I loved the tour and highly recommend it! JD shared his knowledge about culture and religion and took us to the best food spots in Old Delhi! He seasoned the experience with a good sense of humour and answered patiently all our questions. He loves showing visitors his city and is very passionate about making this a worthwile walking tour, even including a riksha ride!

The tour was amazing, JD was an outstanding guide! We all felt safe and comfortable in his hands and had an awesome time! Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try some real Delhi style street food, while also experiencing some great cultural and religious sites!

Super fun and authentic way of making chai! JD’s home was beautiful, his family (and neighbors) super friendly, and now, all other masala chai tastes like water. He was super flexible with schedule changing and short availability, absolutely recommend, especially to those who are wary of chai / caffeine!

Saw some really beautiful murals and learned a lot of history surrounding the Lodhi neighborhood, as well as the stories behind the artwork. JD is great!

Had such an amazing time with JD! Was worried that 48 hours in Delhi wouldn’t be enough to experience it, but he really showed us places we wouldn’t have ventured ourselves. The food was so good, no issues with hygiene (written nearly 24 hours after the tour), a lot of exposure to different religions that you wouldn’t get outside of India, and incredible sights / smells! One tour, all of your senses will be activated, and JD is nothing short of great. He’s friendly, he’s kind, he’s funny, he’s witty, and so easy to talk to. We did 2 other excursions with him, and it felt like a friend showing us around, not a guide. Could not recommend this more!

That was truly amazing. In less than an hour i learned from scratch to prepare a special Indian masala tea, one that all my guests and family now saying is the best tea they tried. On top of that JD is so nice and cool, as well as his father, all that together makes the experience awesome

We had the best evening with JD he really does go out of his way to ensure you are well looked after and well fed. Make sure you go hungry as there are about 10 different dishes to try each one is delicious. My fave was the crispy spinach We even got to meet the owner of one of the most popular stalls in New Delhi JD is so good natured and kind even helping us to get the metro back to where we were staying - we cannot thank him enough, he made our time in Dehli fantastic We even had Indian cola JD taught us so much about the city and the food was amazing

Excellent food tour. JD is so nice ?, funny and knowledgable he also have great vslues. You get a lot more than food. You visit temples , spice market, rickshaw ride you learn about the cultures too. A great introduction to the busy Delhi in a secure space with an authentic essence. Thsk you so much JD

My husband and I recently went on JD’s Delhi street food tour and had an amazing time exploring the city's vibrant food and market scene, while wandering through the historic lanes of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. The guide JD is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about food and cultural practices on a tour (3 pax + guide) where we ate great food and had fun all together. I also appreciated the focus on food safety, as JD ensured we visited trusted and carefully selected vendors who followed proper hygiene practices and high quality ingredients. The tour was both educational and enjoyable, offering a deeper appreciation for Delhi's rich street food culture during which we felt safe and well guided. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Delhi!

Excellent in every way JB is so kind interesting and knowledgeable about street art and its history in the lohdi district You are taken to some amazing colourful fascinating murals and learn the stories behind each one Some are interactive and JB is a superb photographer and knows the exact shots to take JB taught us so much about Dehli he has a great sense of fun and humour We were joined on the experience by a lovely American chap called Luke and JB’s guardian angel a dog that he calls Barkey ! We stopped to have home made chai,samosas, chutney, bread pakora ,and biscuits delicious and unexpected. Then finally JB took us to Lodi gardens as the sun was going down - what a magical place Please don’t hesitate to book this tour everything about it was great”

JD was a fantastic Tour Guide of Old Delhi. We visited multiple temples, Jain and Sikh (which we had not experienced yet in our multiple weeks in India and Nepal. So much yummy food and so much fun with JD! He has so much knowledge and is very funny and charming.

Loved it! We met JD on another one of his tours - and loved his story-telling, unique insights and character so much that we also booked into his Old Delhi Experience as well. Come hungry as you will be eating all sorts of sweet and savory street foods, without worrying about getting sick. On top of that you visit the Sikh temple, and have a personalized tour of the kitchens. JD has put a lot of thought into the tour route to also share history behind the food and makes sure you are safe and comfortable the whole time.

JD is an excellent host. He has carefully chosen the activities in this experience to reflect the diversity of culture in Delhi. Communication prior to the tour was excellent so we knew exactly where to meet him. We especially liked the thoughtful explanations of each place. The visit to the Sikh Gurdwara was a highlight and you could really feel the spirit of community there. The food along the way was extremely tasty and plentiful and JD has specifically chosen vendors with food safety in mind. He also balances time in the hustle and bustle of the market with quieter places so you can recharge. Highly recommended

An amazing tour you must make time for when you are in Delhi! We loved meeting JD - super knowledgeable, super passionate and a really nice guy. JD showed us his favorite street art and shared all the stories behind them, including when he met the artists and saw the murals being painted. Halfway through he does a chai stop with his own special recipe which is delicious. Finally a stop at Lodhi gardens. JD also took great pics for us and shared other local tips.
