Morning our airport representative will meet you in the hotel lobby, after which you will be transferred to your hotel for 1 night stay.
Later enjoy guided sightseeing tour of Agra Fort. Explore the Agra Fort, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. Shah Jahan, the Taj's creator, spent the last years of his life imprisoned at the fort by his son Aurangzeb. It was built in the late 1560`s by their predecessor, Akbar, with later embellishments by Jehangir, his son, and Shah Jahan, his grandson.
Evening explore local market and witness the intricate marble inlay work.

Day 2: Agra to Delhi by surface
Stop At: Taj Mahal, Dharmapuri, Forest Colony, Tajganj, Agra 282001 India
Wake up early for a sunrise visit to the world-renowned Taj Mahal (closed on Friday). Referred to as one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal is the epitome of tourism in India and is celebrated for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty. A symphony in white marble, a tribute to eternal love, it was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. There are tombs of Mumtaz and Shahjahan within the mausoleum. Done in white marble, it took 22 years and over 20,000 workers and craftsmen to complete this rhapsody in stone (1630-52 AD). The main structure is set amidst landscaped gardens. While on three sides it is surrounded by high walls, the rear is bound by the river Yamuna.

Stop At: Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Yamuna River, Agra 282001 India
Explore, the exquisite tomb of Mizra Ghiyas Beg, built by his daughter Nur Jehan, will be your first stop. It is delicate in appearance due to its finely carved jali (marble lattice screens). It was the first Mughal structure to be built completely in marble, the first to make extensive use of pietra dura. Located on the banks of the Yamuna it occupies the space which until then had been a series of beautiful pleasure gardens. Later you will visit Chini-ka-Rauza, a Persian-style riverside tomb of Afzal Khan, a poet who served as Shah Jahan’s chief minister. It was built between 1628 and 1639.
Following sightseeing tour, drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival transfer to hotel or your place of stay.
