Visiting Red Fort from inside. Our first stop would be at Red Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site;it was built by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the year 1639, which is better known as replica of Red Fort of Agra. Delhi’s red Fort was residence of Mughals for nearly 200 years. During the revolt of 1857, the last Mughal Emperor was trailed in this fort and then exiled to Yangon (Formerly known as Rangoon).The red sandstone work and the vastness of the entire place is bound to mesmerise you and awestruck you. The beautiful parts of red Fort are Rang Mahal (Color Palace), Diwane- E- Aam (Normal Audience Hall) and Diwane-e- Khas (Private audience Hall).Red Fort has been witness of not only Mughal Empire, but also of British Empire. On every Independence Day, the Prime Minister hoists a flag at the main gate and delivers a nationally broadcasted speech, since the independence of India was declared officially on 15th August 1947 here.

While walking through the lanes in the morning hours of Old Delhi,with no hustle bustle of traffic, Old Delhi would give you a more bonhomie feeling and within minutes we would be at our next vantage point Gurudwara SisGanj sahib. The word “sis” translates to head and legend says that this place is a tribute to the ninth guru of Sikh community guru Teg Bahadur, who was beheaded in the same place. Visit largest Spice Market of Asia in Old Delhi. You would experience Indian flavours just by entering into the spice market, which is famous for welcoming the tourists with aroma. Spice Market or better known Khari Baoli is the largest spice market of Asia. You can decode the reason here, why India has been always referred as the land of spices.Spice traders are running their family business for last seven-eight generations. Wander around the spice market and explore, how each shop tells history.

Stop At: Jain Temple Ancient , Naughara, Kinari Bazar, Katra Shah N Shah, Old Delhi, New Delhi, Delhi 110006, India

We shall thenhead toNau-Ghara, where we will go through narrow lanes by rickshaw (a three wheeled vehicle operated by man). The Naughara word translates to nine mansions, which were built for the royal Jain jewellers and today out of nine, only two remain. The colourful houses with carving windows and small decorated doors flaunt the rich taste and heritage of then Emperor. Besides,you will visit here 500 years old Jain Temple. Emperor Shah Jahan rebuilt this Jain Temple just to honour his royal jewellers. The GaliNaughara is an oasis of tranquillity amongst the hustle bustle of busy streets of Chandni Chowk. We shall now move towards Jama Mosque.

Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India

Jama Mosque is the largest mosque here in India. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan between the years 1649 to 1656, this mosque accommodates 25000 people at a time. Red sandstone and marble again depict Shah Jahan’s immense love for Persian architecture. The three dome structure is a wide open space with beautiful calligraphy upon its walls, the minarets are then times skyscrapers that give you a bird eye-view of the city. We would let you explore the very last stop of our itinerary after which it'd be time to bid adieu.
