Fantastic private tour of Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra (Taj Mahal)
We had an amazing tour of India’s Golden Triangle region over three days and two nights in mid-November. The tour was led by our tour guide Hari Balwinder Singh (5 Senses Tours) and his network of local guides. Our group of 7 (including two kids aged 13 & 11) flew from Kochi to Delhi, where Balwinder met us at the airport with a warm welcome and a lovely, spacious 10-seater van (complete with a dedicated driver). Our tour of Delhi included a visit to the Qutub Minar minaret and the Swaminarayan Akshardham, as well as a "drive by" of the Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential residence) and the India Gate. Balwinder and our local guide also took us to a lovely gastro pub that served very good local cuisine. Then, we headed to Jaipur, where our guide negotiated with the hotel to make sure that our included dinner would be available despite our late arrival. The next day, Balwinder introduced us to our local guide and we all travelled to the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the Govind Devji Temple, a nearby local market, the Amber Fort, the Jantar Mantar, and some local vendors. It is worth noting that our local guide for this day was astonishingly knoweldgeable, well-connected, and experienced (he knows everyone, including the PM!). That evening, we drove again to Agra, where we spent the night in order to get an early visit to the Taj Mahal and some local vendors before our return flight to Kochi. Overall, the tour was extremely well planned and managed from beginning to end, and enabled us to arrive in plenty of time for our return flight. At each location, the local guides that Balwinder connected us to were knowledgeable, well-spoken, and kind, and during our many hours of driving our driver was very professional, indefatigable, and extremely accommodating in helping us find rest stops when needed. As our main handler, Balwinder was completely dedicated, knowledgeable, and committed to ensuring that we had a great time. We highly recommend him!

          Excellent tour
Our trip was amazing and in great part thanks to our amazing driver, Balwinder. He was patient, kind and so knowledgeable. He was always flexible and willing to adapt the itinerary to our family’s needs. He knows all the areas so well and helped us prioritize seeing so much in a short time! He made us feel safe and well cared for throughout the trip. I highly recommend this tour!

          Amazing! Very happy!!
I would recommend 5 Senses to everyone. In fact, I did to my brother, who has already booked them. Very pleasant to interact with. Fair and transparent prices. And our driver/organizer Balwinder was a true pleasure. All around fantastic.

Immersion into the heart of old Delhi
This tour provided me with the pleasure of visiting Old Delhi. The city is a vibrant tapestry of history, culture, and sensory delights. One of the highlights was visiting the magnificent temples and helping prepare food for the needy at the Sikh temple in particular. Each temple has its unique charm and architectural beauty, offering a serene escape from the bustling city life right outside. The intricate carvings and the spiritual ambiance left a lasting impression on me. Another unforgettable experience was exploring the Spice Market. The market is a kaleidoscope of colors and aromas, with vendors offering a wide variety of spices, nuts and other interesting items. We also had the opportunity to visit the craft vendors, who showcased an impressive array of handmade goods. From intricate jewelry to beautifully crafted textiles, the craftsmanship and creativity of the artisans were truly remarkable. It's a great place to pick up unique souvenirs and support local artisans at good prices. Overall, Old Delhi is a destination that offers a rich cultural experience and a glimpse into India's vibrant heritage. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and flavors of this incredible city.

          Experiences of a Lifetime
The visit was both enlightening and inspiring, offering us a deeper appreciation of these historic landmarks. The Taj Mahal, with its stunning architecture and intricate details, left a lasting impression on all of us. The guided tour provided valuable insights into the history and significance of this magnificent monument. Additionally, our time at Agra Fort was equally enriching, as we explored its vast expanse and learned about its strategic importance in history, while taking in the beauty of the structures within. Cannot say enough about the guides and our overall lead guide. They are what made our trip so wonderful and fulfilling.

6 days of paradise in Kashmir
We had a memorable experience of kashmir with Five senses tours. They had delighted us with Ladakh earlier and so we booked Kashmir as well. Nissar was brilliant and warm and hospitable. He ensured we had a taste of genuine kashmir hospitality. We saw incredible gardens, landscapes , glaciers and had rides on ponies and gondolas. The company had yaken care of our flight from Delhi, hotels, car and guide. This tour had left us with a lifetime of memories.

Business Trip Detour - Worth It!
The tour was amazing and the team catered the day to my scheduling and interests. I was a little uneasy about being a solo, female traveler but 5 Senses and Vivek were able to erase all of those concerns by picking me up directly at the hotel and ensuring safe spaces throughout the day. The Taj Mahal experience was incredible with Rajul as our local guide, sharing exactly the right amount of information about the history and the local area. Vivek insisted on a photographer, which I wasn’t super happy about as I hate being in pictures, but he knew better and was totally right that they were needed to really capture the moment. We also visited a local artisan shop where they shared the amazing history of their craft and family. Be careful if you have extra time to shop, it could get dangerous in here will all of their beautiful items for purchase :). We had a wonderful local lunch and went on to Fort Agra which was the perfect way to close out the story of the Taj Mahal and the local history. I definitely recommend enduring the longer car ride from Delhi to Agra if you have the free day and have never seen the Taj Mahal. It’s worth it!

          Charming Old Delhi
My second tour with Five senses tours was equally fascinating. We did a tour of Old Delhi which is steeped in history. The local food stalls were amazing. The Mughal period monuments were fascinating specimens of architecture. The company had arranged pick and drop and send a clean car. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour t every visitor to Delhi ro appreciate its true heritage.

Tremendous experience, thanks largely to Balwinder and 5senses. The guide cleared the way through crowds and I always felt safe. Few tourists visit these towns (in august) but I believe that will change. The hilltop temple in Haridwar has dirty floors and requires visitors to be barefoot but the experience is worth it. Balwinder was able to get tickets to bypass the queue for the tram. I enjoyed being in nature for the Beatles ashram, despite a brief rainstorm. The evening aarti and experience of witnessing the pilgrims performing their traditions in the Ganga impacted me a great deal. The food and staff at the hotel were terrific, especially the pandit and yoga instructor. Wear orange to fit in if you’d like to.

This was a fantastic 2 days in the Himalayas. We visited 2 towns, Hardwar and Rishikesh and both were very beautiful in their own ways. The highlight was ofcourse visiting the ashram where Beatles learnt Yoga. We also enjoyed the incredible Himalayan scenery and rivers. The yoga session in Rishikesh in an Ashram will be in memory for a long time to come! IF you have 2 days in Delhi, this is the best thing to do to escape from the chaos and noise of Delhi!
