This was my first time traveling solo and my first time in India. I couldn’t have felt more safe and taken care of. The company was very communicative and let me change my pick up time at the last minute. My driver Ajit Kumar showed up in a very clean comfortable car stocked with water and snacks. Ajit was so friendly and informative on our drive from Delhi to Agra. We had a great chat about Hindu culture and traditions. Ajit was an excellent driver which can’t be easy in India!! My guide for the day was Vikram. He was incredible. He got me to the front of a very long line. Vikram has so much knowledge of the history and architecture of the area. He’s passionate about what he does which made for a great tour. Vikram took some great photos for me which I really appreciated. I will be asking for Vikram personally when I bring my family back.

We initially contacted Uday at DIPT with an outline of a tour and he helped shape this with some excellent suggestions and added some suggested add ons such as an elephant ride, cooking class and street food tour. We finalised this with Uday via email and I booked the hotels separately albeit would do this through DIPT next time as I think they could obtain much better rates. Final payment was made about 3 days into the tour via Wise. We were picked up from the airport and thoroughly looked after throughout by our driver Ramesh. The car was clean, spacious and air conditioned. Free water, snacks and wifi were available until we were final dropped back to Delhi airport. In my case Ramesh went out of his way to find Pepsi Black! The only additional payments made were for temples, monuments etc that on the gate - these places only take cash and the most expensive was about £13 equivalent but usually £5-6. Our trip comprised Delhi 3 nights, Agra 1 night, Jaipur 3 nights, Udaipur 3 nights, Jodhpur 3 nights, Delhi 1 night. We flew from Jodhpur to Delhi to save the 10 hour drive. Drives between cities varied from 3-6 hours. We had a guide for 1 day in each city and the car available to us 24/7. Highlights were sunset at the back of the Taj Mahal followed next morning by sunrise at the front coupled with a visit inside with a very experienced guide; the Red fort at Agra; staying at the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur and at The Claridges in Delhi. The street food tour at Chandni Chowk and old city walk through Jodhpur were also fun. Our driver Ramesh was a very experienced,confident and competent driver which is crucial when navigating through trucks, buses, cars, tuk tuks, cows, dogs, goats and people. For those travelling further afield he can also cover Shimla and Nepal.Uday kept in touch every fews days in a non-obtrusive manner to check all was okay. I would absolutely recommend this firm. There prices are reasonable, the vehicle (I think a Toyota Innova?) Very fit for purpose and above all the service ethic and delivery first class. Above all we felt safe and looked after at all times.

Our driver Mr Ombeer Singh was cheerful, helpful, attentive and always willing to take us wherever we wanted to go. He was very informative and recommended some interesting stops that we didn’t have on our itinerary. He found us knowledgeable guides for each of our day tours and helped us find new foods to try and good places to eat regional specialties. The car was clean, and always stocked with water and snacks. He was a safe driver not taking unnecessary risks. We had a lovely trip and would highly recommend his services.

Highly recommend DIPT for first-timers to India - they took care of our family (2 adults & 1 child) from airport pickup all the way to drop-off! We opted to have our tour planner Diya take care of the itinerary and hotel bookings. Our driver was Mr. Nawal, who was an excellent driver and very professional throughout. He was always ready with cold water, car snacks, and even joined in some of our in-car games to pass the time while on the highway. :) The car itself was new and quite comfortable to seat a family of three + 2 big luggage (Suzuki Ertiga). We toured the Golden Triangle - Agra, Jaipur and Delhi plus a stop at Fatehpur Sikri. There was a guide for each. Expect to stop at a local crafts shop for each area - no obligation to purchase but you might have to listen to a sales spiel. As this is common for tours even outside India we didn't have an issue with it. Special shout-out to our Agra guide Mr. Mukesh, and our Jaipur guide, Mr. Himanshu Kumar Trivedi. Mr. Himanshu was very kind and patient with our child explaining things and entertaining him with stories about a leopard in Amber Fort. :) Overall, highly recommend DIPT for fuss-free travel with family!

Excellent service. Mr Ajit Kumar was our driver who took great care of us. He was very helpful n cooperative. I was travelling with my two kids -10 & 7. He was quite supportive and made our journey comfortable.The entire process of booking to driving to site seeing was hassle-free.

Part 3 of our great ten-day tour was an amazing day in Agra. Agra has many great places to visit but the Taj Mahal sunrise tour was an absolute highlight of our whole trip. It just takes your breath away with its beauty and craftmanship. Vikram was a wonderfully enthusiastic, attentive guide with great knowledge and passion for his work. We spent a wonderful morning exploring the Taj Mahal and afternoon at the amazing Red Fort and Baby Taj. Vikram went above and beyond arranging a birthday cake for a member of our party on our first night. It was a wonderful surprise. Mr Om our wonderful driver, transported us to Agra Junction to catch the night train to Varanasi. He stayed with us for well over an hour to help us navigate the station, the tickets the porters and to get us on to the correct train. He was a terrific driver.

