    Tailored Mumbai tour
Contacted MM first thing in morning and they were quickly able to confirm if they would be able to help. Opted for private guide and driver as MM packages didn’t quite fit what we wanted to see. Our college Student guide Uma tailored the tour for us. We were particularly impressed how he quickly he adapted the itinersry as he was unaware that we wanted to customise our tour. He was professional and gave a local perspective as well as all the historical info. Would recommend Uma, the driver and MM. Highlights - Sassoon dock and oval public cricket ground.

    An awesome Dhavari tour
We booked this tour through Mumbai Magic after the fantastic Mumbai Local tour we had with them yesterday. Abir, our lovely local guide, met us on time and showed us around the area where he grew up. Although he was only 20 years old, his knowledge of the area was excellent. He could answer any questions we asked and he gave us such a great insight as to how this ‘city in a city’ operates and works so well. We certainly came away with a different opinion of the area. It was a fantastic tour and we can highly recommend Mumbai Magic and a big thank you to Amir.

    Exciting day learning Warli art!!
The Warli Art Workshop with Mumbai Magic was absolutely fantastic! We had a great time learning about the art form from Rajnikath, an immensely talented artist and teacher. We sketched Warli forms on paper and painted our chosen designs on canvas in their comfortable studio. A special shout out to Parveen (coordinator and host) and Torab (co-host and translator) who went out of their way to keep us entertained and also ensured we had everything we needed, including access to clean bathrooms. I would strongly recommend this experience - we learned a new art form and also established connections with some very special and talented individuals.

    Dharavi tour.
Kashif is an excellent tour guide! The Dharavi Tour has been our best tour so far during our 3 week stay in India. He is a bright, intelligent, friendly and articulate young man who took us around his community and explained in detail how it worked. He is a resident from the Dharavi area and knew the workers whose livelihoods we visited in an unobtrusive way. He explained how the economy worked and gave us many interesting facts. The time flew by as Kashif was so captivating and passionate about the tour. We would thoroughly recommend this tour and especially having KASHIF as your tour guide.

    Changed My Perception!
Visiting Mumbai from the UK, choose to do a private tour of Dharavi slums with Mumbai Magic, arranged through our hotel. Farzan was our guide, who was from Dharavi himself. He knew the best route to see as much of real life in Dharavi, and how it is not like the media would make you believe. We were impressed with just how industrious and organised everything was there, and how the people make use of and recycle everything they can to generate revenue - this all changed my perception of what I thought the slums were. Farzan was very knowledgeable and keen to show the slum as it really is, and made us feel welcome, as well as answering all of our questions well. Highly recommended if you want to open your eyes to real life in Dharavi!

    Karvi in bloom
We visited the Sanjay Gandhi national Park with a bespoke guide. As timing had it, we saw the very rare Karvi flower in bloom, it blossoms every 8 years! The whole experience was unique and special. Thank you

    Amazing Dharavi Tour With Amaan
We did the Dharavi Tour and our hotel, 4 Seasons, kindly connected us with Mumbai Magic. Our tour guide, Amaan was the best. He was highly knowledgable, explained everything very well and step by step, very friendly and fun! We truly enjoyed our tour with Amaan and I can only recommend tours with him. Specifically ask for him when booking!

    Well organised, lovely people, authentic
My friend had organised a Bollywood and Kathak dance class which was fab! We entered a really interesting industrial building with printers and other workshops in full swing. Then we walked into an air conditioned dance studio and learnt a 1.30 min choreographed Bollywood dance, which was great fun. We also tried out some Kathak steps and a more contemporary routine. After visiting their great fabric shop we left in very good humour! Well organised, lovely people.

Thanks for a great tour of Dharavi!
Had an amazing tour of Dharavi with Kashif from Mumbai Magic. Kashif brought Dharavi to life for us, walking us through a number of industrial and residential areas. It was awesome to hear about his and others lives in Dharavi and understand his take on future development in the area. Would highly recommend for any foreign tourists or local mumbai residents looking to learn more about the city.

