Overview
With long gaps between metro stops and a bus system that can be confusing to non-Chinese speakers, it takes time to travel between Shanghai’s attractions on your own. Take the pain out of transportation with a hop-on hop-off bus tour that also includes access to selected attractions: choose between five different packages, all perfect for first-time visitors. Jump off at the stops that interest you most and explore at your own pace.
Highlights
  • Travel easily through Shanghai in an open-top, double-decker bus
  • Choose between a 24- or 48-hour ticket
  • Relax as you see the sights with audio commentary in eight languages
  • Hop on and off that sights that interest you most
  • Optional extras include a river cruise and the Shanghai Towe
What to Expect
Choose one of three routes: the Temple Tour, the Pudong Tour, or the Shanghai City Tour. As you travel, enjoy wraparound views from the open-top deck, and helpful audio commentary available in eight languages. Hop off to explore at any time, then reboard a new bus when you’re ready to continue. Your itinerary can include highlights like People’s Square, the Bund, and Shanghai museum. You’ll also need to choose from one of five packages, which offer either a 24- or 48-hour bus ticket, plus special activities like visits to the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, a cruise on the Red River, or a stop at the observation deck at Shanghai Tower, China’s tallest building.

This was a great way for us to become a little familiar in Shanghai as it was our first day here. We got on at Nanjing Pedestrian Mall and did the red circuit. Our first exit from the bus was at Yu Garden, for a quick look around, and back on the bus again. We got off a couple

- The tickets were easy to buy at the stop in Pushing, Shanghai. If you want to buy them but aren't at the correct stop, you can get on the bus, and go to an assigned ticket booth stop. - We purchased the two day tickets to access all the lines, the Shanghai Tower (bear in mind

Firstly, Nobody manning the stations spoke any English. Secondly, the maps were also only in mandarin. Thirdly, the audio commentaries did not work, there was only music. And I checked this with many seats. Nothing worked. Fourthly, the bus kept going around in circles. And it

This review is for the City Sightseeing Hop-on, Hop off tour. Unfortunately the other negative reviews proved to be correct. The company's interest in its patrons ends when you buy a ticket. The price of the tickets varies depending on who is selling them ( I think the sales
