      They did not reply.
I emailed them with request for dates and pricing information. They did not reply. Surprised by this, they seem very well established online. You cannot book in advance on their website so makes planning tours with them hard. I found another site Planet Amritsar which allows planning in advance and booking process is transparent!

      City on pedals- morning tour
City on pedals has been a beautiful jewel found on trip adviser. Not too many people know the walking tours which they offered to us at 4 am. We had to meet our guide outside of Harmandir saheb in the pristine hours of morning. We had a complete tour of 2.5 hours which took us from interiors of Harmandir saheb, the book ceremony, kitchen and ending it with warm tea! It was a mesmerizing experience with variety of stories of past and present times. The most fascinating place was kitchen. It was worth every minute! Must do!

Fantastic experience! Absolutely recommend this tour!
This review is so long over due. What a wonderful experience! I loved this tour. I can’t remember the guide’s name now, but she was fantastic—lots of personality, extremely knowledgeable, and knew so many people at the Temple. We got to see so much too—behind the scenes at the food kitchen, inside the Golden Temple itself, tea at the food kitchen. It was a magical experience in the dark hours of the morning. I enjoyed it so much that I booked another tour with her for the next day.

      Early morning walking tour
The star attraction of Amrtsar is always Golden temple but not too many people know that city on pedals offer a 4 am morning walk and 7 pm evening walk which includes the book ceremony, interior of Golden temple kitchen and the entire very interesting history and stories of Golden temple in all these years!! I had taken morning 4 am walking tour lasting about 2 to 2.5 hours. Loved the story telling method of information and Loved every minute of it!!

      Rememberinf Heritage
Last year, we had visited this historical and religious city of Amritsar. The new developed Heritage walking street, must be visited by every visitors. All heritage and religious sites are connected with one street. Best place for one day walk and full of eating places and shopping.

Book a tour with COP, you won’t regret it!
We took 3 tours with Sam from City on Pedals in our 2 days in Amritsar. We took the walking food tour, the Golden Temple tour, and the Village tour. All 3 were more than we could have expected! The food we tried on the food tour was delicious and we learned a lot about the city between stops. The Golden Temple tour was very informative and essential to our understanding of the temple’s significance. And the Village tour should be on every Amritsar visitor’s agenda. It’s an experience you just can’t get if you stay within the city. We met some of the kindest people, saw the beautiful agricultural side of the region, and had a delicious, home cooked lunch. We would recommend City on Pedals to everyone who visits Amritsar!

      Great introduction to Amritsar
I booked 5 Trips online. This was an easy process with good confirmation. The starting point of the Partition museum is less than ten minutes walk from the Golden Temple. Sam our guide was guide and he told us about the culture and heritage of the city. This included some hidden gems which we would not have found ourselves. This tour took us through side streets with a couple of food stops which was great. A great introduction and a great guide

It was a great stay at CityOnPedals. Everything was so perfectly neat and clean. I took #foodtour which was really worth and must. I really don't wanted to leave Amritsar as I was enjoying my stay, it was so relaxing that I extended my tour by 3 days. The staff was great, very friendly with Family type of feeling. It felt like home.

This was my second visit to Amritsar and I was looking forward to exploring beyond The Golden Temple, Jaliyan Wala Bagh and The Wagah Border. At City On Pedals, I not only had the most comfortable stay, but I also got the opportunity to go for 3 bike tours, exploring the best of everything in Amritsar. Out of all the tours, The Morning Heritage and The Food Night would always remain my favourite.
Hopefully, I'll be back soon for the rest of the bike tours!

Delicious food, great company, excellent way to spend the evening. I went along with my colleagues on this food tour of Amritsar. I have already done their morning tour before and this was a new tour. The food stops chosen were very good and people who are working there are motivated. We tried nearly 15 different dishes, all in just a little over 3 hours. There was traffic but we were often taking inside streets through residential complexes to reach our places. There were enough safety equipment such as bicycle flash lights, helmets, glowing jackets and 3 guides around our group who were making sure we have a great time on the road. Aman and Harman were our main guides. They expressed their plans to start corporate tours and a travelers hostel in the upcoming time. I wish them best of luck.

I really appreciate their efforts to design and curate this bicycle food tour. This is a great introduction to the street food of Amritsar, starting for appetizers, snacks, drinks, dinner and sweets. The whole experience was very good and was fun to go to all the places on bicycle. My friends made many videos and took photos of our groups and the delicious food. It is a great activity to be done with friends. Glad to have done it. Even in summers, this was a beautiful experience.

These guys are absolutely the best. Being a food blogger myself I wanted to do something of this sort and I loved every single moment I was doing this tour. The tour guide was really friendly and knew every spot in the city. One of the best experiences I have had in recent times. The best part was the Food and the Cycle Tour. These guys also helped us take some amazing pictures which have helped me. The best experience was reaching the final destination and having that amazing Butter chicken from Charming Chicken. I would recommend this to everyone who is going to amritsar.
    You guys are the best.
    Keep up the good work

I would have never imagined myself riding a bike in the craziness that is India, but my god was this an amazing and safe experience thanks to the guides with us. It was so much more enjoyable than other food tours we've taken thanks to the "exercise" we were getting between stops. I can't recommend this tour enough, one of the highlights of our trip to india. Thanks again guys!

I know eating local food tour in India might be scary for many people but these guys from City on Pedals will make sure to take you to local places yet with super good quality and using good products. So dont be afraid and just ENJOY IT. We tried at least 7 different local dishes plus deserts.

One of the things I enjoyed the most about this tour was getting to know whats behind each of the dishes that we tried (curiosities, cultural staff, how to prepare them, etc).

In addition to that, roaming around the city looking for the best places to eat with a bycicle is FUN.

When making my list of things to do in Amritsar, a few things kept popping up, especially when asking around; "Eat the street food!". "Visit the golden temple pre-dawn!". "Go see the border closing!".

City on Pedals' available tours perfectly matched that todo list. So when it came time to book, I figured, why not use them as a one-stop shop and stay at the hostel as well. How wrong could 200 5-star possibly reviews be?

Expectations met, and exceeded. The owners and guides were helpful, accommodating, flexible, knowledgeable, and made my time in Amritsar far more pleasant than trying to do all this stuff on my own.

Only caution would be that the bicycle tours are not for the faint of heart, but that's hardly their fault, since most of India isn't exactly bike friendly.

I did the Street Food Bicycle Tour, Wagah Border Tour, overslept the Golden Temple tour, and stayed in the hostel.

    I'd strongly recommend it.

City on Pedals have done their research and found some nice places in the old city that you would otherwise just overlook. It is indeed possible to cycle in India (who would have thought?) and I was surprised how empty the old town is in the morning hours.
