2 travellers
On our multi-theme & off-the-beaten-path bicycle experience, your Expat Tour leader will escort you for an interactive and fun way to enjoy Shanghai "like a local". Food, Architecture, History, Traditions, Religion...you will get everything in just a 1/2 day!
  • A fun-filled bicycle ride through Old Shanghai
  • Get off the tourist track at traditional markets and parklands
  • Capped at eight participants for personalized attention
What to Expect
Shanghai is known for its towering skyscrapers and sleek, futuristic waterfront, but the Old Town still boasts traditional quarters from its heyday as a 1920s port city. During this adventure-filled sightseeing tour of Old Shanghai’s under-the-radar neighborhoods, hop a classic bicycle to cruise between sights. Perfect for travelers who have already ticked off the top sights, or anyone looking to wander off the beaten track, this fun and leisurely bicycle excursion begins along the French Concession’s tree-lined boulevards with a pastry breakfast. Then, mingle with locals in Fuxing Park and get a peek into hidden villas, which most tourists overlook. Hop off your bike to wander through a Buddhist temple and browse through the produce stalls of a traditional open-air wet market. Discover a different side of the fast-paced city with a bike ride down Old Town’s narrow lanes and back alleys, where time appears to be frozen in place.

The best in town. Smiling, knowledgeable and generous. Went through former French concession and old city. Went to places very few guides could make you discover. Fabulous Fab!

I'm sorry for the late response. I did not see any young kids on the tour but I was also on a business trip with a group of 30 so we took up the whole group.

Should be. You need to ask the organisers if they have the equipment you need. Have fun.
