Historic walk through beautiful Qutub Complex
We recently enjoyed an exceptionally engaging tour of the stunning Qutub complex, guided by the wonderfully informed Parul. She demonstrated a profound knowledge across a broad spectrum of subjects pertaining to the history of the site. Her delivery was not only insightful but peppered with anecdotes that were both captivating and, at times, startling. For anyone with a keen interest in architecture and cultural history, this tour comes highly recommended. Parul's expertise truly enhances the experience, making it memorable and enriching.

Old Delhi food and Heritage walk.
We book this m food and heritage tour as we had limited time in Delhi. We picked this tour based on the reviews as it seamed to tick all the boxes for what we wanted to do, see and taste while in Delhi. I can honestly say that This tour far out did our expectations 100%. Raghu was our guide. Raghu had a vast knowledge of the old Delhi area which included history and culture, Buildings and architecture but above all he knows and understands Indian street food. You would not find the places Raghu brought us to even if you had a map. He navigated the tiny tight streets with command and ease. Keeping a very close eye on his guests to ensure we were safe at all times. Wonderful experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Raghu and this tour. If you are limited and want is squeeze in as much as you can then Raghu is your man and this tour will not disappoint. PS. Do not eat before this tour. Be warned. Lol.

      A walk to remember indeed!
A tour that only an extremely interested, knowledgeable person can provide. My guide was Ms. Parul, a local who had extensive knowledge about the history of the place and was an amazing storyteller. The very informative narrative of Qutub Minar Complex started with a brief history of the various clans that ruled in and from Delhi. We then moved to the monuments that dotted the area and Ms. Parul provided a detailed explanation of each structure, their architecture, anomalies (of which there were quite a few!) I was provided the opportunity to explore the intricacies of some monuments and form my own theories. I heard the various theories about the Qutub Minar and Iron pillar. Personally, this was the best tour of any historical site I have had so far.

Food and heritage walk with Stanley.
We feel so lucky that we had Stanly as our foodie guide, it one of the top highlights of our 2 week trip to India, a perfect end to our trip! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and caring about our safety the entire tour. He spoke perfect English which was highly important for us, as some previous guides on other trips were hard to understand and made the day not as fun. I would highly recommend Stanley to anyone, we feel he is a great asset to your company!

Great tour, must do! After a rough arrival and getting ripped off on our taxi from the airport, Raghu was incredibly friendly and welcoming to the hostel and gave us the right introduction to Old Delhi and India.
Food was incredible and the route was really interesting. Raghu gave great insight into the history of the city and the dishes we were eating. Great way to start the trip!

Raghu is an exceptional guide - he won my heart before the tour started by moving the start time back an hour because of the cold! Once we met in the morning he was super genuine and easy going from the start, and my partner and I really enjoyed the carefully selected vendors and menu items that he introduced us to throughout the day. We learned heaps, ate (and laughed) a lot and saw some amazing, hidden sights. It was great seeing the markets before they opened, and again hours later when we watched them come alive. Raghu also gave us some amazing tips for the rest of our trip in India - so his generosity really extended beyond our time together in Delhi.

Would definitely recommend Raghu’s tour to anyone visiting Delhi who wants a unique way to eat and see their way through Old Delhi! Thank you Raghu for a wonderful start to our adventure!!!!

If you are wondering about booking a walk through the Old Delhi narrow alleys and tasting one of the most flavorful cuisine in the world, yes, you should if you want to experience the culture at its fullest. This tour with this company is the must do in Delhi as it combines all: food tasting, traditions, a bit of history and exploration! Please please please make sure you are coming with an empty stomach, as you will be fed about 8-10 different dishes (small portions, thank God, but so filling). Parul was our guide and her knowledge was outstanding, her presentation skills and story telling was so captivating! I felt safe at all time with her, although we were only 3 women walking around by ourselves. Very well organized! You will not be disappointed!

    AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE

This is not just a guided tour: this is a truly immersive experience of Old Delhi, rich in history and packed with amazing food.

I had visited Old Delhi several times before, and I was always overwhelmed by the crowds and the smells. Our guide helped us slow down and appreciate the different eras of architecture and taught us about the incredible history of the area, all while taking us to the most amazing street food vendors across the city.

