- RebeccaO6460 contributionsMagical! My friends and I did a private Golden Triangle Tour with Glimpse of Rajasthan. This tour was magical! We were impressed by the beauty of the forts and palaces we visited, especially the City Palaces in Udaipur and Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri, and ultimately, the highlight of our tour, theTaj Majal! The architecture of these palaces forts, and Taj Mahal were truly breathtaking!!! Of course, we would not have had a memorable and enjoyable tour had it not for World Travel Experiences (WTX). The day to day experience was like clockwork. The coordination was seamless, from arrival at Indira Gandhi Int'l airport to meeting our tour guides in each of the cities visited and drop off at IGI at the end of the tour. It helped that we were able to communicate with WTX through WhastUp while on the traveling. We had excellent English speaking tour guides who made us truly appreciate the sights we visited. They took us to restaurants with great tasting food and helped us order foods we can eat knowing that we tried to avoid spicy food. There were a lot of street beggars and vendors at the sights which the tour guides advised us to not engage with. That was helpful! Our tour guides were Vikas (Vikesh) in New Delhi, Anand in Udaipur, Veena in Jaipur, Vishal in Agra. One of our friends needed special assistance. The tour guides helped us with wheelchair rental so we can all enjoy the sights. Our drivers: all three of our drivers were excellent! We had Mr. Roshan in New Delhi, Mr. Kumwar Singh in Jodphur, and Udaipur. We could not give Mr. Singh enough complements. He was very professional, very safe driver, polite, and seems to have radar to know when to appear whenever he dropped us off at a certain location. We had Kamal in Jaipur and Agra. He, too, was very helpul and polite. He got our car out of a tight spot that would have delayed our tour. Last, but not least, thank you Chandra Adhikari and Saraubh Jai for a super efficient organization of our tour. I highly recommend this tour and WTX.Written 16 January 2025

- AurorainSeptember220 contributionsVaranasi - amazingOur flight via Indigo was horrendous - delayed for 5 hours +. We missed our visit in Varanasi. We were so glad to have followed World Travel Experience. The team was quick to make changes to our itinerary and we were able to witness the Aarti Ceremony in time. Truly appreciate their effort. We enjoyed ourselves in Varanasi , the many cultural experiences are interesting, life time encounters for us. Thank you WTX once again.Written 11 January 2025
- AurorainSeptember220 contributionsFantastic trip with World Travel ExperienceWe have such a wonderful holiday in India. Prior to the trip, we hear horror stories about India. Abhijit worked out an itinerary for us. He is particularly attentive and assuring every time... Very responsive to my queries and concerns. The package is value for money and WTX has planned everything so well. Hotels are great - very clean and safe. Our driver, Rakesh is smiley and humble. They were flexible and catered to some of our requests which we were appreciative. Throughout our trip, WTX team checked on us if everything ok and gave us updates. Feel safe and assuring during the trip. Wonderful experiences adding to our best memories of Agra, Jaipur, New Delhi and Varanasi. We are likely to consider more trips to India with WTX and hope to receive the same hospitality and standard : )Written 9 January 2025

- RSS06090 contributionsExceptional travel experienceWorld Travel Experiences planned and executed an incredible family vacation, taking us through India’s Golden Triangle and the breathtaking region of Kashmir. The trip was smooth and hassle-free. Every team member we interacted with was courteous and professional. It was reassuring to have constant support from Saurabh throughout our travels. - navinnand0 contributions14 day private, customized tour Delhi, Shimla, Agra, Jaipur & UdaipurWe recently took a 14-day tour with this WTX, Overall, the experience was 4/5, but there were repeated miscommunications first few days, which got resolved after some feedback from us. We appreciated the upgraded car and punctual driver. Hotels met our expectations, and we were granted an extra half-day for missed monuments. However, one of guides took us to an off-itinerary shopping stop where we felt pressured by the shop assistants. Future tours should stick to the planned schedule. Special thanks to the guides and drivers in Shimla and Udaipur—they were exceptional.Written 2 January 2025
- Resort054687301990 contributionsFascinating Experience and Amazing Tour GuidesThe guided tour was amazing and it made what would otherwise be a complicated trip very smooth and seamless. The guides all spoke English well and were very informative. The last three stops after the golden triangle (Orcha, Khajuraho, and Varanasi) were the hidden gems of the trip and would not have been on my radar if it were not for this tour. The driving in India took a lot of getting used to, which made us appreciate the professional drivers since I would not be comfortable driving myself. We also liked the optional activities suggested by the guides some of which were so good that I would make them a required part of the itinerary (like the canyon in Khajuraho). My recommended improvements is considering an option for paying more to add entrance tickets and tips / gratuities to the price (which are not included) since we were not used to carrying so much cash, did not always know how much tip was appropriate, and it was not always easy finding an ATM that worked or getting small change for tips (most ATMs only allowed withdrawals of 500 INR denominations, which was not always easy breaking into smaller change for tips). If that is not possible, I would perhaps include a breakdown of entrance ticket prices and suggested tips so we had an idea how much cash to bring or withdraw from ATMs. Otherwise I would highly recommend this tour!Written 30 December 2024
- Bhavikdsi0 contributionsGreat Kerala trip!We had a good time on this trip with our extended family. Here are a few suggestions for improvement 1) given traffic and how much time is spent on the road, the last day of our trip could have been planned better with less time in the houseboat 2) hotels were great especially Elephant hotel in Thekkady. An extra day Thekkady would be good 3) $35 for Christmas gala was over priced and not worth it Other than that our guides were good, Kerala is a great destination and WTX service and responsiveness were great.Written 30 December 2024

