- NorthStar083672407870 contributionsBest way to see the sites of India - Zero Stress & AffordableThe trip was fantastic! I can’t think of a better way to get get to know as many areas and monuments in such a convenient way. We had the same driver for the entire six days which is incredibly helpful for getting around in India. In each city we had a tour guide. The tours and hotels were all part of the package and made the experience enjoyable and low stress. Our diver, Vipin Sharma, was fantastic throughout the trip. He drove professionally and competently. Some of the drives are quite long (3-5 hours). During these trips he would always find great places to stop for lunch and would make time to point out monuments and explain local business and agriculture. The driver on this tour is so important to the experience and he was really great. We felt safe and comfortable throughout. Our three guides were each very helpful: Himmat - Guide Delhi Himmat was very knowledgeable and helpful. He introduced much of the history that was relevant for the moments we would see for the remainder of our trip. He was helpful taking pictures and made a big impact on our experience in Delhi. He was very kind and respectful throughout the tours and took time to make sure we understood what we were seeing. He very personable as well and we felt comfortable asking any questions and getting to know the city in ways we never would have without a knowledgeable guide. Vijay Chauhan - Agra Guide Vijay was a fantastic guide in Agra. The main attraction in Agra is the Taj Mahal. It is absolutely beautiful and getting good pictures to remember the moment is very important. Vijay made this easy for us. He knew all of the best places and angles for photos. The Taj Mahal is very busy and he made the experience enjoyable and low stress. He really allowed us to enjoy the experience without us having to worry about preserving it with constant picture taking. My wife and I both commented that Vijay was the ideal tour guide for Agra. Assok Sharma - Jaipur Guide The city of Jaipur is amazing and Assok was a great guide. He really went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable and knew the best experiences and places for whatever we were interested in doing. For example, we expressed interest in an elephant ride as part of our day. Assok suggested that instead of just a ride, we visit a local elephant farm which included experiences like walking and feeding the elephants in addition to riding. It wasn’t crowded or busy but a great experience and opportunity to connect with the animals. He also showed us great locations for lunch and souvenir shopping. We had a great experience in Jaipur.Written 16 January 2025
- fzssyv0 contributionsHoneymoon tour!We wanted to see India but did not want a group tour since we were on our honeymoon. We are in our 50s and travel frequently but did not feel equipped to dealing with traffic in India. We were about to give up hope and go somewhere else when I found this tour. To say that this tour exceeded our expectations is an understatement. First of all, at our request, we were met at the airport at 7am when our flight landed. Prem was warm and kind and immediately made us comfortable. We then spent the next 6 days touring India. Each city had its own guide. We felt like celebrities. We would be dropped off at the front gate (no parking and walking through the crowds) and then escorted by our guide to see what we were there to see. If we needed an ATM, they found one for us. If we were hungry at an odd hour, they found us food. Whenever we were done visiting a place, Prem would somehow be waiting there for us with a warm smile. How he managed to always be ready we don’t know but he was. India traffic is crazy but we always felt very safe with Prem. Our guides at each stop were very knowledgeable and helpful. We learned many fascinating things about the places we visited and the people and culture. After this incredible experience, I don’t know why anyone would ever pick a group tour of India (even a small group), when you can have a private tour. We opted to book our own hotels since it was our honeymoon but every place and restaurant they took us to was great. We cannot recommend enough. I used reviews when booking this tour and I hope that this one is helpful as well. Book them. You will not be disappointed.Written 14 January 2025
- NorthStar494923878980 contributionsAmazing and MemorableThe driver, Vicki, and the tour guides were amazing. They explained all of the sites very well and were very knowledgeable. The 5 star hotels were also very nice. The tour also brought us to several shops, and the demonstrations at the shops were great. A thing to note is the activities were packed in four days. If you have more time, I would recommend doing the activities in 6 or 7 days so that you have plenty of time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There were a couple days that we had to skip lunch because we did not have time, so keep that in mind if you are trying to pack all the activities in four days. Overall, the tour was amazing, all the employees were very helpful, and I had a great and memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour.Written 13 January 2025
- katherinebS2760PO0 contributionsOnce in a life time tripWe took this tour in beginning of January. Our driver Vicky was absolutely amazing! He was able to get us around the very compact city of Delhi and in our travels to other cities. He was very knowledgeable about the city structures even without being considered a guide. Our first guide around Delhi named Himaat was fantastic. Our first day had a lot of fog but he kept a very upbeat attitude and considered us family. Our second guide Chandil in Agra was excellent and answered all of our crazy questions about the beautiful monuments. Our third guide in Ranthambore Dama was very considerate and even called us to make sure a jacket that they found wasn’t ours. Our last guide Ashok was so incredible. I was feeling a bit faint and he did absolutely everything to help me feel back to normal including a head massage. All of these guides truly go out of their way to make you comfortable and speak wonderful English! I truly recommend this trip!Written 13 January 2025

