About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- PraisDeLord0 contributionsA great full and fantastical morning.So.. 8am booking. Got picked up 15 minutes late. Assumed would be a group but just me. 5 hours, 5 temples, £25. We went to the first temple where we met the guide. Excellent stories, who cared if a few did not add up once I went to Wikipedia later Both he and the driver were great. Brought my bottled water and did not need food but had some in my bag. Felt safe and informed, all in all a great full morning. Would recommend it to all for a great value, beautiful and informative trip. Go early to avoid as much traffic as possible. Taj Mahal and Agra next.Written 11 February 2025

- K65OOab0 contributionsExcellent Tour to see the Real DehliOur tour guide was absolutely wonderful! He made a special effort to really hone in on what we wanted to see and also show us the ‘real India’ of the culture, the arts, and the good. We had our five year old daughter with us and he was so patient and kind with her on what was a long day. I would highly recommend this tour as w way to see what you are most interested in and truly get a flavor for Dehli in a way that is enriching and captivating.Written 30 November 2024
- Page O0 contributionsTouring the Temples in DelhiWe had a bit of a mixup and couldn’t find our guide at starting time, but our guide was very patient. Was nice to have a private tour of the temples. The tour was very informative and never felt rushed.Written 26 November 2024
- SeanPrior0 contributionsDecent trip around old Delhi without alot of conent.Decent-ish tour. Guide was 20mins late but not a big deal. The whole of the tour was: we visited the old mosque in Delhi, got a chai and had quick stop at an (expensive) spice market. Tour guide seemed relatively well informed but didn't have alot to tell us without being asked. Tuktuk price wasn't included so had to guess how much to give. Pick-up from hotel was punctual and driver was very nice.Written 23 November 2024

Indi and our driver were very patient and friendly. We had a little issues connecting before the tour figuring out where to meet but we ultimately got connected and began the great tour.Written 20 November 2024
- russellpmurphy40 contributionsKnowledge & experience is the key to this tourOur guide, Anis is a really nice young guy, but his current lack of experience & depth of knowledge on this tour, left us wanting a bit more depth. That will come (as he’s only 22) & he will naturally improve as he gets more tours under his belt & completes a bit more study on Gandhi & all the history behind the man himself.Written 17 November 2024
- M9630CVpaigea0 contributionsLovely day seeing Delhi sightsWe had a very nice day out with Danish! Lovely sightseeing and we tried some tea and visited the spice market. We didn’t get to go in the Red fort unfortunately, but Danish made up for it with a trip to the India Gate and Guruduwara Temple.Written 15 November 2024

We had a wonderful experience walking the streets of Old Delhi with Suraj. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to explore the old city by foot and get a taste of a bustling market that is not cattering to tourists. Suraj is an excellent guide and I highly recommend him and this tour!

Karan provided a good introduction to Old Delhi by taking us to the Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and the spice market. We finished with a visit to a New Delhi restaurant. Karan was an efficient guide who deftly brought us through the sights and helped with organising transport. On reflection, I would have liked to have spent a little more time in the Chowk and had a better opportunity to hear about the history of Jama Masjid and Old Delhi.

Our tour was canceled at the last minute by an email. Given that you all had our phone number and sent a text the day before to remind us of the tour, a call should have been placed to cancel it. Sending an email that morning is not good. I checked email at 7am, 3 hours before the tour and nothing. Then we got ready and left home to travel to Rajiv Chowk. We waited around there for a while, before finally checking email and seeing that an email came with the cancelation notice that morning around 7:32a. Given that the tour is at 10a and we had to travel to get there on time, we left. home well before the 10a deadline.

Hello Sir, We are sorry to have canceled your booking at the last moment. Our Guide's family has some issues and we did not want to provide a sub-standard guide to our guests.
Apologies for the unwanted cancellation.

A great tour of Old Delhi!
Pros:
- Nikhil was a great guide! He showed us not only the standard sites, but some of the interesting alleyways and off-the-beaten-path places. He adapted to our interests and was great! Knew the history, explained the culture, and was enjoyable!
- The tour encompasses a few major sites and street markets. A good mix of the imposing historical places and current street markets and spice market.
- Enjoyed the spice merchants and the alleyways where the wholesalers package items. Fun riding the rickshaw.
- Nikhil had a great recommendation for lunch as well.
Cons:
- If you've seen the major sites in another tour, about a third of this tour could be a repeat. Just let the guide know what you've already seen. (We revisited one site, and Nikhil's commentary added to the history the previous guide had relayed, so it wasn't repetitive.)
- Communication from the tour operator was minimal. Other tours gave details via WhatsApp, informed us in advance of the driver and guide, etc. This one had none of that. But the tour was fine. Just don't expect details in advance.
Summary: One of my favorite tours in Delhi.