    Nature's Birthday Gift
Was eager to begin my birthday celebrations by being somewhere I love, and found it at Magic Tour's website -- The Kanheri Nature's Trail, at Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Now, I have done my fair share of touristy treks, and I needed this to be different. Representative of my cliched city life, I have walked by trees, mushrooms and crabs to reach the top of the hill no matter what. Guess it was time (and age) where I decided to stop and smell a flower (well, I actually ate a leaf!). All thanks to our fun and qualified Naturalist, Pankaj Jadhav. He spoke about trees, mushrooms, crabs and a lot more, which I am ashamed to declare, I knew nothing about. The only problem was that it ended it too soon, but when I got back home I was slammed. Need to get fitter, need more nature trails between birthdays.

    Personalised tour
Appreciated the personalised nature of this tour - and we went beyond the usual 3 hours. The guide was very knowledgeable and flexible when something caught my interest. The driver was very safe and knew the best ways to get around.

A Tour like no other - generating memories I will never forget.
The most rewarding experience of my entire week long trip to India. I was in Mumbai for two days and at the suggestion of Mumbai Magic Tours I signed up for the tour of Dharavi - the biggest slum in the world. It was extraordinary to get the insights and understanding of this extraordinary place. NOT a tour of poverty but a humbling and inspiring experience, gaining the most remarkable insight into a $1bn shadow economy within the 2.39 sq km pocket of Mumbai housing 1 million people. The Tour fees all go to the local charity and my guide was a resident from the slum - the most charming, well educated student, currently studying medicine at university! I cannot recommend this Tour enough or indeed Mumbai Magic Tours, who were a joy to deal with, totally trustworthy and super helpful and friendly.

Great and educative tour through Dharavi
We did the Spirit of Dharavi tour and it was great. We were able to walk through the narrow streets of Dharavi and see the industries and way of life there. Our guide was really informative and could answer all of our questions. All in all a very interesting, educative and worthwhile tour!

    Excellent private driver and service
Having done a Mumbai walking tour last year and been impressed with their professionalism, we arranged a private driver and guides with Mumbai Magic. We travelled from Mumbai to Aurangabad then on to Hampi. Ranjeet was always quick to respond to our queries with helpful and comprehensive answers. Our driver Ryaz was cheerful and lovely. He spoke quite good English and told us interesting information about where we were passing through. Both he and the car were really clean. Although he didn't drink alcohol and his religion meant that women didn't either, he took us to the wine shop and came with us to make sure we were OK. He really looked after us at all times. Our guides were very interesting, knowledgeable and spoke very good English. They were all very proud of their culture and willingly answered any questions we had. We really recommend this company.

    Dharavi Tour
We did a tour of Dharavi with Mosim. Mosim is a medical student who lives in Dharavi and he was amazing! Showed us around and answered all our questions - his English was great and his insights were invaluable. There were only 2 of us too so it does not feel like a tour! Thanks Mosim!!

Our guide met us near the Gateway to India as agreed but as it was Republic day and the area was full of people that was no mean feat. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with full details of everywhere we went and a lot more besides. The first part of the trip was to walk around the fabulous buildings from the era of British rule before ending up near the Oval where many cricket matches were taking place. watching them whilst waiting for a bus was an added bonus. The bus trip was just as we imagined with standing room only and it took us along the Marine Drive before turning inland and dropping us at the Gandhi museum where we had some free time. A short taxi drive later and we were taken to a lovely eating house where snacks were sold and we were treated to two different Indian snacks which were really tasty and included in the price of the trip. Next after a short taxi ride we viewed the outdoor laundry and got its full detail - history and social issues. The final element was a train ride back to the Victoria Terminus - just as we imagined. Passengers hanging out of the doors - a typical Indian train ride. Fellow cruisers had also been on a train, but in the first class air conditioned carriages and all wished that they had experienced the trip that we had and we had paid only a fraction of the price.

I cannot rate the trip from Mumbai Magic highly enough. Truly magical.

Me and three friends needed a last minute activity for our one day in Mumbai after another separate tour fell through (we mistakenly agreed previously to go on a hop on/hop off tour with a cab driver with a very heavy accent and no AC and decided to pivot asap). After some quick online research, I decided to reach out to Mumbai Magic and they saved the day! They were very quick to respond and were able to accommodate us very last minute - I called them around 12:30pm for a 2pm tour time the same day and they made it happen! The guide Mani and another woman who I believe was shadowing her met us near the Gateway and we were so relieved to meet a guide so friendly and excited to show us around. A college student living and studying in Mumbai, Mani was very easy to talk to and showed such fun enthusiasm and deep knowledge of her city. We saw some some very interesting sights in a short period of time, stopped by a DELICIOUS street snack shop, and experienced taking the bus and train like a local! I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a day tour in Mumbai. Thanks Mani and Mumbai Magic!

