      A delightful introduction to Holi
The Holi Celebration with Tastesutra was the highlight of my trip to India! We had so much fun, learned so much about Indian culture, and worked off our lunch with some fabulous dancing. Highly recommend this if you are in Delhi during Holi!

      A wonderful food experience!
A group of 9 of us enjoyed a wonderful day with Anchal and her colleagues. A problem with the electricity in the street proved no obstacle to her as we still learned loads about the creation of spiced dishes. While we came away with a number of recipes the most valuable thing for me was learning how to ‘build’ a dish and understanding which spices to use and the timing of their introduction . That way we had a foundation to adapt our own dishes.

Best Indian Food I Ever Had
Sonal did an incredible job showing how to prepare homestyle cooked Indian Food. The best I ever tasted, and it was even better since I prepared ithe multiple courses on my own. In fact, I am home a week later and am already going to try two of the recipes this week.

      Incredible experience!
Doing a cooking class in Dehli was hands down our best experience in India. We learned so much about the spices, traditional cooking methods, and daily eating in India. We would highly recommend this to anyone who loves food and wants a truly unique travel experience. Thank you so much!

      Fun and really tasty experience!
From the explanation of the spices and Indian cuisine, to the making of the food and eating, everything was perfect! It tasted really good, even better than in many restaurants! The process of making food was enjoyable, especially that we made everything from scratch. Most importantly: it is easy to replicate at home! I absolutely recommend this class if you want to better understand Indian cuisine, other types of cuisines or just have fun! Many thanks to Tastesutra.

      Great experience
Everything was great, from preparation, explanations, being fully hands-on, and of course the food. The two women running it are vey kind and knowledgeable and explain every step clearly to permit easy replication. Highly recommended regardless if during tourist stay or after months of eating Indian food.

      Fun, informative and delicious!
Prenja (I'm sure my spelling is wrong) made it easy to prepare 5 Indian dishes, each really delicious. I did the cooking, she guided me throughout. The classroom was cheerful, clean and well equipped. Her teaching was the standout. Our market tour was great fun - you may want to linger. I was the only student who signed up that day. Class could have been cancelled, but no, I had a private lesson! I received the recipes we made and more within a week of the class, as promised. I took a tuk-tuk there, but the driver got me near, not there. I asked directions several times...arrive early. Tastesutra is immediately across from the metro line

Celebrate Diwali with a local family - just amazing!
I booked "Celebrate Diwali with a local family" in Delhi which took place at the home of the owner of Tastesutra. The celebration itself lasted for 3-4 hours. About 15 people booked that event and we got to join the family in doing the final decorations for Diwali, the praying rituals and afterwards eating dinner with them. All in all a great experience and highly recommended!

      Perfect Cooking Course!
Anchal was the perfect host - warm and welcoming as if she saw us as not just students, but family members. Her cooking studio is perfectly designed for demonstrations and her delivery of information and instruction was clear, articulate and captivating. We enjoyed our time there so thoroughly we even considered repeating the course! Sending additional recipes and photos after the event concluded was unexpected but very appreciated.

Diwali celebration with tastesutra is a must
recently had the pleasure of celebrating diwali hosted by tastesutra in a beautiful home in the suburbs of new delhi. alongside several other guests we decorated the house with rangoli, enjoyed an incredible puja ritual, and ate some fantastic food. Superb experience for us girls
Our chef was fantastic, very easy to speak with, extremely knowledgeable, the class went at a nice steady pace and I felt like I was learning the whole time - I took two pages’ of notes which I needn’t have because they have emailed me the recipes any who. It really was a fun, vibrant and educational morning out with a trip to the market afterwards to buy spices, now we understood what they were for! Indian cuisine is superb and don’t miss an opportunity to learn more about how they have so much delicious variety in their diet. Tastesutra was a highlight of New Delhi trip - snuck out of my conference for a few hours to do it. Worth it!

      Cooking and market visit
We had a wonderful day at Tastesutra. We started with an introduction and education on spices and cooking with lots of tips on home cooking. We then prepared and ate a delicious meal and were given insights into how local families eat and prepare food day to day. Finally we toured the local market. As this is not a tourist market it allowed us to see local life including understanding the street food on offer and buying our own spices. A really interesting fun and well thought out day.