Amazing tour! I really wanted to see old Delhi but was as a solo woman was uncertain about going alone - this tour with Suraj was the perfect mix of being part of the crowd and feeling secure and learning about Old Delhi! I loved visiting the religious sites, especially the Sikh temple. Thank you Suraj!

I took the 3 hours Old Delhi tour and to my surprise I was the only one, so a private tour which I was very pleased with.
The tour is nicely organised with parts of waking and parts of rickshaw and parts of walk.
My tour guide was a lovely hound lady called Neha and very accommodating too.
You have to pay for rickshaw rides which are each around 20-40 rupees. I didn’t have any cash with me due to change of plans and she was so nice to pay for me and then takes me to the ATM.
She also took photos of me in different spots which was really nice.
We finished the tour in 2.5 hours which I think was just enough length.

Old Delhi can be a difficult place to navigate. We are so glad that we had a guide who was able to show us around. Our guide, Isha was fluent in English, confident, and knowledgeable. She showed us all the important sights, carefully navigating through the narrow streets. As part of this tour you will visit multiple religious establishments. Make sure everyone in the group is dressed conservatively.

As a group of eight we took this tour with our guide Sunsi (apologies if my spelling of your name isn't correct) The tour started with a ride on the Mumbai underground for a couple of stops and then above ground and into the madness. This truly is a busy city, the tour took us through Old Delhi's packed streets and past every sort of vendor you can imagine. The noise is extra ordinary. We visited a huge mosque, walked the back streets where the colours from the goods in the shops are bewildering, We visited a Sikh temple where we were given an insight into Sikhism by a Sikh elder and then invited to cover our heads, remove our footwear and enter the Gurdwara. after listening to part of the ceremony, we made our way into the kitchen area and dining room, where around ten thousand meals a day are created. You can take part in the preparation if you wish. The Sikh's are very welcoming and appear to appreciate the interest shown by the group. Then off to the spice market in an electric rickshaw. The sights and smells are extraordinary. You are then taken to a roof top where you get a great view of the market and the city for photographs. Sunsi our guide was extremely knowledgeable and patient as our group was large. He dealt with all of the tickets, rickshaws and took lots of photographs of us. A true gentleman. In all fairness, take this tour, you'll never regret it.

Manish took my 74 year old father to be scammed by local fake pashmina vendors and did not warn him. The tour was supposed to last 3-4 hours and included a visit to Jama Masjid, spice market and all… but it only lasted 2 hours plus the car ride, and Manish had said they couldn’t enter Jama Masjid which I know to be untrue. Only some areas are restricted there for Muslims. Ridiculous and untrustworthy. Cannot recommend and will not use this your provider again.

Hi,
My flight will land in Delhi at 8:30 in the morning. I am traveling without luggage and I need to catch train for Haridwar on 29th October. Can this tour work for me. Also are they operating on 29 th ,given this a holiday season.
If yes do let me know and I will book the tour. Also should I select pick up and drop or as I am traveling without luggage, I can manage on my own?
Written 22 October 2019
My train is around 3:30 from Delhi station. Any help around this is highly appreciated.
Thanks.

My hotel is in Greater Noida. Is there pickup availability for this area?
Written 3 September 2019
I doubt there are pickup options From greater Noida. You could ask the tour operator. We took an über to the meeting point at United Coffee House. Believe there are metro options to Rajiv Chowk stop which is walking distance from the meeting point for the tour.
Written 3 September 2019
Do you think we would be able to book this tour at short notice on the same day, as we are not sure how long it will take us to get from airport to hotel and finish with representative etc?
Written 20 February 2019
Max you can book the tickets is 3 hours before the tour departure.
Written 4 March 2019
Does this tour include entry to the Jama Masjid or we have to pay for our own tickets to enter?
Written 18 February 2019
Yes Sir Entry to Jama masjid is included and there is no entrance fee to Enter Jama Masjid. However, there is a camera fee of 300 Rs Per Camera Including the mobile one. If you do not wish to take photos, you can leave the cameras with your guide to avoid paying camera tickets.

Hi would this tour be suitable for a 2 year old in a buggy?
Written 30 October 2018
I would suggest it would not be suitable. The pavement in Old Delhi is exceptionally uneven and broken up. There are also numerous steps involved getting to the Mosque. Unless the buggy folds, it's also not going on a rickshaw or Tuk Tuk.

How muck walking is involved I cannot walk fast
Written 6 September 2018
There is quite a bit of walking involved. It's a moderate paced tour, it does get very crowded at times but you should be able to manage.
Written 7 September 2018
I cannot walk fast would this walk be OK how long is the actual walking part of the tour
Written 6 September 2018
It’s quite a lot of walking and most of the streets are uneven but we walked at a pace that suited us all.
