In the morning, your tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and then you will first visit the Bund. Take a stroll at the historic riverfront. It is bound to be a wonderful experience. During your walking, the Former HSBC building, a six-floor neo-classical building in the Bund area, and the Historic Peace Hotel, an Art Deco masterpiece built by Jewish financier Victor Sassoon, will appear in front of you.
Later, you will visit the Huoshan Park, thousands of Jews who escaped Europe settled here. After that, you will pay a visit to the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum. Then, you will have your lunch break (at your own cost), and your guide can make some recommendations for you where to eat.
In the afternoon, stop by the Shanghai Municipal Children’s Palace, a mansion built by a Jewish family from Baghdad. Then check out the Moller Villa Hotel, which was built by Jewish shipping magnate Eric Moller in 1936. At last, come to visit the Ruijin Hotel, which possesses unique architectural beauty.