- christianwalterg0 contributionsSightseeing with TigersFully recommended! In each city, we had a private tour guide who provided detailed explanations of the monuments we visited. The tiger safari was incredibly exciting - during the afternoon, we were lucky enough to spot four tigers! Our driver, Vipin, did an excellent job; he was always punctual, very friendly, well-organized, and shared many fascinating insights about North Indian culture.Written 10 January 2025
- Becky999170 contributionsWonderful Golden Triangle tourWe had a great time on this tour! Our driver was Sonu - we recommend him highly! He picked us up each day on time, communicated the schedule, and he was amazing in the often-crazy India traffic. He drove safely and never seemed bothered by chaotic traffic. We enjoyed the tours in each city and we never felt rushed. We had a different guide in each city and they were all friendly and knowledgeable. I am especially thankful to Raj in Agra. He saw that I have some difficulty walking (I use a cane) so he suggested hiring a wheelchair and someone to push it for our Taj Mahal tour. He even asked the man to meet us at Agra Fort so I had a wheelchair there also. It made the visits much more enjoyable; Raj is not only a very good tour guide but he made the extra effort to make me comfortable. We loved the entire 6 day tour; we have nothing but praise for Pacific Classic Tours!Written 10 January 2025
- Derek M0 contributionsExcellent Golden Triangle TourThis was our first visit to India and I have say the tour was excellent. Our driver Bituh was a professional. He was very very helpful and did an excellent job. Really impressed how he navigated the chaotic traffic and kept us all safe. Can’t say enough kind things about Bituh. Our guides Ashok and Mahesh were also excellent. Very knowledgeable and helpful. A pleasure to have them show us the sights in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable and the hotels were top class. I highly recommend this tour company for the professional and courteous service. Thank you for everything. My wife, daughter and I very much enjoyed the experience. Your staff were first class.Written 7 January 2025
- 259alejandros0 contributionsAmazing India ExperienceOur adventure kicked off perfectly, with smooth booking and a warm welcome the moment we landed at the airport. We lucked out with our main driver Raj, who became more like a friend than a guide, sharing stories and local secrets that made every city come alive. Himmad in Delhi was a total gem - he even surprised us by switching the whole tour to Spanish when he realized we'd be more comfortable, despite us booking in English. The Agra leg was just as special, with Rajini knowing exactly where to get the best Taj Mahal photos and helping us track down medicine when we needed it. Thanks to Mukesh in Ranthambore, we got the perfect jeep spot and saw something I still can't believe - a wild tiger. Couldn’t recommend it more.Written 3 January 2025
- U1682CBlucam0 contributionsTravel companions more than travel guidesExceptionally well designed and incredibly well guided tour. We experienced a great bunch of preparation, flexibility, empathy and professionalism. Mahesh and the driver Gurmeth have been incredibly helpful in accommodating any little detour and make sure the tour would stay safe, interesting and at the same time never loaded with unnecessary details. We loved it, and we'll be back! Thanks a lot PCT, Mahesh and Gurmeth!Written 2 January 2025
