          Wagah border trip
We had a really good time at the wagah attari border celebration. The guide ravish was very knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions patiently. Our flight got delayed arriving in amritsar but he came directly to our hotel and picked us up and took us for lunch before the wagah border.

You couldn’t get a better guide than Rivesh
Rivesh was the best possible person to take me to the border ceremony. I was unwell, it was 44C. Not only was he caring and considerate of my comfort, he was an informative and interesting guide. He responded to numerous questions on a broad range of topics in an engaging way. Had I been staying in Amritsar longer I would have asked for him to take me to other sights as his company added depth to the border ceremony experience.

          An incredible spectacle!
This is an amazing event and if you are staying in Amritsar well worth a visit, even though it's a fair distance outside the city. The Indian and Pakistan troops march on their own sides of the border. I was on the Indian side and the troops really whipped the crowd up into a frenzy of flag waving and cheering! It's very noisy and colourful and lasts about 30 mins. There are special seats for foreigners and VIPs. Foreigners will need their passports.

We visited Attari Border with Ravish. He was very cooperative and helpful. He had done the booking in advance which saved us a lot of time. He also made sure we got good seats. Visit to Pul kanjari was also a good experience.

An Amazing Experience at the Border.
Our guide's name was Ravish. He was an excellent guide who told my wife and I about the area, about Amritsar and about the Wagah Border flag ceremony. On the way, he also gave advice on seating and what to look for. My advise is to seat as close to the front as possible and as close to the border gates as possible and to avoid the concrete pillars of the stadium. The Wagah border flag ceremony is a worthwhile experience that is not to be missed. The pomp and pageantry is fabulous!

          Excellent guide and unique experience
This was a great trip. Ravish was a great guide and excellent company. He's very knowledgeable and was happy to talk about a range of things while we were driving to the border. The ceremony itself is well worth a visit, a very unique experience I would say. I'm very happy to have gone and would recommend this tour to everyone!

Best Tour Guide for Border Ceremony
Our tour guide Ravish was excellent.. Pointed out things on route.. Took us to a Barrista coffee shop.. When we arrived at the border, he escorted us to the farest point that he could go.. Explained at what point in the ceremony was best to start to leave before the crowds.. Was waiting for us when we came out.. EXCELLENT guide.. Would recommend.. Very knowledgeable.. Thank you Ravish.

          A memorable experience
It was a memorable experience for me to visit the India-Pakistan Atari Wagah border to witness the beating retreat parade. The travel to and back and the entry into the pavilion was quite easy and smooth, thanks to my guide Mr Rakesh Mehra and his tips. The atmosphere there was charged and the crowds on both sides enthusiastic; it was a humbling experience to see ordinary citizens on both sides cheering their flags and countries. If you wish to make this trip, I would strongly recommend this tour agency and guide.

          Very good tour experience
Very friendly and helpful guide. Very clear communication. Everything was very straightforward and easy to transact. Guide offered to take us to a restaurant and wait for us to finish and then drop to our hotel, even though it was not part of our package. Though we had to rush to the hotel, I believe it was a Sweet gesture from Ravish, the tour guide. Will recommend to anyone.

The guide assisted us with the best view of the stadium .
It is a once in a lifetime experience, every indian should see that. Guide Ravish was with us throughout wagah border ceremony tour, and was very knowledgeable, humble and took care of us so nicely. He was very patient and explained to us everything about ceremony ,Punjabi culture and people, which was very enlightening. He made us in the right spot of the stadium from where we are able to see the best view.

          Professional and best travel companion.
Great experience and travel companionshio with my guide ravish ,he was way too professional and forecast everything while we were on tour such as the crowd , best place to park the car or best place to sit for the tourists . It was nice to witness a parade there in the evening. I'm sure it will activate your goosebumps. During the parade, both entrance gates were left open for an hour as scouts from the two nations teased one another and the crowd competed to shout louder against the adjoining nation. The BSF officers have good manners and are helpful to senior folks and women.

We had an amazing experience with Ravish.
It was like exploring the city and around with a family member who has been living there for a long time.
The whole itinerary was completely flexible and you can modify your plan at your convenience. Apart from the regular sightseeing, he took us to some awesome restaurants/eateries and guided us to some good shops for regular shopping.
In all, I would recommend you go with Ravish.
We didn't plan the village tour as we were short of time and we were not aware how awesome experience it can be for the kids who have never been to any village.
If you're travelling to Amritsar for the first time, keep a minimum of 3 days
Day 1) Golden temple - Darshan and closing ceremony
        Day 2) Wagah Border
        Day 3) Village tour.

