The full day excursion was an unforgettable experience from the moment we set off in the wooded valleys around Gramado to Bente Goncalves. So much to see along the way. The Italian tableau of the settlement of the wine area was informative fun and interesting. The winery visit was also interesting and the setting of the visit in the Aurora cellars was informative. The optional Italian meal was an experience to be recommended well worth price for a chance to sample a plethora of Italian dishes. The ride on the train far exceeded the expectations of an heritage train journey packed with musical presentations in traditional costume, singing and dancing all inspired by the great Italian musical history. Wine tasting added not a little to the conviviality of the whole. Meeting many people who were equally enjoying the experience on offer added to the enjoyment. Brilliant!!!

The guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful. However, the work of the service that provided the guide was totally unacceptable: . They provided 2 phone numbers, but it was impossible to make a successful call. . They cancelled a tour without any warning because they had scheduled it for the wrong city. . They changed the date of another tour arbitrarily and without any warning. . They provided the wrong hotel name to the guide. . Apparently the work carelessly with hand notes because they had my wife's name, the name of the city and the name of the hotel all wrong.

Everything was good. I also received lunch for free. Personally if I had the possibility I would have gone there on my own, but I don't have a car so I decided to book the tour. Great staff

Image on website is misleading. Expected a hike along the natural river edge and base of canyon area. Resulted in a walk on concrete paver paths and a dirt service road with vehicles passing by us. Bus ride to location is on paved roads and dirt roads. Later section is rough and ride becomes quite bumpy on the bus. Lunch was a salami meat sandwich, green apple, cinnamon roll/bread and juice. Far from Brazilian treats in my opinion as per the description! Views of canyon are stunning and only positive part of experience. Tour guide was knowledgeable of history and plants of the area.

Lots of fun. I joined the bus in Gramado. I speak very little Portuguese, but found that many of the people who take this tour speak English. I sat and mingled with several of the other tourists and had a great time.

Pickup from hotel lobby in time, but only possible from Gramado or Canela. No other option even if your hotel is located in Nova Petropolis. 40 min bus tour to party room in Nova Petropolis. No music on the tour, no party feeling during bus trip. The same on way back to Gramado hotel. A sulent (sleeping?) bus. Good show from 4 couples in original clothes. Musicians did also a good job. Described as „best German food“ this is not true ( I AM GERMAN). Due to the queue where you pay, you have paid 4h for fun and gotten 4h minus 2x40min minus queue to pay. Summary: Nice pastime. Limited fun factor. That Germany shown is 100 years old.

I purchased an English guided tour and the guide didn't speak English. On entry to the park was forced to pay R$50 even though this was advertised as already included in my ticket, and there is no mobile signal there so can't log on and show it off your mobile. The company only leases the tour from a larger bus company, and basically wiped their hands of responsibility when I complained at the office. In fairness to the larger bus company they swiftly acknowledged the wrong and offered part refund but I've yet to received. Luckily met passengers on board who spoke English to help me, but I wouldn't have purchased knowing there was no English speaking assistance