- G2026ITpaolod0 contributionsPrivate 6-day IndiaI had an absolutely amazing experience! Raj is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also one of the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve met. The tour was so well-organized and offered a fantastic opportunity to explore all the main tourist spots, along with a few hidden gems I wouldn’t have found on my own. Raj shared fascinating stories and local insights that made the experience even more special. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing and cultural immersion—I’d highly recommend it to anyone!Written 2 January 2025
- 745maciejg0 contributionsAwesome trip in Golden TriangleWe did this trip between Christmas and New Year. It was very good timing. The entire experience was fantastic. DK as a driver was excellent in and absolutely irreplaceable. All our guides were awesome. In Delhi we had Himmat as a guide he was super friendly and extremely professional. In Agra we traveled with Raj. His knowledge about history and ability to patiently let us do so many photos in Taj Mahal were really superb. In Jaipur we were with Ashok. He is really a star. He was able to organize for us a meeting with Cobra Charmers. We didn’t see tigers. But this is wildlife not zoo. But still the experience was great in Ranthambore. I highly recommend to everyone to use this trip.Written 30 December 2024
- 328beno0 contributionsWonders abound in the golden triangleMahesh and Hari did a fantastic job guiding my family around the golden triangle. They were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging with every city and every site. Next time we go back to India will undoubtedly be requesting them again!Written 25 December 2024
- dianaaO5239NE0 contributionsFirst time in IndiaOverall, the 5-day tour was good. There are parts that could have been improved and some options and warnings could have been given by the tour guide. For example, in Delhi, we could have skipped the bicycle ride through the very busy (and scary) market to get to the temple. Also, when we went to the last temple, we were warned by the guide not to take our cell phone, but we were not told that smart watch and electronic watches are also not allowed. So we ended up going back to the beginning of the very long line after dropping off our watches. The trip to Agra was fantastic and our local tour guide, Mukesh Kumar Kushwah was the BEST of all the tour guides assigned to us. His English was the most understandable and he is very knowledgeable of the history of Taj Mahal. He was also very kind - he even lend me a clean jacket for the early morning tour because it was very cold. He is also an excellent photographer. On our last day in Jaipur, we enjoyed that Amber palace tour a lot. However, our tour guide was difficult to understand. He was nice, but he took us to several expensive places for shopping even though we did not ask him to do it, and we told him we were not interested in carpet rugs or in jewelries. Our driver, Vipin Sharma, was excellent! He was polite, kind, and always on time. Most importantly, he was a very careful driver. His car was clean and comfortable. He also shared good information about the region and the culture. Vipin is highly recommended.Written 18 December 2024
- phillipedwards250 contributionsAmazing Golden Triangle TourWow, what a fantastic trip which was more than we could ever dreamed of. Hari our driver for the week was fantastic picking us up as planned from our hotel and looking after us from start to finish with us never feeling rushed at any point,.Hari was always on time with the car clean every day making sure we got around safely during the week. All daily guides were very knowledgeable at all locations and hotels very good. Shakul managed the booking professionally contacting us before and during the week to check if we were ok. We even got to see a tiger at Ranthambhore on the morning safari. Overall an excellent adventure which I’d thoroughly recommend using this company for. Thanks for a great experience we’ll never forget!!Written 16 December 2024

