About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Luddington0 contributions5* Golden Triangle ExperienceFrom the moment I enquired about a guided trip of the Golden Triangle, I got the best service. I dealt directly with Sonia, the owner of the company. The organisation of our itinerary was impeccable. The instructions were clear and concise and we were kept appraised of everything by WhatsApp constantly. We travelled from England to Delhi and from the moment we were met at the airport, everything went like clockwork. Our driver Ram was fantastic and made us feel special. The car was a brand new SUV, air conditioned with new car smell and leather seats. Ram kept the car pristine and chose modern and clean stop off points for coffee and snacks. The tours themselves were well thought through and not too punishing. We had 4 platinum standard guides who all spoke excellent English and gave tour talks that brought the history alive. There was nothing they could have done to make our journey and holiday more comfortable and interesting - I would highly recommend themWritten 12 September 2024
- Paul F0 contributionsA Joyful Golden Triangle Trip organised by Joyful HolidaysGolden Triangle Trip organised by Joyful Holidays was excellent. All enquiries answered promptly. Parveen our driver was very good & helpful at all times. The guides were well versed in all historical facts. Jaipur guide particularly good & enthusiast. Pick up & drop off at Airport made easy by Sonia. ITC Hotels were clean & food excellent in Jaipur & Agra. I would highly recommend Leela Ambience Convention Hotel in Delhi. A bit of distance from Airport, but well worth the extra effort.Written 15 August 2024
- sunkauyung0 contributionsAmazing tour of IndiaWe have just returned from a wonderful India Tour (5 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore) with Joyful Holidays. Sonia (founder) and her team put together a well organised tour of New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Ranthambore for me and my wife. Joyful Holidays is different from other Indian Tour companies is that it is run by an amazing team of women. Originally designed to cater for women only, they have now expanded our to also include families and mixed groups. The 5 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore tour included 5-star hotel accommodation, experience local guides in each city, and with a dedicated driver for the whole tour. We highly recommend upgrading to the larger vehicle Innova Crysta car which makes the journey time between cities fly by. The highlight of the tour is of course the incredible Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, and a bucket list for everyone. When booking your trip with Joyful Holidays we recommend adding on a traditional Indian massage in Jaipur (recommended by our driver Prakash), and also a few hours at a local street market in New Delhi (Sarojini Nagar Market). The best hotels we stayed at were the Trident Hotels and I would especially recommend the Trident in Agra – the best customer experience at a hotel we have experience in the world - amazing!! I can confirm that Joyful Holidays are trustworthy and you’re in very safe hands with Sonia and her team of ladies.Written 6 August 2024
- carstenh3060 contributionsGood tour, great peoplePraveen was our driver, and Sonia was our organizer, and we where very impressed with both of them and the way they received us, treated us and helped us. It's so important, especially in India, to have good honest and professional people who can help you, guide, and advice you, and these two is welcome to be my guides anytime. I had a very good time, and it was very beautiful places and exciting stories.Written 31 July 2024
- janhugol0 contributionsRajasthan round trip incl Agra. The tour was amazing, we visited many cities and two wild life sanctuaries in Rajasthan. First day we did only Delhi and coming 11 days we covered over 2000 km from Delhi via Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur and visited Jawai and Ranthambore national parks. First day we were very happy with the guide Vivek who showed and explained for us the important sights in Delhi. Even though this was not our first trip to Delhi we got to know a lot of interesting history. We also had very good local guides in other cities during trip. All the time Joyful travels were responsive and helped us under way. Mr Parveen the driver was very helpful explaning a lot of daily life in India and took us safe around for the whole drive. We really will recommend Joyful travels and Ms Sonia Handa. We had a very personal and wonderful experience.Written 21 July 2024

- JoG01_uk0 contributionsGreat sight seeing in delhiAnother fabulous trip arranged by Sonia and her team. I did a great half day picking up some of the sites of Adeline have not seen before. Vivek was my guide and was fabulous - I am a history buff and he was able to give me all of the details I wanted about the places we went, he was also really patient with me taking photos and helped me find some of the best spots. - Jet180790660750 contributionsHands Down the Best Travel Experience I've HadI am so beyond happy that I had the chance to experience a tour through Joyful Holidays. We were taken such good care of by both the tour guides but especially by our tour bus driver, Shankar Uncle. We had a phenomenonal time from our rickshaw ride through old delhi, safari ride in ranthambore (where we saw 2 Tigers!), to our tour of the Amer Fort in Jaipur. We even had the opportunity to visit local shops and meet families whose members have been perfecting their crafts (including rug making from wool in Kashmir to block printing) and were so honored to have them share their art with us. I could not recommend this company enough. This was a trip I'll never forget. Not to mention, I didn't have to lift a finger to plan anything since joyful holidays literally took care of EVERYTHING. It made traveling way less stressful.Written 25 June 2024
