      Ask for Pranshu. Excellent Tour.
Pranshu, our tour guide, was excellent. A very informative and friendly tour guide. Directing us expertly and safely through the streets of Jaipur. Introducing us to a side of Jaipur that we as westerners would never have experienced. He is a devout Hindu and he explained his religion and beliefs, visiting temples and the backstreets of Jaipur. Thank you very much Pranshu.🙏🏻

      Jaipur’s best kept secret
Starting with a walk round the local market with our host Sonal we chose with the guidance of our host a selection of vegetables for our host to then cook with the assistance of the two of us . We then returned to the family were welcomed by her multi generational family into their home like long lost relatives! After a home brew of masala tea and a few nibbles we then rolled up our sleeves and assisted where required and listened attentively to the what the all the ingredients were and how all the various spices and herbs were the magic that made all the dishes that we were soon to devour so delicious. When all was ready we sat with Sonal and some of her family at the dining table and experienced wonderful food and great hospitality. All in all we had the most memorable experience and one that we will endure for years to come … Thank you 🙏

      Fabulous Udaipur walking tour
We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour in Udaipur organized by Virasat experiences. Our guide, Dr. Nistha Jain, was extremely engaging and showed us corners of Udaipur we would not have discovered on our own. As a native of Udaipur, she knows the city extremely well, and gave us many insights into local customs as we meandered our way through many different markets and small back streets. We did several tours in India over more than 3 weeks and this was one of the very best. Ask for Dr Jain. She is great.

      A local’s view of Jaipur
Pranshu led a great walking tour of old Jaipur with our group of friends. He provided a local insight into life, customs and religion and was always aware of our needs and safety. The street food was great!

The Havelis and Temples of Jaipur
MD was our guide. He was knowledgeable, personable and very, very interesting. The traffic, the cows and the debris in the streets, made our journey a little bit precarious at times, but MD navigated it all, kept us safe and enabled us to see and experience things that we could not have done otherwise.

Mr. Rocky Singh was a very helpful knowledgeable guide. He took us to many incredible sights and provided us with my views to take photos. We enjoyed learning about Jodhpur and its rich history. Rocky is a fantastic guide and is a must for discovering Jodhpur.

      Jodhpur's best walking tour.
We had an absolutely amazing tour. Our guide was Rakesh "Rocky" Singh. He knows every square inch of Jodhpur. Everyone seems to know him. I swear we got special treatment for being with him. Unforgettable.

      Discover Jaipur through its architecture
We went on the Architectural Walking Tour of Jaipur. Our guide Archit was exceptional, exploring the history of this fascinating city through its architecture and taking us into old buildings, hidden courtyards even up on the roof - areas we would never have discovered on our own. Archit is himself an architect, working with UNESCO to restore some of the historic buildings of Jaipur. We learnt a lot but also had fun along the way. Highly recommended

Great tours of Jaipur with Madhav!
Our group of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our time in Jaipur with our guide Madhav. We started with the Temple & Haveli walking tour, and finished with an e-rickshaw tour to craft areas of Jaipur. Very interesting - I highly recommend both tours if you want to explore Jaipur beyond the typical tourist trail. Madhav was informative, entertaining and helped us understand daily life in Jaipur. He also took us to a great place for chai and samosas!

Deep local knowledge and patience, great tour
We took the Brahmins and Blue City tour in Jodhpur. Our guide was Surender Singh Sodha. He is an exceptionally kind and deeply knowledgeable person who made our visit truly enjoyable. I can’t say enough about his sensitivity to the local context and his patience towards a hobby photographer like myself. I will definitely reach out to virasat tours and ask for him again if i come back to jodhpur.

      Great experience in Jodhpur
We had a wonderful time having dinner in the Jodhpur home of Praveen and Punam. They were great companions and we got an impromptu lesson in some of the social mores of Rajasthan (did you know a woman adjusts the length of a her veil based on her relationship to the person she is with?). To top it off we had perhaps the best meals we have had in Rajasthan. Highly recommend!

Praniti took us on a walking tour of the bazaars in Jaipur in the late afternoon on January 17th. We tasted some street food which was carefully selected by Praniti. We really enjoyed the experience. Praniti was full of information about Jaipur and life in India. She even negotiated us across the roads several times which were absolutely packed with cars, motorbikes and tuktuks She is a lovely girl and great fun. I would highly recommend this tour.