DIPT made our first trip to India so easy. I simply sent Uday an email with our dates and what we wanted to see and left the rest up to him and he provided a full 11 day itinerary for us. We opted to have Uday arrange our hotels too and opted for 5 star hotels... if you tried to book them myself, you realise DIPT is a very good value option as well. We stayed at Taj chain hotels in every place and they are really quite nice hotels. Sushil was our driver and he was fantastic, from meeting us at the airport to dropping us at the final airport 11 days later. His driving was smooth despite the chaos, always on time with cold water and a smile. Every tour guide actually commented on how good his driving was. I would say the extra cost for the bigger car, even with just 2 people, was well worth it as it was so comfy. Our guides in Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Agra were all great - I believe they are all kind of 'sub-contracted' and do their own tours also. The only drawback of a tour guide, and it seems all throughout India, is the visit to a gem maker (who sells gems), a rug maker (who sells rugs) etc etc...but the benefits are navigating all the must see things and actually learning the history behind the places. I will also say - I prompted our guides in each city with what food I wanted for lunch and the places we were taken were actually fantastic (and I have reviewed them individually also). So in short: DIPT was easy to deal with, made our trip zero hassle, was cost effective and their staff were all great. Thank you all so much.

Vikram Singh gave us a great tour of historic sites in Agra including the Taj Mahal , Agra fort, and Itimaud-ud-duala. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the area and monuments, made our day-tour a seamless experience including great food, recommended sites, flexibility. and was overall a friendly and helpful tour guide and host. Highly recommended!

I booked a driver from New Delhi Airport to Agra. The driver Mr. Sachin was very professional, an excellent driver with long experience, a good advisor, very reserved, and polite, the driver that everyone would like to have, I recommend Mr. Sachin for your trip around North India.

We had a fantastic trip around Golden Triangle - Ajit was our driver, spoke good English, very knowledgeable and welcoming. Was a safe driver - always felt secure despite the busy traffic in India with a comfortable and well air conditioned ride with bottled water available. Was always early and prompt at picking up from destinations. Was very accomodating when we fell victim to Delhi Belly! Daily tour guides around sites separate to driver are provided.

We travelled with DIPT from Delhi, through Jaipur, Agra and Varanasi on an eight-day private tour. Mr Uday from DIPT did a wonderful job coordinating our itinerary, guides and drivers for this fantastic family holiday. His excellent coordination, communication and advice ensured a trouble-free trip. He coordinated wonderful guides in each city that catered for the diverse interests and needs of our party. Our driver, Mr. Om delivered absolutely fantastic service. A personable character, he was open and friendly, no ask was too much trouble, he was always on time (actually, he was always early) so we were never left waiting and he was very adaptable when our plans changed. The quality of his driving was superb, we always felt safe with Mr. Om at the wheel. When one of us celebrated a birthday on the trip he went above and beyond by gifting some flowers, it was such a kind and touching gesture. We are so grateful to have had Mr. Om as our driver and would absolutely recommend him and DIPT.

Originally we’d planned to travel by train and manage our own trip. Booking this service however added such value to our trip and gave us memories which will last a lifetime. Our driver, Nawal, was a delight and such a kind and patient man. His car was always clean, well stocked with cold water and had Wi-Fi. His driving was impeccable and he was always available to support us. Vikram was our guide in Agra. He was full of energy, so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We learnt so much about Agra, the history of the Taj Mahal and fort, Indian culture and craft. We had a stand out moment at the Taj Mahal thanks to him. Hemanshu was our guide in Jaipur and again gave us such interesting insights to the city, history and culture. We had another stand out moment attending the aarti at Amber Fort thanks to him The service as a whole was professional, well organised and we very much appreciated the added depth it gave our trip. Well worth the money!

I took part to a private tour with 2 other friends in September 2023. We had a very comfortable pick up from the airport and a very nice half day in Delhi with the kind and fun Shushil, and then proceeded to spend the following 11 days with our driver Nand. Both of the drivers were very careful on the road (amazing driving skills considering the Indian traffic) and had very comfortable and clean cars. Nand spent many days with us and was always kind, attentive, professional and always tried his best to accommodate our needs and wishes for the trip, he even gave us restaurants recommendations and useful advices for sightseeing. His car was always kept extremely clean and the seats were so comfortable we took a lot of naps during the trips and he always provided cold water for us. We even had Wi-Fi in the car! All considered we would definitely recommend this service!

Had a great tour during G20. Our driver, Ajit, did an excellent job for us and found ways to make this tour interesting, even with several of the listed locations on the itinerary closed. For us, the highlight of the trip was Old Delhi. I wouldn't hesitate to book this again. They did a great job.