Ravish was v informative, personable and intelligent. Having a guide like him was like travelling with a friend, exchanging knowledge about each other’s cultures. He was punctual and patient and was able to share personal anecdotes to make the experience more relatable. He also speaks fluent english and was able to address any questions I had easily. Tour covered most of the tourist spots, and the wagah border experience was just surreal. Bring your passport along to get priority entry to the ceremony. Highly recommended.

Our tour of the Golden Temple and community kitchen with Global Trek Tours, led by the incredible Ravish, exceeded all expectations. Ravish's expertise and passion for Amritsar enriched our visit, ensuring we saw and understood the city in a profound way. The behind-the-scenes peek into the community kitchen was a moving experience that we'll cherish forever. We highly recommend Global Trek Tours and Ravish for an authentic and memorable exploration of Amritsar. Our journey was so inspiring that we created a YouTube video to share the magic with other travelers (Living the Jo Life). If you're seeking a truly immersive experience, this tour is a must!

Our family had an amazing trip to Amritsar, made even more enjoyable and comfortable thanks to our guide, Ravish M from Globetrekindia.com. He provided us with a comprehensive tour of the Golden Temple, offering stunning views from various vantage points, along with his deep knowledge and engaging storytelling about the places we visited. Without him, we would have missed out on so much. Despite the afternoon crowd preventing us from entering the darbar sahib, Ravish made sure we could visit in the evening and we were lucky for the opportunity to explore even the upper floors. The next day, he took us to Jallianwala Bagh, captivating us with its history. Overall, I highly recommend Ravish as your local guide when visiting Amritsar. From airport pick-up to drop-off, he was immensely helpful with shopping and restaurant recommendations. His patience, politeness, and friendliness is commendable.

We had a great day trip with Ravish first spending 2 hours at the golden temple and then out to the wagah border. The golden temple was amazing, our guide was knowledgeable and took us to several "behind the scenes" parts including the bakery area and the underground chambers. We were never rushed and took the time to see and learn about all the places, take photos, etc. We then had a nice lunch stop on the way up to the wagah border. The border ceremony is a very interesting experience, recommended, but kind of hard to explain! My one tip for the border is to bring earplugs because I found the music to be very loud and shrilly (it is extra loud to drown out the Pakistani music coming from a few meters away!). You will need to be at the border at least an hour early to get a decent seat. The car was comfortable and A/C worked well. If it is within your means I much enjoyed our experience here with a private car and guide, compared to being crunched into a bus.

While in Amritsar we hired Mr. Ravish Mehra a Amritsar Experience guide who took us on the Flavours of Amritsar tour which was very interesting and fun, I really recommend that tour to discover the best places to eat excellent authentic local dishes. He displayed lots of professionalism and at the same time was very nice and fun being with. I'll never forget the motorbike ride (during bazaar tour) I can only recommend Ravish and Globe Trek for your next trip to Amritsar, you will not regret it.

The tour was truly fantastic, exceeding expectations. Our guide, Mr. Ravish, was exceptionally kind, providing detailed explanations as he guided us through the Golden Temple. The visit to the kitchen was particularly impressive. Despite the dense fog that day, thanks to Mr. Ravish's thoughtfulness, he rearranged the tour sequence, allowing us to clear the mist and finally behold the Golden Temple. We were also ushered to VIP seats at Wagah Border, offering a close-up view of the border security forces' performance. Absolutely recommended!

It was a day well spent and Ravish was a great guide who went out of his way to provide recommendations and ensure one made the most of one's time in Amritsar. The Golden Temple part of the tour was a real discovery and well conducted. If there is only one recommendation I have, it is that tourists are dropped off at the Partition Museum to spend the time before the Wagah border trip. Highly recommend Ravish

Ravish was absolutely amazing, I started learning from the minute I got off the flight to the minute I finished with him. They were very flexible during the whole experience, offering pick ups at early hours of the morning so I could get to the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) safely from my hotel. Ravish was very polite, attentive and allowed me enough time for everything I wanted to do. I requested the Amritsar tour but mainly focused on history so the guided tour of the museums was great and informative. I felt very safe as a solo traveller. Thank you so much, I reccomend this company to everyone!

My Amritsar and Waugh’s Border was an extraordinary journey, thanks to Ravish. His deep knowledge of the city’s history and culture brought every location to life. His accommodating nature ensured that all my requests were catered to, making the tour comfortable and personalised. This tour wasn’t just a sightseeing trip; it was an immersive experience of Amritsar & Wagha border. I highly recommend Ravish to any visitors to Amritsar for a 5 star tour experience.
