.

Punctual and knowledgeable, Gabriel was a good driver and a wonderful guide. He showed us so many animals and local stops for reasonably priced souvenirs.

This was an amazing experience. Guillermo was a fantastic guide. We really enjoyed talking to him and learned so much about Costa Rica from him. And the 4 in 1 experience was unforgettable. The tubing was exhilarating yet relaxing, the ziplining was unmatched, and there could have been no better way to unwind than by unwinding in the hot springs at the end

We were blown away by our trip to the river. Memo, our AMAZING Driver and guide took us to see locals diving for buckets of mineral rich soils that were hauled by gorgeous oxen. We were offered fresh cantaloupe by a fellow on the way and Memo drove us through his small village on the way to Palo Verde. We learned SO MUCH. Once at the very “ Green” River we were helped onto a comfortable covered boat with Manuel as our Captain and Andres as our “ Naturalist’s guide” We saw amazing birds, lizards, crocodiles and bats native to the region. We were told by Memo that nature has no guarantees but I can assure that the river ride was green and fresh and simply beautiful A high point was seeing 3 of the 4 species of monkeys in Costa Rica. This was “ highly unusual” according to all guides but Manuel was truly an “ animal whisperer” so howler, spider and capuchin monkeys all came to hang out! The capuchins ( like Marcel from Friends) were inches away as Manuel chatted to the wee creatures with adorable porcelain looking faces. Great photo ops for sure Lunch at a family owned restaurant offered a chance to see Maria make tortillas over a wood fire. Delicious juice from the area was cold and plentiful with tortilla, rice, beans, fire barbecued chicken and a salad made from another local fruit was all sensational and plentiful served “ family style”. Dragonfruit and coconut ice cream finished off the meal. SO TASTY! Clean bathrooms and great coffee at this spot too. All included. There were some lovely unique souvenirs at very reasonable prices tucked away in a corner for our interest but no pressure to buy A local potter was teaching us his craft and small pieces were available but again NO PRESSURE Memo made sure our very comfy, high quality van was cool and he told us several times that he was there at our service and we should be worry free! We thank Kevin for booking this trip and we could not get over the personalized, quick and kind service provided We have requested Memo for another tour tomorrow. Once again Kevin has planned an itinerary that is personal and thoughtful. We can’t wait to see Memo again. Tour guides were incredible. Very friendly and accommodating. Tour itself was very much worth it. Saw all kinds of wildlife. Ate delicious food. Got to spend time in the jungle. It was great 👍.

I enjoyed watching the wild Animals,like birds,monkeys and especially the crocodiles,I’m glad I booked this tour,we have fun.and the foods was good.

I thought I'd done a review, but apparently not. This was an excellent way to experience the countryside, the flora, the fauna. The two main residents I wanted to see were red dart frogs and sloths. Saw plenty of both. It was an amazing day. Our driver and tour guides were very knowledgeable. Spending the day outdoors, looking upwards in the trees for the camouflaged sloths was a fun game. We went to two different areas- one was established for sloth viewing and second one was just starting out with banana trees. At the second one we saw a mama and baby, a lone male, and a young one about 6 months old climbing thru the banana leaves. My heart was full.

What an absolutely fantastic experience. Our driver/guide was professional, timeliness was on point and we got to see SLOTHS!!! The nature tour was incredible, saw so many beautiful animals. The lunch was great, and suitable for a celiac friend we had with us! The swim was an unexpected highlight and all the things we did felt private and not swamped with tourists. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Costour provided a seamless and efficient experience to complete a border run. From the quick response to my inquiry about scheduling, to the flexible pick-up locations in and around Coco, the entire trip was a breeze. Their professional driver guided every step in the process of paying the exit taxes, navigating the Nicaraguan customs entry and exit process, and re-entering Costa Rica. I will always use Costour for this excursion.

Great tour guides who went out of their way to make the day extremely enjoyable! The waterfall and the springs were wonderful and the walking to and from was easy and in lovely foresty areas.

A Border Run with no Pain! My Costa Rican visa was about to expire on November 7, 2023, so I decided to participate in a border run organized and led by Costour on November 6. I very much appreciated the assistance we continuously got from the driver of their maxi-van during the run. He very well deserves our congratulations for his excellent service. I definitely intend to use the Costour service again the next time that I need to participate in a border run. Despite the fact that the Costa Rican/Nicaraguan border was closed for an hour due to a prisoner exchange once we got there, it was truly a run without pain.

Costours was absolutely amazing! The 4-in-1 adventure package was such a wonderful experience. It’s truly the do it all package. Our guide, Memo, was so accommodating, fun, and knowledgeable. The horseback riding, zip lining, and the tubing at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin was fantastic. The horses were super well trained, the tubing and zip lining was facilitated by an excellent team to ensure your safety. The tour ended with the hot springs which was the perfect ending to the day. We also used Costours for our airport transportation and they’re always on time, prompt and extremely friendly. Highly recommend the Costours team! Pura Vida!

The driver was knowledgeable and personable. The hike was an easy stroll, the guide there was very good at his job and very knowledgeable about the ecosystem. Swimming in the river while it rained was amazing! Lunch was delicious! Pura Vida!
