About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Mum19570 contributionsCorny and boringWaste of money. Most of our group fell asleep! Translation is through headphones, which is quite difficult to hear. Colourful costumes.Written 13 March 2025
- SUDIPTA19690 contributionsBeyond the traditional Idli/Vada/Dosa/ PongalThey have revolutionsed the concept of South Indian cuisine. It's a thoroughly NEW concept of South Indian platter. I believe, the modifications are the results of diligent experimentation and intelligent innovation of the Chefs. Hats off to them. Those of us for whom "South Indian" dishes mean Dosa/Idli/Vada/Sambar/ Pongal only , would be in for a pleasant surprise. Portion sizes are moderate and the 13 course meal we opted for was enough for moderate eaters like us. Big eaters can go for the higher option. Fixed time slots ( of 90 mts) are allotted to customers based on availability - so it's better to book your table beforehand. 13 course dinner for three members cost us around Rs 13000/. The staff are polite and courteous and would patiently explain each and every food item as they are served. Yes, your favourite Dosa is also there as part of the 13 course menu but in a totally totally different avtar that would marvel you. Same with Rasam. But why hear more from me? Just book your table and see for yourself.Written 26 February 2025
- 727sharond0 contributionsNice place but watch the scammersNice place . The park and lake are nice. Interesting very old temple. There are fruit bats in the trees. There is a family asking for chapatis outside the gate to the area and park. Don't get scammed by them. There is a revolving bag of rusks being sold by one of the stall holder for 180 rupees. I got caught then I watched the proceedings 🤔🤪Written 24 February 2025
- michellekF3133FN0 contributionsRelaxing in gorgeous surroundings with fantastic foodThis is a hidden away paradise situated on the banks of the Kerala Backwaters. You are picked up by boat to cross to an island where there are seven individual cottages with a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. The food is exquisite, the best we had on our whole trip to India. It is made mostly from produce grown on their farm, including. dairy products from their own cows. The family made us feel so welcome from the moment we approached the landing till the moment they waved us goodbye. A highlight was the sunset punt trip where we saw the local fishermen setting out their nets.Written 19 February 2025
- DanailaM0 contributionsJust a new templeWe didn't do enough research and ended up travelling long distance to the temple, to find put that it's a new temple with no spirit, I'm afraid. We did a small ceremony, water pouring over the statuette of the Akshardham, which we haven't done before. But the music and the singing came from a CD. Don't recommend it.Written 15 February 2025

- Quest344957458810 contributionsWell worth it!We partook in the evening cookery class with Mr Singh and his chef. This was a highlight of our trip and our teenage son was really looking forward to this experience. We first set off to the vegetable and spice markets so learn about the foods used in our dishes and where they came from, negotiating the Jaipur traffic which was an experience in itself! We then took a short Tuk Tuk ride back to the homestay, where we cooked up dishes and then partook in a meal of our dishes. This was a really insightful and pleasant evening which we enjoyed immensely.Written 25 November 2024