My experience with Magic Tours was excellent, from start to finish. Very shortly after I sent my initial inquiry, I received a response and very clear information about what my options were for making the most of my 13 hour layover in Mumbai. The contacts I worked with at Mumbai Magic were very communicative and helpful, and within a day I had everything planned out and booked!

I hardly had to put in any effort - I just had to show up at the Mumbai airport! All the arrangements were made for me and everything went seamlessly. The driver and guide were both wonderful, and I felt very well taken care of. I loved how flexible the day was - since I selected a private tour, I was in control of a lot of the decisions (e.g. if I wanted to skip something, was hungry for a snack, wanted to spend longer at one place, etc.).

I would highly recommend Magic Tours to anyone visiting India and feeling overwhelmed by figuring out where to go, what to see, how to get there. I got a truly authentic look at the "real" Mumbai, which I could have never figured out how to do on my own, and the level of service I received was well worth the (very affordable) price of the tour!

Thank you Mumbai Magic for making my 13 hours in Bombay a fantastic experience!!

We did the 'local tour' with Manisha in February and had a great afternoon with her. Manisha is really professional and the tour is well planned. We saw the main tourist attractions and got many background information from Manisha. One of our highlights was the restaurant where she took us (we can recommend you to let her choose the dishes - it was all delicious). Thank you for the wonderful tour, Manisha!

I booked this tour on the recommendation of a friend who used the company previously.

Communication was excellent. We were able to book a personalised itinerary to our group which also included a short train ride in Mumbai.

We were collected from the cruise port and our guide was extremely knowledgable. She spoke very good English and was also flexible throughout the day when we wanted to change our plans slightly.

Transport was good and cold
Water provided throughout the day.

Many thanks to Priyanka and your colleagues, you made our visit to Mumbai very memorable.

Sidhesh was an amazing tour guide! We had so much fun on this tour. Sidhesh took us through all the main architectural attractions, but then showed us some really neat stops as well including a field with over 50 games of cricket being played. We loved taking the local transportation. The “snacks” portion was truly a meal, and I wish we’d had a smaller breakfast so we could have had more food on the tour. Sidhesh also had great tips and conversation throughout the day, and so we learned a lot about Mumbai life through him. He then gave us a bunch of recommendations for other things to do in the city, all of which were awesome. Regarding price, I usually vacation in China and Southeast Asia, so typically pay less for tours (things are just cheaper there), but this was so worth the price! Would absolutely do it again. Thank you for making our first day in India amazing!

We joined this tour which had been booked by another person. The best thing about it was the guides! We had two "pros" and two trainees with us. The trainees were really quiet and shy, but Siddesh and Atul Shendge were amazing! They are young and enthusiastic, and we felt like we were being shown the city by friends. We loved that we took a variety of transport -- walking, minibus, taxis, and even the train. I'd definitely recommend these guys.

I joined the Mumbai Local tour and my guide that day was Divya.
We spent about 4 hours walking around the city and exploring it like a local, taking as well no AC taxis, train and a bus. I appreciated the fact that we used local transportation to move around. It’s an adventure in itself!

Divya is a very knowledgeable guide, she explained me so much about Mumbai history and she told me all the most interesting stories. She’s a fun company a well and she introduced me to the most delicious Mumbai snacks!

I had already visited Mumbai in the past, but it was only with this tour that I finally really got to know the city.
I totally recommend this tour, as an introduction to the city and the history and culture of Mumbai!

A female guide is rare to find in India, and I've traveled here a dozen times! Parveen made architecture and history come alive through stories and insight into the lives of architects, princes and laundry men. I especially loved the structure of the tour, some walking, driving, eating at an award winning, hygienic Cafe, and taking a bus. The pace was perfect for me and I appreciated being able to ask questions of all sorts...from the status/education of women to the Indian love of gold. Highly recommended!

It was my first day in Mumbai, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the city. Divya the guide was exceptional: passionate and knowledgeable she let me discover in half a day the city from its history and architecture to street food, transport, local markets and more.
Also done the Spirit of Dharavi tour the following day and it has been a great experience as well.
Absolutely recommended!