For a solo, female traveler, the tour provided a great highlight of all the sights. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful in each city. Be prepared to be taken to local shops by each of the guides. While I liked learning about how the local handicrafts were made, I often felt pressured to buy things and was uncomfortable. Say no right away if this isn’t your thing and don’t waste your time. My driver, KK, did a good job navigating the crazy traffic and roads. We had a couple of close calls and hard braking to avoid hitting another car or cow or dog, but overall I felt safe. Some of the drives were very long so be prepared - I appreciated that KK had a mobile hotspot though so I didn’t have to use up all my international data. If you’re looking for a truly immersive cultural experience, this isn’t the tour for you. We saw most of the touristy spots but if you’re looking for a food tour or want to experience the markets, you’re better off booking individual things. Overall, I’d recommend for someone coming to India unprepared and overwhelmed at the thought of having to put together a trip on their own.

My husband and I were so impressed by the quality of this tour. We saw so many beautiful and ancient sites in our 3 days in Northern India, and had very brilliant and knowledgeable tour guides. They were able to give us great insights into the history and architecture in the places we visited. We particularly enjoyed seeing craftsmen at work and learning about the process of creating artisan wool rugs, block printed fabric, gemstone-inlaid marble, jewelry, and embroidered tapestries. Our driver, Mr. Sanju, was excellent and professional. He gave great recommendations for activities that were not included in the tour, like dinner with an Indian folk dancing performance in Jaipur. We felt very safe the whole time, and all the hotels were beautiful and all the restaurants were clean and had delicious food. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see as much as they can in a short period.

Excellent tour all around! Shakul helped us customize the itinerary, starting in Jaipur instead of Delhi, since this matched better with our travel plans. We were set up with the same driver & car for the whole trip, and then we meet up with a local guide in each city. I also want to point out that this trip seems to be an incredible deal, we looked up costs of hotel rooms, and those alone world have cost more than the whole tour.
Gurmeet Singh (Bittu), our driver, was phenomenal. Very friendly, great English, and a safe driver. He was quite knowledgeable about the various landmarks and points of interests that we passed, and helped us understand a lot about the way of life in different places. He provided safe water and snacks, and was very patient with all of our luggage, and when we all fell asleep after a long journey. The long drives between cities were made enjoyable by passing through villages, stops to see local crafts, and good lunch spot recommendations like New Riao in Agra.
Guide in Jaipur was Surya, who took us to the local forts, and explained a lot of the local history. My favorite stop here was the Jantar Mantar Observatory, where Surya gave us knowledgeable descriptions of the workings and construction of all the ancient astronomical instruments.
The guide in Ranthambhore helped set us up with two jeep tours into the park, and we saw a tiger on the first evening!
In Agra, Ranji Kant was the best Taj Mahal tour guide you could ask for. He showed us a beautiful sunrise at the Taj Mahal, explained all about the history and interesting details of the construction and craftsmanship, and Ranji is a great cellphone photographer! He could definitely recreate a professional couples photoshoot at the Taj Mahal. He was very friendly and courteous.
Finally, our last stop in Delhi was led by Gilip, who told us all about the history of the city, took us to amazing tombs, and finally led us on a driving tour of the current government buildings. The lunch stop this day was at Pindi, where we had the best Indian food of the whole trip, with all veg, non-veg, spicy, and options for people who can't handle spice.

If you have minimal time to explore Northern India, this is the way to do it! The sites included are spectacular (impossible to choose true favorites but the Amber Fort and Taj Mahal were at the top of the list), and the tour group provides a private licensed guide for each day in each city. Guides like Mr. Ashok have incredible knowledge of each site, tell great stories, and are fantastic photographers. Our driver, Mr. Sanju Sharma, was absolutely amazing. He handled the city traffic with ease, brought us to local restaurants for great food, and showed us the best stops for masala chai. We chose the 5-star hotel option and loved the Jaypee Palace in Agra and the Hilton Jaipur. The tour’s hospitality, convenience of travel, and breathtaking views made this a trip we will not forget. Book with confidence!