Madhav Shekhawat was a knowledgeable and experienced guide who provided an experience we will always remember. His first hand insights into the culture of the area and the history of the city's development gave us a peak into life in Rajasthan. We cannot thank him enough for the wonderful time we had exploring with him.

Anshu was our guide for this tour and she was amazing. We were literally straight off the plane and had wanted something to bridge the time between arrival and bed time and this was the perfect thing. We got a really good taste of the old city with wandering the bazaar and tasting wonderful pakoras and kulfi. We had time to look at textiles, bangle making, printing and all sorts of traditional crafts. There was no pressure to buy anything only lots of information about how the various artisans had settled in this city. We had chai and samosas with a lovely lady in her home and she showed us old family photographs and tried to unravel the complexities of how to describe various relatives in Indian families. Anshu was very helpful and explained anything we were unclear about. I warmly recommend this tour

We went on the walking tour in Udaipur and Jaipur and had a fantastic time. Both Nishtha (Udaipur) and Anshu (Jaipur) were excellent guides- really engaging, knowledgeable and great storytellers. After experiencing some mediocre tours in Delhi, I was very nervous about going on another tour where I just got facts recited to me. We used Virasat tours in Udaipur and had an excellent time with Nishtha. She took us through the old city in Udaipur and we saw a completely different side to it. Our experience was so good that we wanted to go with them for a tour in Jaipur. In Jaipur, Anshu gave us a real feel of the culture, heritage and history of Jaipur. Everything I wanted from a tour, and would HIGHLY recommend anyone visiting Udaipur/Jaipur to have this experience! Although you can find cheaper tours, this experience is 100% worth it and much more meaningful. You’ll leave the tour actually understanding the city, history and culture, and have a chance to taste the local street foods are delicious and completely safe to eat as well :)

We went on the evening bazaar and food walking tour with Madhav and it was a really good tour. We walked around the old town and ate street food. we saw lots of interesting shops and buildings, and loved the street food. Madhav S was caring (making sure we were comfortable) he was easy to understand (spoke clearly and took time to explain) and showed sincere interest in making sure his guests were happy. He shared a great deal of knowledge with us and I highly recommend working with him if you can.

It is a really good tour.

What an excellent introduction this was to the old town of Jaipur. Our guide spoke perfect English and was a pleasure to converse with on a varied range of topics! It was the first day of Divali so Jaipur was heaving but we were expertly steered from interesting craft experiences to delicious street food and back again over the course of our 3 hour tour. Crossing the road would have been a total non starter without our expert guide who somehow managed to enable us to weave our way amongst the stream of flying traffic without incident! I can thoroughly recommend this tour!

Our guide, Madhav Shekhawat, brought us around a two hour walking tour of the old city. We had a fantastic time. We saw the exceedingly colourful fabric bazaar, crowded by prospective brides and grooms due to the imminent wedding season. We also saw a couple in their house, and enjoyed chai and samosas. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable, Madoff brought the city to life. We happily recommend this firm and guide to visitors to Jaipur.

The guide, Nandini Birma a young local student, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic & charming. She made the difference to this excellent tour. In three packed hours we have covered different areas of Jaipur's huge bazaars, tested a wonderful variety of local food, from savoury to sweet, stopped at at interesting family run crafts workshops and were bold over by the sheer number and noise of people, bikes & cars and the range of colours and smells. Nandini was very informative about all aspects of the Bazaars from historical background, architecture, customs & cuisine and was very engaging throughout the tour. A truly amazing experience enhanced by a wonderful guide. Thank you Nandini.

We took the Bazaar, Crafts and Cuisine walking tour of Jaipur with Virasat. Our guide, Shubham, was excellent: he engaged with us, was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and was willing to answer questions and tailor the tour to our preferences. We visited streets, buildings and stalls that we’d never have found on our own and tried all sorts of delicious local food – without any adverse reactions! Our tour was on the night before Holi and he explained all about both the religious aspects of the festival and the following day’s “playing”. Highly recommended.

We walked through the old city of Jaipur, through the back alley ways, tasting food( we probably shouldn't have done !) the best Samosas!!seeing the old skills at work, re tinning pots , the buying and selling of precious stones, weighing of copper etc. It meant we were able to see the people in their day to day lives and get a feel for the place and learn of the history.
Our Explorer Guide was Madhav Shekhawat , he was very good, very interesting and knowledgable and made it a fascinating tour for us.....Thank you.
