        Island Hopping Trip
My friends and I had a fantastic time. The snorkeling and swimming was awesome. The islands and beaches were absolutely gorgeous. My friends and I had a blast. The trip is well worth the money. We had a fantastic guide.

A great half day trip !
We opted for the half day jungle tour which consisted of a visit to the Emerald Pool, Blue Pool and Crystal Pool. This was then followed by a stop at the thermal waterfall before being taken back to our hotel. The trip from Krabi, booked through Viator and provided by Oh-Hoo Travel was about an hour from our hotel in the centre of Krabi. Our guide, Fatin, was lovely. She provided so much information and really took care of everyone on the trip. The Emerald Pool, Blue Pool and Crystal Pool are beautiful. We were given about an hour to swim in the Emerald Pool and didn’t feel rushed at all. There is a restaurant and a small array of stalls at this location. A short 10 minute drive from here is the thermal waterfall. This was amazing ! It’s like getting into a bath. The rocks weren’t slippery and there are plenty of natural pools for people to relax in. All ages were able to enjoy this location and nobody wanted to leave !

        Ok but wouldn’t recommend.
Our last day in Thailand due to fly home at 10pm so though we would do the half day trip to pass time and explore. Advert said 4 hours on get your guide so 11.30am pick up would expect to be done by 15:30. We didn’t get back to our hotel until gone after 7pm the 4 hour boat trip turned into nearly 8 hours leaving us nearly missing our flight home. 2 hour travel time to the pier and 2 hours back to the hotel really needs to be advertised as this was not made aware to us at any point. If we were not travelling home it wouldn’t be an issue but it wasn’t run over by an hour or two it was extremely lengthy. Islands themselves were nice, overcrowded compared to some we have gone to around Thailand.

        MUST SEE!
What an incredible experience that is Junkyard Theatre! Our table and everyone else’s were in absolute stitches. So creative and brilliant! The talent of the performers was out of this world. Beautiful singing, hilarious skits and incredible dance moves. The food was a stand out too! Also the bar and wait staff, great! The venue was really quirky! Really cool artwork, gorgeous greenery, lots of vintage stuff The Aussie couple that run the theatre were so beautiful and we loved meeting them! Best experience, one that we will treasure for years to come. Highly recommend, spectacular show!

A must do when in Phuket
Well organised trip, had great guide in Boy who took care of all of us throughout the day. Plenty of water and soft drinks offered throughout the trip. Great scenery and beaches. Really enjoyed the snorkeling stop, plenty to see. A long day but a wonderful experience

We had such a good experience with Seastar - so professional and kind
I had an amazing time with Seastar tour from Phuket to Similan Islands. Seastar was very professional and I felt safe, happy and well fed! We were picked up from our hotel, transported to their place and there we were prepared for the trip, having breakfast and getting additional information. After that we drove in the boat to Similan Islands, where we snorkled, swam and enjoyed the islands. They were amazingly beautiful and it was a very special and clear water. I can definitely recommend trips with Seastar, very professional and kind.

        Disorganized and overpriced
We were really excited for the tour, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations in terms of organization and overall experience. First off, the timing was a big issue. The tour was advertised as lasting 4 to 4.5 hours, but in reality, we spent a lot of time waiting. We left our hotel before 7 a.m., but didn’t return until around 3 p.m. This included the transfer to the base, about an hour of waiting for everyone to gather and the jetskis to be prepared, the tour itself, and then the lunch break when we got back. We also had to wait again for the car to take us back. So, the total experience was much longer and filled with unnecessary delays. Now, on the water, the jetskis were fine. They reached speeds of 45-50 km/h and had space for bags. Initially, riding was fun, and we got to stop at the “monkey” island, where we fed some monkeys (they’re pretty used to tourists). But the rest of the islands and stops weren’t as enjoyable. At one island, we had a break, but there were no toilets, and the snacks and drinks weren’t included in price (even water had to be bought). There was really nothing to do on the island except wait. The guides seemed to take this time to smoke, which added to the awkward feeling of doing nothing. At this point, the physical discomfort of the ride started to kick in. The water was choppy and windy, which made the ride less enjoyable, and my muscles started hurting. We made several stops for photos, but after 1-2 stops they started to feel unnecessary. The guides did take great photos, but after a couple of stops, it felt repetitive and we spent a lot of time waiting for the slower riders in the group to join us for photos. When we got to the final island, there was no explanation about what to do or where we were supposed to go. We were led to a restaurant, and after we were served food and drinks, we were told we would leave in 5 minutes. This meant we barely had time to finish our food. Also, the paid toilets were inconvenient (no paper and a rude attendant). To top it all off, I had 500 THB stolen from my jetski. I don’t blame the guides, I suspect it was one of the local boys helping with the jetskis on the island. It’s a good reminder not to leave anything behind. Finally back on the land, the lunch was decent and included in the price (finally!), and we bought a framed photo of us for 200 THB to remember the day. In conclusion, while the tour had some fun moments, the long waiting times and lack of organization really made it less enjoyable. The choppy ride was physically uncomfortable, and the overall value didn’t match the price. If the waiting time was reduced and the guides provided clearer instructions, this could have been a much better experience.