      Best Cooking Class in Delhi
This is the best cooking class offered in Delhi for sure. Fantastic setting and kitchen set-up (very colourful and comfortable). Anchal and her staff go above and beyond to make the experience fan and informative. The recipes are all traditional and absolutely delicious. I've done online classes with Taste Sutra as well as in-person and I loved both experiences. I'll be back!

      A highlight to be savoured!
This was great fun and informative too - a great end to our VJV tour. Anchal has made a successful business out of traditional skills. Despite our initial reticence she got the whole group engaged in making curries and breads, and we learned lots of tips to put into practice at home, supported by a large number of recipes which were emailed to us afterwards. The basis of a book, maybe. If you’re in Delhi and have an evening to spare, do this - you won’t regret it! A real highlight to be savoured in every sense.

Excellent last night in Delhi in the company of Anchal as part of our Jules Verne holiday. Looking forward to trying some of the recipes that were kindly sent on and definitely one of the better meals of the entire holiday.

Thank you Tastesutra for the excellent cooking class. Due to coronavirus we were the only attendees, but the class went ahead. We learned a huge amount about Indian cooking through practical demonstrations and clear explanations. The kitchen is spacious and professional, it's the perfect space for teaching. We finished the class by eating our cooking, and it's a testament to the quality of teaching that the food was delicious. Our teacher Sunal was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended, great experience.

Amazing! This was one of our highlights during our month in India. Anchal was so warm and welcoming. She is a passionate cook and a gifted teacher. The location doesn’t look like much from the street; but inside was very hygienic and quite lovely. We had our 4 kids (ages 9-16) and they absolutely loved the hands on experience. Anchal even invited our family to return later to help her on a Saturday morning make 300 meals for street children which she voluntarily donates to a non-profit. We got so much more than just a cooking class; we got a friend for life. She’s truly a modern day saint. We are already planning our next trip to India with friends so they too can have this experience.

We did the 5 course cooking class and meal, followed by a walk through the local market. After spending about a month and a half exploring all over India, I can honestly say our Tastesutra cooking class with Anchal was one of my absolute favorite experiences!! Do not miss it! Anchal makes this class both super fun and accessible to all levels! Her "this is how I would make this for my family" cooking style makes the recipes easily replicable so you truly can make them at home! This class comes with a wealth of knowledge about spices, their profiles, cooking traditional Indian meals, recipes to go home with, candid photos, a full belly, and more. Not only that, but she has mastered and beautified the art of sustainability in her business. Her heart is fully felt when you are in her studio:) A truly wonderful experience!

Traveling with friends and they coordinated a cooking event for 42 of us. It was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. The decoration was beyond this world, the food was delicious (mind you that I don’t eat spicy and the spices were ON POINT) and the entertainment was fantastic. The most majestic experience of Indian cuisine.

This class was absolutely fun and informative and was a great was to learn more about Indian cooking, especially home-style. The food was delicious and the tips and techniques show that it's possible to create delicious, multi course, Indian meals in under an hour.

The spice walk-through also goes a long way to set the foundation for all Indian cooking.

    Highly Recommended.

That was a great cooking morning! I definitely recommend to come by while you're in Delhi. Even for such a beginners as me and my fiancée, the usage of Indian spices now makes sense. And what a great list of recipes that we received to try later at home.
    Thank you again :)

My husband and I really enjoyed the cooking class. I especially appreciated the lesson in spices, so it also gave us a good foundation in furthering our ability to expand our recipes after the class. All the recipes we made were simple (and therefore we are more likely to make them again at home), healthy, and tasted delicious. The instructions were clear and the class was at a good pace. I would highly recommend this class to others.

Anchali, host and chef is warm and welcoming and makes the whole experience a joy. Dishes are simple to make but complex in taste and totally delicious. Often on cooking classes like this you leave full of enthusiasm but unsure of how to recreate the menu in your own home but not with Tastesutra. I will definitely be whipping up the dishes we made. It was a great way to meet other people as well. Well worth joining up.

I made a late reservation and had the priviledge of a solo cooking class with Tastesutra. it was an excellent hands-on cooking class including many dishes, tea, chapati and parantha. The lesson was detailed, experiential and left me feeling confident that i could make these dishes on my own. If you gave the interest I would recommend this lesson to anyone.

One of my best experiences in Delhi. Anchal was able to explain everything in detail, like how spices are used and when to use them. She is also very professional and very helpful. She answers all my questions patiently.

I like that her studio also has upcycled decours and it feels very homey. Until our next class!
