Once again a uniquely themed food tour with the history of the city’s Parsi and Irani communities weaved in. My guide Arnavaz also added a lot more personal touches to the stories.Would recommend to anyone interested in learning about how Mumbai the city of immigrants and India as a country help to preserve ancient traditions of diaspora communities, and how these communities seek to hold on to their identity while finding their places in a new environment!

Booked a few city tours with Khaki and other operators for my 5-day stay in Mumbai and I had to say Khaki’s tour is indeed top notch! The WonderWomen tour about pioneer feminists of Mumbai and how they shaped the country’s social landscape today offered a rare insight into the less visible women of Mumbai. The tour was well-curated and rich in stories that would be hard to find on my own. The Nov 26 attack homage tour was amazing too - we walked the exact trails of those terrorists to reimagine the 2008 attack, paid homage to the heroes in the attack and discussed how it profoundly changed the country. Sudhakar was kind, knowledgeable and patiently answered all my random questions. This, together with the Irani Chai walk and the Ramadan Walk really made my Mumbai experience unforgettable! Would try the classic Mumbai history tour in my next visit!

Ram our host had prepared well in advance for us. He was well prepared with all the facts and treated us to our most enjoyable three and a half hours around the Bhori part of Mumbai during the #RamzanRamble. His. choice of places was excellent - we will certainly like to go back to those areas and have a full meal of the tasting menu we experienced.
