      They did not reply.
I emailed them with request for dates and pricing information. They did not reply. Surprised by this, they seem very well established online. You cannot book in advance on their website so makes planning tours with them hard. I found another site Planet Amritsar which allows planning in advance and booking process is transparent!

Fantastic experience! Absolutely recommend this tour!
This review is so long over due. What a wonderful experience! I loved this tour. I can’t remember the guide’s name now, but she was fantastic—lots of personality, extremely knowledgeable, and knew so many people at the Temple. We got to see so much too—behind the scenes at the food kitchen, inside the Golden Temple itself, tea at the food kitchen. It was a magical experience in the dark hours of the morning. I enjoyed it so much that I booked another tour with her for the next day.

Book a tour with COP, you won’t regret it!
We took 3 tours with Sam from City on Pedals in our 2 days in Amritsar. We took the walking food tour, the Golden Temple tour, and the Village tour. All 3 were more than we could have expected! The food we tried on the food tour was delicious and we learned a lot about the city between stops. The Golden Temple tour was very informative and essential to our understanding of the temple’s significance. And the Village tour should be on every Amritsar visitor’s agenda. It’s an experience you just can’t get if you stay within the city. We met some of the kindest people, saw the beautiful agricultural side of the region, and had a delicious, home cooked lunch. We would recommend City on Pedals to everyone who visits Amritsar!

Thank you for an awesome tour!!
One of the most important reason that we could enjoy this tour was thanks to Rabhia, our tour guide. We had 2 tours with her and she is a really kind, good person who had all info required & ensured our tour went smooth) Definitely our choice of tour company, no doubt. But what a Amritsar wonderful bazaar) we had fun shopping.

Customised (last minute) one day Amritsar tour
I had a bad experience with a travel agent on our day 1 in Amritsar. So I called COP next day morning and asked if they could help customise a day trip for us same day starting at 1pm. A 10 min conversation with the travel consultant Rabia helped me figure out the itinerary for the day with a wonderful mix of historical, cultural, fun and a mix of food tour. Her suggestions allowed me to craft a customised trip catering to the likes of me and my husband. She helped arrange for a car and the driver assigned to us, Mr Harpreet Singh was equally amazing! In all we take back fond memories and had an amazing experience of the Pul Moran, the indo pak border, village tour near the border, culinary trip for best Fish fry, fish tikka, saffron lassi malai markey, the majestic Gobindgarh fort for 7D and laser show and finally drop off to the airport. I would highly reccommend COP as I was super impressed with the enthusiasm and professionalism of their young staff!

      Amazing tour and guide
My time in Amritsar and the villages was amazing thanks to City On Pedals, the Village tour and Bazaar tour are a must if you're with them... The guide Sam gave me both of the tours and he was great, super kind and willing to answer all of our questions. Its such a different way to discover the real India with local people and real traditions. I've tried amazing food and learned a lot!! Thanks!

      Late night Temple visit
It's hard to describe the serenity and peace of this beautiful place. We were invited by Sam and my family joined along with other tour guests. Gunveer being a Sikh had great knowledge about this place and he navigated us through the crowd very politely. We went to the kitchen where me and my wife were able to do sewa of making rotis and clean dishes. We would have never come into the kitchen on our own. Highly recommend visiting the temple at night with city on pedals team.

      Recommend for Non-locals
Rabhia the tour guide was extremely patient, knowledgeable, friendly and let me set the pace of the tour. I even got recommendations around dhabas (local restaurants) to try and places to shop for the city's specialities! Any tourists looking for a quick informative tour of the temple complex and the old bazaars around without getting ripped off, I will suggest Rabhia and her company !

Profesional and passionate guide in Amritsar
Had an excellent tour with City On Pedals. Myself and my parents, my sister were thrilled and a bit nervous with the idea of traveling to India because this time was the first time for us. But as soon as we met the tour guide lady called Rabia we four family members got felt relieved and started enjoying ourselves the whole tour especially at the place we wanted to visit the most, the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) . Her soulful guide took me to learn the history of the temple and Sikhism. After the tour my mom told me it was too beautiful and meaningful once in a lifetime experience, I am not sure how to describe it in English, but once again I deeply appriciate to Rabia for being so knowledgeable, professional and super kind to us. The only thing we family regret is we stayed in India too shortly. For the next time we would definitely have more time to be on the other tours to explore more this city that we loved so much !

I booked 5 Trips online. This was an easy process with good confirmation. The starting point of the Partition museum is less than ten minutes walk from the Golden Temple. Sam our guide was guide and he told us about the culture and heritage of the city. This included some hidden gems which we would not have found ourselves. This tour took us through side streets with a couple of food stops which was great. A great introduction and a great guide

I booked the heritage walk a week before our trip to Asr. The booking was done on their website along with payment and we got the tickets instantly on our email. My family was very happy with the tour (7am) and everything was smooth. They've done their history research well and it was never felt boring during the 2 hours. We enjoyed eating jalebi & poori chhole and walking around the narrow streets. Samsoon was very caring and took great care of our family. My colleagues will be joining them next month and I wish them great success.

City on pedals has been a beautiful jewel found on trip adviser. Not too many people know the walking tours which they offered to us at 4 am. We had to meet our guide outside of Harmandir saheb in the pristine hours of morning. We had a complete tour of 2.5 hours which took us from interiors of Harmandir saheb, the book ceremony, kitchen and ending it with warm tea! It was a mesmerizing experience with variety of stories of past and present times. The most fascinating place was kitchen. It was worth every minute! Must do!

Last year, we had visited this historical and religious city of Amritsar.
The new developed Heritage walking street, must be visited by every visitors. All heritage and religious sites are connected with one street. Best place for one day walk and full of eating places and shopping.

Not much to write. The tour guide met us on time in the place set for tour start.
No complaints about the tour guide. He was very nice and polite.
My only issue is with the tour not being that interesting. Maybe it was my expectations but unless combined with the Golden Temple, it doesn't seem to have much heritage to be named an heritage walk.
Also, I recommend not asking the customer to write a feedback at the end of the tour infront of the guide. It made us very uncomfortable and we had to write a recommendation we didn't really believe in.

I apologize for this! I believe we didn't do our work well to set the expectations right (Golden Temple is part of our other tour itinerary). This is new learning for us and we will brainstorm on how to make tweaks to our itinerary. To be completely fair, we didn't receive any such feedback from our previous 400 guests who took this tour and it seems we got deluded with the success. Thank you for pointing this out. I assure you would have a 10x better experience the next time you are with us.

The star attraction of Amrtsar is always Golden temple but not too many people know that city on pedals offer a 4 am morning walk and 7 pm evening walk which includes the book ceremony, interior of Golden temple kitchen and the entire very interesting history and stories of Golden temple in all these years!!
I had taken morning 4 am walking tour lasting about 2 to 2.5 hours. Loved the story telling method of information and
    Loved every minute of it!!

We very much enjoyed our early morning Amritsar Heritage Walking Tour. Our two guides were knowledgable, very friendly, enthusiastic and good company. We loved that this walking tour included the opportunity to taste some street food, as well as to find out more about Amritsar itself, and the food we tasted was absolutely delicious. The experience was excellent value for money. I would not absolutely recommend City on Pedals to other travellers.
