- Trek663122675130 contributionsGreat place with perfect guideRavish is a great guy with perfect guiding skills. The trip was greatly tailored for my parents. Great value for money and such an interesting stories regarding the beautiful Amritsar.Written 14 March 2025
- 123qz0 contributionsExcellent guide for the Waga borderOur guide and driver Ravish messaged us with very detailed instructions about when and where he would meet us with an alternative if the traffic was difficult. Driving in a busy Indian city, especially old Amritsar is an experience in organised chaos at its best. Ravish got us safely to Waga, he had lots of interesting history to explain about the border and ceremony, showed us how to get into the stadium and got us through the VIP entrance even though we are not. I’m sure there are lots of great reviews of the closing ceremony but in brief it’s well worth seeing. It didn’t disappoint. Ravish also gave us some very useful tips about things to see in the other areas of India we are visiting. He is obviously well travelled and loves his country.Written 13 March 2025
- elliotm6210 contributionsThe trip and entry were made smoothVisiting the India-Pakistan Atari Wagah border for the military parade was an unforgettable experience. The trip and entry were made smooth, thanks to the guide and his helpful tips. The atmosphere was vibrant, and enthusiastic crowds could be seen on both sides. Ordinary citizens cheering for their soldiers and nation was a humbling sight. The seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's best to arrive early. If this trip is being planned, the tour agency and guide come highly recommended.Written 13 March 2025
- Pitiy K0 contributionsA Golden Experience with my GrandchildrenI recently visited Amritsar with my two grandchildren,8 and 10yrs. Guide Rishi was fantastic with the kids, explaining the history and significance of the Golden Temple in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. The kids loved the food in Amritsar and were fascinated by the ceremony at the Wagah Border. Rishi made sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience and I'm so grateful to have shared this experience with my grandkids.Written 8 March 2025

- D244MNjulieo0 contributionsBeating hearts at wagahOur visit to the Wagah Border parade was an unforgettable experience! Our guide took exceptional care of seniors in our group, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout. The car provided was clean, comfortable, and arrived on time. Our driver drove safely and efficiently, making the journey smooth. A tip for future visitors: the parade can get very loud, so consider bringing earplugs! The ceremony itself was amazing, with great views and an electric atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it.Written 1 March 2025
- Dream611899084100 contributionsvibrant and lively, showcasing the city's charmI'm so glad I extended my plan for a half-day Amritsar tour! After a fantastic Wagah Border tour, I trusted them to deliver another incredible experience. And I was right! Initially, I planned to explore Amritsar on my own, but Ravish convinced me to take a guided tour, promising it would enhance my experience. And it absolutely did! The Golden Temple was breathtaking, and the Heritage Walk was vibrant and lively, showcasing the city's charm. The tour also included memorial and a museum, making it a comprehensive and enriching experience. Every penny was worth it! Thanks again for creating unforgettable memories in Amritsar.Written 28 February 2025
- Dream611899084100 contributionsVery Dramatic wagah border ceremony. As a solo traveler, I booked a Wagah Border ceremony tour with Globe Trek. They picked me up from the congested Town Hall Road in Old Amritsar, and my guide Ravish was accommodating and flexible with my needs. Ravish briefed me on the tour plan, sharing the history and background of the Wagah Border ceremony. We made a fascinating stop at Khalsa College, admiring its stunning architecture and watching college girls play hockey. I requested a tea break, and Ravish patiently obliged, taking me to Via Lahore restaurant. Finally, we arrived at the border ceremony, which was dramatic and loud. I appreciated the symbolic coming together of two forces. Thank you for a memorable evening!Written 28 February 2025
- S E0 contributionsA Must Do - Wagah Border CeremonyThis was an amazing experience. Our guide, Ravish was fabulous. He is full of knowledge and shared so much about the history and area. He got us quickly into the event and over to the VIP section. Water was provided. The car was clean and comfortable. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off. He gave us guidance to get out quickly once the ceremony was over and beat the crowds. We felt very safe as he navigated the chaotic roadways. It was great to participate in the patriotic ceremony. There is singing and dancing before the ceremony. The crowds are very cheerful and excited. You can see their pride in their country. Foreigners get free admission via the VIP lane. Only bring phone, wallet, and camera. I highly recommend doing this tour. The ceremony is great to watch.Written 24 February 2025

- Passenger255160943390 contributionsAmritsar's Pride - Wagah Border Flag CeremonyWe attended the unforgettable Wagah Border Flag Ceremony, surrounded by thousands of enthusiastic spectators. The atmosphere was electric! The precise flag-lowering ritual, perfectly synchronized by Indian and Pakistani border guards, left us in awe. Our experience was made even better by our excellent guide, Deepak. It's worth noting that the ceremony is first-come, first-served and free of charge - our travel agency took care of the arrangements beforehand. Overall, the Wagah Border Flag Ceremony is an absolute must-see!Written 16 February 2025
- vijaya9570 contributionsWorkings of Langer at Amritsar. Our guide was exceptional in every aspect of history of every venue. In addition, we were exposed to workings of Langar. Highlight of the trip was Golden Temple; however, It was an eye opener to see the workings of Langar, where 50k people are fed every day. The 100% volunteer-based processing of every food item is just astounding. Our guide, Ravish was connected to the Manager of the kitchen, who walked us through every detail of the operation. We were also allowed to serve - we added ghee to the roti's. This 10-25 min event was very fulfilling. I would encourage anyone to find ways to experience the background work of Langar.Written 16 February 2025

I visited Amritsar for the first time with my family. Being one of the oldest city which had great significance in the Indian History - I wanted to have a deep understanding of it. I was lucky to have Ravish as my mentor in the journey.
Few things I must appreciate about the tours he arranges -
1. Cleanliness in the Car
2. Knowledge about the places (History)
3. Suggestions about the restaurants and popular places
4. Very important - I enjoyed his company throughout the tour.
I was assured of a Good Stay even before I visited Amritsar.
More than tour guide Ravish became a great friend of mine

- Wear modest clothing ( we were corrected by our guide)
- Cover your head before entering the temple ( compulsion)
- Try the free meal (community kitchen) it's delicious! ( Try from the volunteer area at the top level)

This was a wonderful tour with exceptional guides. The information about the sites we saw provided a historical background and was conveyed in an interesting way. There is nothing better than having a knowledgeable tour guide who can provide you with an interesting tour while being able to answer any other questions you may come up with along the way.