        Superb!
It was a really great tour well planned. Initially I thought its expensive compared to other tours already there in market but after this I actually booked another phi phi island tour with the standard prices (however they did mention premium speed boat). That tour was so bad, didn't get enough time to visit islands, the staff was not polite at all. So Now I think the price is quite justified for this one. The staff was really great, we were with Nina as our tour guide, she was super polite, helped us in all manners. Also to mention here we were only 1-12 persons in the boat, however compared to other tour we were 30-40 there, I strongly recommend few people on the boat as it really amplifies your experience

The only thing really worth seeing was the Emerald cave though there was quite insane traffic!
Snorkelling was a weird experience: few small fishes, not the clearest water (as hundreds and hundreds of tourists visit it daily), no living corals (actually the first snorkeling was my own mistake as I didn’t ask the guide where exactly is the m2 with promoted corals - maybe they still are there somewhere…) and really strict time schedule, always hurry to somewhere else, it is important to jump into the water very quickly right after the boat has stopped and also to swim quickly.
One thing that made me wonder: there is no toilet on longtail boats and trip lasts 5-6 hours - though organisers seem to believe that ocean handles everything, this insane amount of tourists may be too much… I can control myself but not sure in others, so just in case avoided swimming in the Emerald Cave laguna more than necessary. But the place itself and experience of going there are really unique and magical.
Last stop was a paradise beach and they magically managed to offer us a very tasty warm Thai meal, suddenly there was also enough time for sunbathing and swimming. It is a beautiful place and heavily overcrowded just as all previous islands.
Guides are really nice, helpful and friendly, be prepared that their English needs to be translated into English ;)

We had absolutely amazing snorkelling in two different locations, and saw a wonderful array of colourful fish and corals. But sadly a visit into the emerald cave was not possible due to the presence of small but stingy jellyfish, which can’t be helped. However we could maybe have been offered another snorkelling or swimming stop, but instead spent an extra long time on the island where we had lunch. However here the waters were very shallow and full of tourist boats, making an after lunch swim less than enjoyable. Also, whilst we certainly don’t expect a perfect grasp of the English language, I do think anyone working as a guide needs a good enough grasp to enable basic communication.

      Very nice experience.
We choose the longtail boat knowing it will travel longer and we did enjoy all our time on it.
We head to the 1st island to snorkel 30min, we head to the 2nd island and snorkeled 30min, we head to the cave (it is on the 3rd island) and stayed there other 30min (I had my diving torch so could see way more than the other tourists) and as final stop, we head to the 4th island to have a delicious lunch and the longest break (=1h).
I am glad we took our find because they didn't provide that, but they did give mask and snorkel.
I can recommend this tour and I hope my review helps in understanding the 4 island set up :)

My first time snorkeling was amazing. A bit crowded tour but I was lucky to be on the last boat (of many) going out which meant we had some alone time on each spot.
Lots of fish, not so much colorful reeves.
Our guide Ya was great, he seems to love his job and was very excited to help and take photos of everyone.
Swimming through the cave into the hidden lagoon is a spectacular experience.
They could go out with more space in between the boats so every group would have a little less crowded experience, but maybe that's tricky to arrange with tide etc.
Anyways it's a cool trip, recommended.

Tour was really good. Islands were good spots and snorkeling was ok considering not so good visibility on the day. Unfortunately the cave was packed with people. If there was a limit, it would have been over. Would be interesting to do this tour again pn a week day. Guide said they close the national parks in May and reopen in October.

First, the driver forget to pick me up at my hotel, I waited 1 hour more for them to come, the car was crowded.
Second, the boat was really crowded.
Then, the snorkeling was nice and the Emerald Cave too. But there are so many people doing the same that there is no pleasure to do it anymore.
The food was good and the crew was nice.

It worth the price, but pretty sure there are better boat tour/trip. :)

The sea was a bit choppy when we went out but it was good fun! The first island is about an hour away and the snorkelling is good. The reef isn’t the loveliest but there are fish galore there. Spotting a giant clam was the highlight for me. The next snorkelling site was 15 mins away and was just as good. We then went to another island for lunch, which was a delicious curry on a really beautiful beach. We then went to the emerald cave, which is a unique experience; an 80m swim through a twisting cave until we reached a small beach surrounded by 100ft cliffs. After that it’s a 1 1/2 hour trip back to Old Town.
We really enjoyed it ; the views were amazing, the cave was worth it all by itself, the guide was lovely and lunch was great. Highly recommend!

We would have appreciated an overview of the day before setting sail as our captain spoke little English. The tour is a lot of time on the boats, with little time on the 4 islands. Not completely sure what they considered the 4th island, maybe one we cruised by. The boat ride is neat, but we hoped for more snorkeling and swimming and adventuring time.

Very good pick Up service, you can count in it. We went with longboat it was good but slow. We spent more than half of the trip by traveling. 2 stops with snorcheling and one at cave (very good and higlight of the trip. Then good lunch eat on beach and boring one hour stay. I expected more but you do not ruin your days.