Our driver Hari took us to every site on our tour. He was always wary, professional, and polite. The tour was good and brought us to sites with quality guides and with expert timing. We really enjoyed our driver and guides. The sites we saw were incredible. Nothing was exactly as we imagined it and our understanding of India was greatly increased. The direction and order of this tour. Was mostly comprehensive but we understand that the reverse order may have additional chronological benefits.
We only had three issues with the tour and think for many these would not be problematic.
1) We would have enjoyed a little more time at the locations where travel to the next spot for timing was not critical. This affected only a small number of locations where we left sites to shop or rest and it occurred much earlier than we would have preferred.
2) stemming from the shopping, most sites include a small demonstration, which is nice. With mixed experiences, most shops become a long and uncomfortable process of pressure to buy when we had no interest to shop in the first place. I would have rather navigated street markets instead of the larger iterations of stores. Also, the rug shop in Jaipur was better than the one in Delhi. I would hold out for that one!
3) the food spots recommended and where we were taken were heavily tourist based, with western pricing, and generally not very spicy. When we asked for something spicy, we were given seasoned but nearly bland food. On the flip side, we were never sick nor worried about being sick. You can get away with 2 meals a day with the lower activity level.
We were all in all impressed by India and very much enjoyed our time. We would recommend the tour to friends but make recommendations to tailor the experience and get more out of it.

We had an amazing time in India, the itinerary is very well organised you don’t have to worry about anything. Our driver Prem stayed with us all week and took us from a city to another with sometimes long hours drive. He was the kindest and most caring person, he is so respectful and was very helpful, he made our trip feel so smooth and easy when he was the one driving so many hours during the week!
We also felt very safe with him driving in a crazy driving country ! I recommend him very much
The hotels were very nice and we were very well welcomed each time. The good was AMAZING every time.
The safari was really nice and even though it is hard to see a tiger (be aware of that) we were the lucky ones who saw it !!! And that was an amazing experience
I think the tour is very well organised and the guides are really good too. In each city we had a member of the staff welcoming us and a guide for each area who were all passionate by the history of the country and very proud of their country, we have learned a lot about India and we had a really good time.
The guides and driver give you advices on restaurant and anything you’d like to do.
I would recommend this tour for sure ! Thank you again for the experience!!

We enjoyed our five-day tour (Golden Triangle plus Ranthambore) and can recommend it especially if it's your first time in India. Everything ran smoothly and we were picked up on time every day. Our driver, Mr. Sunil, was friendly and professional; he was with us throughout the whole trip whereas the guide was different in every place we visited. It’s a private tour, so aside from the driver and guides, it was just my husband and I. Communication with the tour organizer was excellent, they always replied promptly to whatever questions we had. The program was pretty packed – you get to see and do a lot in one day – and this is what we wanted.
We chose the option with no accommodation and booked our own hotels, and it worked well for us. We did find that the tour is a bit pricey for what it is (essentially transport, entry tickets and guides; note that meals are not included), but overall we still thought it was worth it, since it offered a good introduction to this part of India, which can be pretty overwhelming at first. After the tour, we felt confident enough to travel further afield on our own, but during those first few days it was really helpful to have someone organise the different activities for us.
One thing to bear in mind is that if your heart is set on seeing a tiger during the Ranthambhore safari, you might be disappointed (at least on the day we went, very few people saw one - it could be because February is not the best time for tiger sighting), although this is obviously not the tour organiser's fault. Also, our safari guides unfortunately spoke little to no English. Still, if you are happy with possibly seeing other animals (we saw peacocks, antilopes, deer, a leopard, a camel and different kinds of birds), and enjoying some nature after the hustle and bustle of Delhi, it’s a fun experience. For us, the highlights of the trip were (unsurprisingly) the Taj Mahal and the Amber Fort in Jaipur.
Overall, a good introduction to India and a reliable tour organiser. We would recommend it.

This was such a wonderful well organized tour. The pick ups and drop offs at all stops were timed perfectly, they provided water throughout the trip, they allowed us to adjust the itinerary and they truly made us feel special. I felt safe traveling this new unknown country with D K Sharma as our driver. He was an expert at maneuvering the crowded streets and always welcoming us back with a friendly smile.
Mahesh Kumar was very knowledgeable on the sites in Delhi and Agra. He was very friendly and an excellent photographer too. Ashok Sharma was our tour guide in Jaipur and full of knowledge. He gave very detailed information about the different sites and did so with humor. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone exploring the golden triangle and the safari.