- Dreamer284296381880 contributionsTrip of a LifetimeThis tour was well planned and organized and we had an absolute blast! We did and saw A LOT and stayed in great hotels with awesome service and beautiful rooms. The food was delicious and there were lots of great choices for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Our tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and took great care of us. Most importantly, our driver, Shankar, was really great— he was always ready to pick us up, took great care of our luggage, always had cold waters and hand sanitizer ready for us, and was a great driver! It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing we never had to worry about transportation because it was all taken care of. My favorite part of the trip was the safari in Ranthambore! We saw multiple tigers, as well as wild peacocks, peahens, nilgai, mongoose, jackals, egrets, colorful birds, monkeys, and more! The monuments were beautiful and our guides knew where all the best photo spots were as well! India has such rich culture, fascinating history, talented artisans, delicious cuisine, and so much more. We made memories that we will carry with us forever. Thank you to Ms. Sonia and her awesome team of women at Joyful Holidays for making my first trip to India a phenomenal experience. I can’t wait to come back!Written 25 June 2024

- sanjay d0 contributionsHow many trip to India with Joyful holidays.I recently went on a trip to India with Joyful Holidays, and I must say it was an incredible experience! Sonia, the owner of the company, has done a fantastic job of creating a travel company that not only provides employment opportunities for women but also ensures that every detail of the trip is taken care of. Throughout our journey in New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Varanasi, Sonia was constantly in touch with us, making sure everything was perfectly coordinated. She even arranged for food during our flights to and from Varanasi. The drivers and tour guides she organized for us were not only friendly and punctual but also treated us like family. They truly made us feel welcome in India. The trip to India with Joyful Holidays included the cities of New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Varanasi. These cities offered a diverse and enriching experience, allowing us to explore the vibrant culture, historical landmarks, and spiritual essence of India. Each city had its own tour guide, and they were all amazing. They suggested fantastic restaurants along the way, allowing us to indulge in the delicious culinary delights of India. The hotels Sonia arranged were also excellent, providing us with comfort throughout our trip. I must give a special shoutout to Praveen, our driver, who was not only kind and caring but also became a great friend. He was very attentive throughout our tour and we had great conversation with him getting to know him and a little bit about his family. Along the way, he suggested restaurants for us to eat and gave us a lot of insight into India. He just made our trip experience extremely enjoyable. Even now as we are home, my kids, and I think of Praveen and reminisce about the great times we had touring with him through India. Vivek, our tour guide in New Delhi, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He knew a lot about the monuments in New Delhi and also arranged for a great tuk tuk ride through the streets of Chandi Chowk, a vibrant bustling shopping venue in New Delhi. he provided us with great background information in history on all the places that we visited in New Delhi. Truly great having him as a tour guide. Shiv, our guide in Jaipur, made us feel right at home, and like Vivek, was extremely knowledgeable of all the places that we went to see. Even when a couple of issues arose with traffic and congestion at certain sites, both Praveen and Vivek quickly rearranged the itinerary so that we could maximize our experience . In Agra, we had the pleasure to tour with Raj, and in Varanasi, we had TJ. Both of them were incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of these beautiful cities. Sonia also organized a memorable excursion to an elephant sanctuary, where we got to interact with these magnificent animals and learn about their conservation. We even had the opportunity to enjoy home-cooked meals with locals, experiencing the true hospitality of India. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Sonia and her team at Joyful Holidays for providing us with such an amazing and heartwarming experience. If you're planning a trip to India, I highly recommend booking with them. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!Written 13 April 2024
- Carolyn S0 contributionsSingle Female Traveler’s First Visit to IndiaThis was a wonderful experience as a single female traveler from NY. The tour company is female led and the owner Sonia gave special attention to details and coordination. You’re on the road quite a bit with 3-6 hour traveling day to day and 2 days start at 5:30-5:45am. I opted for the 5 star hotel stays. Manage your expectations as a 5 star in India is not equivalent to 5 star in NY or Dubai. It’s more like 4 star but very much still worth it. The Driver Shiva was AMAZING! He was professional, respectful, calm with reckless drivers on the road, communicates in English well and I felt safe with him at all times. Highly recommend Shiva for single female travel! I had 3 tour guides of which 2 receive honorable mention; Vivic in New Delhi was knowledgeable, great sense of humor, engaging and a good photographer. Rajesh Parashar in Jaipur was also knowledgeable with great understanding of history and astronomy. It was a pleasure learning from him.Written 6 April 2024
- hayleysW9268RA0 contributionsOld Dehli ExperienceThis tour is perfect for anyone looking to experience the non-tourist side of Dehli! During my tour we spent the time walking around the streets of Old Dehli (which I would not suggest doing alone as a tourist). We got to see the fruit market, spice market, and textile market. You are on your feet quite a lot but at the end the driver offers you nice cool water so you feel refreshed.Written 2 April 2024