We started with vegetarian dishes and moved into non-veg. We were constantly offered extra food (trust me, you will walk away as full as you could ever want to be: you don't need to double up on anything), and our guide had everything we needed on hand; from disinfectant to bug spray.

I don't want to talk about the food we had as I don't want to ruin the experience for anyone, but every dish was AMAZING. From cold veg street dishes to a sit down curry, everything was absolutely exceptional; and all from vendors that foreigners would certainly miss on a solo trip into the city. This is true local knowledge.

Raghu (your guide) has a Masters Degree in Tourism, and his wealth of knowledge is simply fascinating. But it is the way that he guides you through town that makes all the difference. Lots of guides just recite a script at your face and ask you to buy jewellery from vendors that have paid them off. Here, we were invited into discussion about food and history. He took us to quiet streets (yes there are quiet streets in Old Delhi) to talk about food culture, and to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the spice market. By the end of the evening we felt as though we were dining with a friend.

I cannot recommend this experience enough. I found a new love for the old city... And I ate so much food I didn't need breakfast the next day. You will not regret booking this.

Genuinely worth 5*s. Raghu is a calm, kind and knowledgeable guide. We came as a group for a wedding in Jaipur, of those who visited Delhi, we took part in this tour because we all recommended it to each other. We took the vegetarian version but our friends highly recommended the meat version also.

The tour lasted 5hours and was worth every Rupee. The food was some of the best we’ve eaten in India with a few completely new dishes from venders you’d never be able to find down back alleys and streets. There’s a good selection of about 6-7 dishes over a long stroll through the streets and markets, interspersed with a rich history of Indian culture, history and of course food insights. You’ll certainly feel full!

We’ve been on a few food tours and this is one of the best we’ve done and not surprised that they keep getting 5*reviews.

We had a fantastic tour with Raghu and it was definitely a highlight of our trip to Delhi! Raghu was very kind and authentic, and made us feel very comfortable and safe throughout the tour. We had a couple of gluten free people, and he made sure to let us know which items we could eat as well as asking the vendors for special versions using chickpea or lentil flour. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about both history and food, and we could feel his sincerity at every moment in talking to us and explaining the food, history, and culture. He also helped us purchase items in the markets at local prices, speaking to and negotiating with the vendors on our behalf. Of course, the food was absolutely delicious and plentiful (there were so many different items to try!) and none of us got sick from the food. I highly highly recommend this tour if you want to explore Old Delhi, learn some history, and taste the delicious foods!!!

I went on the old Delhi food tour with Parul, a local from old Delhi who is clearly well informed of the local history, best food spots, and a very pleasant and lighthearted young woman. We tried countless snacks, both savory and sweet, including many chaats, a sweet lassi, and a delicious hot chai. Many of the food stands we visited have been in operation for over 20 to 30+ years and have clearly perfected their craft. Parul safely navigated me through the narrow and hectic streets of old Delhi, something I would never be able to do on my own safely and successfully. I have tried many different Indian foods from the USA, where I am a native (NYC), but these are some of the best desi snacks I have ever had). I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is new to India, New Delhi, or is interested in exploring the local food and culture.

Can’t recommend this tour enough if you want to try authentic Indian street food & visit some hidden gems. It was my first time in Delhi & my tour guide Parul couldn’t have been more helpful. She explained the history of the area, as well as the different foods we were trying - all of which were excellent!

It was great to have a local insight into the history and culture in the city & Parul’s enthusiasm for her city shone throughout. Thank you!

This was one of my favourite tours during my time in India because you really get to know a city through its food and culture, and Raghu was the perfect host to share this experience with. I booked the ‘Food and Heritage Walk of Old Delhi’ and I was greeted in the morning by Raghu at the metro exit. He provided a brief overview of what to expect and context of the tour, and this really helped set the scene for the rest of the tour. We walked through the old town, made stops at various eatery establishments trying the best local street food and also had a tuk tuk ride between places. For those foodies out there, the food selected was perfection and flavours will leave a lasting impression on you! Make sure you have plenty of space in your stomach because you don’t want to miss out on any item! They were located in narrow laneways and this is where knowing a local is best. Thoroughly enjoyed my tour from start to end and the experience felt like a really good friend showing you the best things around their home town. Highly recommend this tour to get to know the history of Old Delhi and learn to eat where the locals eat too!