We booked the 5 days tour very spontaneously and we are more than happy with our choice as it is a great way to see a lot of different highlights in a short period of time.
Prem, our driver, is excellent - he knows how to safely navigate through the quite chaotic Indian traffic and we always felt very comfortable when he was driving. Also, he shared a lot of very interesting information with us so that the drives were never boring.
We also loved our stay in Ranthombre National Park and were even lucky enough to see two tigers.
We can only recommend this tour!

Having seen this trip on trip advisor, we contacted Pacific Classic Tours India directly, where we corresponded with Mr Shakul. As a family of 5, with 3 adult children, we found there were things in the itinerary that we wanted to exclude and other things we wanted to add. We found Shakul extremely helpful and accommodating, taking into account our changes, nothing was ever too much. The trip went very smoothly, with transfers all on time. Our guide, Mahesh, was excellent all the way through. He spent the 5 days with us, taking into account our wishes and being flexible and accommodating to our wishes. He was very informative, his explanations were detailed and interesting, we had no need for another guide at any of the sites.
We give this trip a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend Pacific Classic Tours India and Mahesh Kumar as your guide!

Hi we are planing a trip in April 2020 but we were wondering if the heat at this time would be too hot for this tour? Does the itinerary take the heat factor in to consideration. We know it maybe the best time to see the tigers but wondered if sight seeing and travel maybe unbearable? I am presuming the transport has air con? and so do the hotels that feature in this package? Many thanks, I am very excited and hope to book soon so hope for a favourable reply lol Sharon

We went in April this year and the hottest it got to in Rajasthan was 42 degrees! But it was fine, the car had great AC and we had plenty of water. All the hotels we're cool and had AC. The tour is taken at your pace so no worries there. I'd advise you take a hat and loose clothing especially when in Ranthambore as you'll be in the jeep the whole day. One thing I would advise however is that you don't go any later than April as it then gets really hot! Enjoy.

Hi there, would it be possible to add a 'day of rest' during the tour?
Would this tour be suitable for a 70 plus lady, who cant walk very well so couldn't do all the walking tours? Thanks x

It’s a fabulous tour but does involve some flat walking. It depends on what “ can’t walk very well means”. In Agra you will be dropped off close to the entrance to the Taj but probably have to walk 200 yards to get to it ( and 200 more back) there’s about 20 stair steps involved. Agra Fort requires about 2 blocks of gradual uphill walking to get in. In Ranthambhore there will be flat walking to your accommodations most likely and you’ll have to be able to get into the back of an open air Jeep. In Jaipur you’ll walk around town in order to see the sights. I’m guessing it was about 7-8 city blocks but flat. We rode an elephant up to the fort the last day. Just sat down on platform and held on. A few steps involved on each end. Possibly car could take you up to back of fort which is how we left but you’d walk a couple of blocks slightly uphill in that case. Inside fort you could see some of it without climbing but i’d Hate to miss the interior which requires about 20 steps, if you had access to a portable/travel wheelchair it would make things easier endurance wise. If you can climb stairs slowly you’ll see most of it. By the way, i’m a nurse and have traveled with a wheelchair bound mother before.

We are planning to arrive in New Delhi on a Wednesday afternoon. Would it possible to start the tour in the afternoon, maybe head straight to Agra, and save the half day New Delhi part until the end of the tour when we come back? Thanks.

hello Mr. William, Yes you can start the tour in the afternoon and can drive straight to Agra

Hi there, I would love to book this tour at Christmas/ New year. is it possible to start the tour in Dehli and end it in Jaipur thereby finishing the tour on day 4?
Written 8 October 2018
Hi Emma, sorry for my delay in response. Yes you can book this tour at X-mas/New Year Period. Yes you can start in Delhi and end in Jaipur. But do note that on X-mas and New Year eve there is mandatory Gala dinner in hotel of stay for which hotels charge extra which is not included in this tour and for that you have to pay extra.