- Trek629598425410 contributionsExcellent Tour with Great ValueWe had an amazing tour. The monuments we visited were incredible and we got some great deals at the shops they took us to. I appreciated that the shops they took us to had real authentic products and not fake products. Our driver, Rakesh, was excellent and always made sure we were taken care of. Our tour guides were knowledgable. I also appreciated that the tour company was flexible when we wanted some changes to the tour.Written 8 December 2024

- Savvytravelers123-l0 contributionsAssam and Meghalay tripWe were very impressed with the service we received with this tour company. Excellent communication from start time finish. Every query we had was dealt swiftly. Hemant, the tour manager and his trainy assistant Rahul made our trip very enjoyable. They were polite and very pleasant deal with. They made changes to our agreed itinerary to accommodate our needs without any issue. Unfortunately, one of the family member fell sick. Hemant took all the stress of cancelling and rebooking the flights at very short notice and did checkin on our behalf. He is a true asset to the company. We also received the refund for the cancellation of our flight in couple days. I would highly recommend this company.Written 27 November 2024

I booked a private tour because I wanted the flexibility to tailor my experience and avoid the standard itinerary that a group tour offers. In hind sight i should have been more specific with my brief to WTX as my itinerary was not what i expected. The trip was ok. Our driver Narender got us safely from Delhi to Agra, Ranthambore and Jaipur and we appreciate the tough job of a driver who has to drive such long distances every day. However, we stuck to the itinerary and there was little flexibility for deviation. The itinerary had too many shopping stops which we should have specified we did not want to do, this took away from time we could have spent at the sites or exploring other landmarks. The tour guides could be more knowledgeable and passionate about their cities, some guides were good at explaining the landmarks but at other times I felt we were herded from one place to the next with very basic explanations and without being able to fully appreciate what we were seeing. When we had free time after finishing everything in the itinerary and asked for recommendations for other things to see and do, there was no further recommendations beyond items in the itinerary and i know for a fact there were interesting places we did not get to see i.e.the Narhargah Fort. The accommodations although clean with good services was often inconveniently located, making it difficult for us to explore on our own. If I were to book a private tour again, I would be more specific about my expectations and request for thee tour to be more tailored my interests.

Had an amazing time. Tour very organised. Met at airport by our driver Darmendr who had good English and was great throughout. Neelam our liaison checked daily that all was going OK. Sights fantastic. Only downside, hotel in Agra dark and dull.

This is not the exact tour I did but close enough.
For any tour to work, there are basic make-or-break essentials. On the positive side, all arrangements were made and the drivers I had were both reliable and excellent.
But any tour lives or dies on the guides. Of my six guides, only two spoke English well enough to be fully understandable and to answer my questions. Two others were totally disinterested. It was like watching a play with an obstructed view-- I was there but still missing it.
There were also MANY mistakes made by the office, some because of poor English skills but others that were just bad planning. (On arrival, for example, I was driven to the Lotus Temple in Dehli and my driver told me "go in." No guide, no explanation of where I was. Or I was booked on a flight from Jaipur connecting in Dehli to get to Varanasi: "Why aren't I flying directly to Varanasi and saving several hours," I asked. "Because there no direct flights." I send them the itinerary of a direct flight. "That flight would cost $60 additional?" So had I not asked, to save $60 I would have lost half of a day. That kind of thing. They did not consult with me or ask my preferences.) When I would message the office I would get prompt response but the answers were often unintelligible or not answers to my questions because of poor English. I received an itinerary one day that included places I had seen the day before. Places that had been on my itinerary did not happen or were unscheduled until I asked about them. It was a mess.
The hotels were uneven-- some nice, some not so nice.
I imagine that for Hindi speaking guests, things are better. But for me, rather than relaxing and trusting the tour company to handle all the details, the opposite was true; on a daily basis I was fighting with them just to get clarity on the plans. I can't recommend this company for English speaking guests.

It has never crossed my mind to visit India as a holiday destination but for the sake of my son, I took a leap in the dark.
The tour covered Delhi(Old & New), Jaipur, Ranthambore & Agra and all these places amazed us with the culture, landscape, lifestyle &food including my curry dishes.
I enjoyed very much the rickshaw ride in Old Delhi and could not help but were very impressed with the determination of the young rickshaw driver who showed such perserverance and strength to deliver an enjoyable ride in a very difficult heavy traffic and narrow streets.
In Jaipur, the elephant ride was superb and strange but quite fun to encounter souveniers peddlars who heckled you with the wares despite we showed absolutely no interest. Imagine how an Indian headgear was offered to us at US$50 each subsequently dropped to US$5 for two although we still did not purchase any.
At Ranthambore, although we did not see any tigers, the jeep ride over the hilly terrain and undulating landscape was an experience which was worth the money paid.
Our last stop was at Agra and we were not disappointed due to seeing the majestic beauty of the famours historical white marble Taj Mahal. The pictures and documentaries I have seen in the past do not do any justice to the actual physical sight and the incredible story behind it. There were plans for a black equivalent at a nearby site but tragedy struck when Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his own son over money.
The food were superb throughout our stay as the driver and tour guides knew where to take us.
The only disappointment in is the lousy hotel at Jaipur due to its poor working shower and that our room was not upkeeped despite the staff prompted us in the first place to have it done.
Notwithstanding the little whingeing above, we give the overall experience 5*.
