- 181lilianq0 contributionsThe only way to travel to IndiaIt was amazing experience. Hotels were perfect, guides were awesome. Driver surprised us being super welcoming and respectful. Me and my friend as female solo travelers were a bit concerned about safety, but ALL exceed expectations. (Ask for Prithi if is possible) The only way I’ll recommend to travel to India is with this tour. I’ve travelled all over the world and I think this is the first time I’ve book a full tour, and was amazingWritten 29 August 2024
- Roam442895937380 contributionsWonderfull experienceWe (family, 2 kids, 15y, 12 y) had a wonderfull, hassle free, 5 day golden triangle tour. We saw many very beautiful sites. We did a private tour . We had a good spacious AC car . With a nice friendly, good English speaking driver. The local guides were friendly and good English speaking. We requested not to visit shops on the way. (So hassle free. ) At the end we visited some shops of our choice. We had 5 star hotels witch were very good. They had a huge continental and Indian breakfast buffet. We didn't have any problems. There was always someone available if you would have problems. We do recommand this organisation for a wonderfull trip.Written 28 August 2024
- Excursion3953900 contributionsA last minute change makes a great trip truly spectacular! Our 5 day trip with Crystal India was wonderful! We spent the most of our time with Surinder, our driver who was a true gentleman, always on time and friendly. He taught us a lot about Indian culture and politics during our long drives together. The guides - Pinky, Pradeep and Pratik - were all very good, friendly and professional. Each guide was particular to one city, so they were specialists in that city, giving lots of historic and current cultural information. A pro-tip that I would give other travelers is that the Taj Mahal is closed to visitors on Fridays. When I planned our trip I didn’t know this, and the day that we were supposed to see the Taj at sunrise ended up on Friday. Instead we would have to see the Taj in the late afternoon on Thursday during the highest heat and crowds, which was not congruent with the way the itinerary had been presented to us. When I realized this, it was fairly early in the morning on the 2nd day of the trip. I reached out to the owner Amit and within a few minutes he called back with 2 options for us to choose from that would allow us to move things around to optimize our schedule so that we could see the Taj at sunrise. We are most grateful for Amit’s willingness to make a change to our itinerary which likely took some engineering to do at the last minute. And the Taj at sunrise was absolutely spectacular! Another tip I would give is that there is an option to not go to the factory stores for marble, gems, and textiles that are part of the trip, unless you don’t have any other option for buying these items. The prices that these stores charge is much higher than you would be charged in the marketplace. In some cases we found that silk scarves and other textiles were very close to Western prices at those stores. Having the opportunity to shop at other markets, we found the same products at 1/3 to 1/4 of the prices of these “factory stores” that we were taken to by the tour company.Written 26 August 2024

- Jessica Z0 contributionsExcellent tripI booked the three day trip pretty much last minute. Pre-trip communications were very smooth and they also customised accordingly to our arrival and departure schedules without charging extra money. The driver was excellent and did more than we could possibly hope for although local guides were not so great, either difficult to understand due to strong accent or lack of enthusiasm. The hotels were fabulous and they even upgraded our room one night in Agra. Travelling in India can be quite chaotic. Our main destination is Sri Lanka, India was just a few days stop by. If you must travel in India, highly recommend to hire an agent to eliminate all unnecessary hassles. This agent did a fantastic job overall! On the other side, our experience tells travelling in Sri Lanka is a lot more relaxing and stress free.Written 18 August 2024

We took a two day one night tour of Agra & Jaipur with Crystal India Holidays. From the outset every aspect of the tour with this company has been stunning… Our driver, Surinder, has a terrific knowledge of the road network and safely navigated us throughout, not an easy task you’ll appreciate if you ever visit a city in India. Despite what we might view as chaotic, with Surinder we felt perfectly safe and he also gave us insight on poi’s & culture when travelling between city’s
Day 1 Tour of Agra with Mannish as our guide was fantastic with every need catered for, nothing was too much trouble and we received VIP treatment wherever we went.
Day 2 Guide in Jaipur was Sunny, again, encyclopaedic knowledge of this city and its tourist attractions was a delight to receive, and with great humour( everything’s funny with Sunny)
If you plan to visit any sights in India then a guide is a must….and when choosing a company or guide I can’t recommend Crystal India Holidays enough, it’s a minefield choosing who to go with but you’ll not be disappointed with these guys.

We only had two days to see Agra and Jaipur at the end of our India trip, so we signed up for this private trip. Everything went well, our driver Balbir picked us up on time at our hotel and drove safely the whole time. Our guides were knowledgable, they told us many interesting facts and stories about the sights we visited. The trip included some visits to handicraft workshops (textile-making, stone cutting etc.) where you can also buy the products, but it's not mandatory to buy anything, we also decided to skip one of them altogether.
All in all I would definitely recommend this trip, although if you have time, consider spending at least 1 or 2 more days exploring these beautiful cities.

Had a great time on this trip. Having the tour just to ourselves made all the difference, because we could go at our own pace and skip things that didn't interest us. It was so easy to book and everything went right as scheduled. The driver was great and we had a different guide meet up with our driver for each day that was an expert in the area while I driver stayed with the car, which made us feel better about leaving our suitcases in the car. We booked our own hotel with points and chose the option without the hotel included. I would highly recommend the Hilton Jaipur. Although we loved the Taj Mahal, our favorite part of the trip was the Amber Fort in Jaipur. Riding the elephants up to the fort wasn't included with the price of the tour but it was only a little more and it was fantastic.

Monu is a very good driver and even though we are not used to Indian traffic, we felt save and secure at any time. Any requests or questions he was happy to help us with.
The two local guides in Agra and Jaipur speak really good understandable German and took care of us in a good way. They also answered any questions we had and helped us with any queries.
It was a relaxed trip for us and still we saw a lot of different places and got a lot of interesting insights.

The tour was superb and enjoyable. Mr. Amit was very accommodating and available to discuss options that you want to explore. They embody the Indian maxim that the guest is god. We felt very safe, and everything went on smoothly, from the driver (Mr. Rajinder) of the car who took us from Delhi , Agra and Jaipur, to the accomodations arranged by the Company, the passionate and knowledgeable guides (Ronit and Kumawa), the restaurants that served very good and clean food. We will definitely book this company again for future visits to India.

I spent a lot of time on Trip Advisor finding a tour company for our Delhi; Agra; Jaipur visit. I read a lot of reviews and the reviews for Crystal India Holidays stood out in their consistency. Everyone's experience seemed excellent. I'm so thrilled to have chosen them. I can't say enough about this company. From my first contact over a chat line; to email exchanges tailor making our tours; to our exceptional driver, Sundeep, who was with us for the entire tour, to our excellent, informative guides in each city, who turned out to be photo experts in setting up great shots. The hotels were wonderful. The Jaypee Palace in Agra was stunning and made us almost willing to miss the Taj Mahal! You can't go wrong with this tour company. The owner is available by phone. The can happily and willingly accommodate all your requests.

I booked this tour a month before my trip for $300 USD without hotels or meals and with monument entrances to Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daula, Amber Palace, City Palace of Jaipur, and Jantar Mantar Jaipur.
I was picked up at my hotel in central New Delhi at 8:00 (September 2023) in a nice, well-kept, air-conditioned, and spacious car. The driver drove me safely to Agra where I met my guide, Sanjay. Immediately, there was a bit of confusion, as both the driver and guide told me I had to pay for all monument entrance fees. Luckily, I had kept screenshots from when I booked, where it clearly stated that the ticket prices were included. This seems to have been changed since then to now be explicitly excluded. After a few calls to the operator, they sorted it out and I did not have to pay any additional ticket prices.
Throughout the day, my guide gave me helpful information, was kind, and helped me take plenty of good pictures.
The first stop was at the Taj Mahal, 11:20. We then headed to Agra Fort, 12:50. The driver then started driving towards Jaipur, and only after I enquired, told me they were about to skip Itmad-ud-Daula, because “it’s quite small”. Fortunately, I did not have to say much, and we turned around and visited the “Baby Taj”, 13:50. About half an hour later, the Agra guide was dropped off and we headed towards Jaipur. On the way, we stopped briefly at a road-side restaurant, though I skipped lunch, opting to wait for dinner at the nice hotel I had booked.
I am glad to say that there was no problem at all with booking my own hotel in Jaipur, and the driver dropped me off at the Devi Ratn at 18:45.
Another positive note was the possibility to opt out of any shop or factory tour beforehand, as asked by the operator via WhatsApp the day before. I did so, and this was well-respected by both guides, who also helped defend me from any road-side sellers and such.
The next day, I was picked up at the Jaipur hotel at 8:00, met up with my guide Kumar, saw the Hawa Mahal at 8:45, and arrived at the Amber Fort at 9:00. I opted for the 1100 INR extra elephant ride (with no pressure at all, in fact, the guide’s main suggestion was to take the car up to the fort). It was a nice experience, which I would also recommend to others. After the fort, we saw the stepwell, drove by the Water Palace 11:05, and finally entered the City Palace at 11:20 and the Jantar Mantar observatory at 12:00. I then said goodbye to my Jaipur guide, who had also been extremely kind, informative, and helpful, taking many great pictures for me, and we drove back to Delhi. I had brought a lunch pack, so we skipped the usual lunch break and arrived at my Delhi airport hotel 18:20.
The pre-tour instructions give a suggestion for a fully optional “standard” tip of 500 INR to the guides and 1500 INR to the driver, which I found to be quite reasonable. The guides and driver really were exceptionally good and exceeded my expectations, and they fully deserve 5 stars.
All in all, I was very satisfied with the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Delhi.

Hi, I will be arriving Feb 15 around 1am and have a few questions:
1. Is it possible to stay in Jaipur without returning to New Delhi on day 2?
2. Since our flight lands so early, is a sunrise Taj Mahal option possible? How early can pick up be from Delhi airport?
3. Are we able to stay in Agra the first night and to go Jaipur the second day?
I have hotel accommodations already in both cities as I need to end in Jaipur for a wedding. Would like to know if an overnight stop in Agra was possible for additional rest. Thanks!

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out with your questions. I'm happy to assist you with your travel plans.
Yes, it's possible to stay in Jaipur without returning to New Delhi on day 2. Our itinerary is flexible, and we can arrange for you to stay overnight in Jaipur if that suits your plans better.
Absolutely! A sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal is a magical experience. We can arrange for an early pick-up from Delhi airport to ensure you reach the Taj Mahal in time for sunrise. We could pick you up at 2:30 am from the airport to accommodate your early arrival.
Certainly! As per the itinerary, your overnight stay will be in Jaipur. However, if you prefer to stay in Agra the first night and then travel to Jaipur the next day, we can accommodate that request as well.
It's great to hear that you already have hotel accommodations in both cities. An overnight stop in Agra for additional rest before continuing to Jaipur for the wedding sounds like a wonderful plan.
Please let us know your preferences, and we'll tailor the itinerary to suit your needs. If you have any further questions or would like to proceed with booking, feel free to reach out to us. We're here to make sure you have a fantastic and seamless travel experience.
Looking forward to assisting you further!
Best regards,
Amit

I was wondering if this tour could be flipped so that the Jaipur portion is done 1st and the Agra portion is done 2nd since the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays? This would be for 2 travelers with the tour starting on Fri, Feb. 21st.
