This tour is run by very knowledgeable and caring guides who make sure you stay with them from start to finish. It is as informative as it is amazing. Nick and Pedro took us on a half day tour of secret waterfalls you will never get to see in this beautiful area. You will have to hike through the jungle and wearing the correct shoes are a must - which you can rent from them. Our group whom we’re paired with us simply because they booked the same time slot as us were fantastic. We made friends, took photos of one another, helped one another when there was a need. I’ll be straightforward, it’s not the easiest of hikes but it is doable and you have to follow instructions given in advance and keep your attention focused on the path. You walk through water, on rocks, on and around trees. Being in decent shape is a plus and due to that I handled this trip without incident. Go, I promise you will enjoy it. But have the right shoes and attire they suggest. Wear sunscreen and bug spray. It will be a highlight of your trip.

We had an amazing time with Jeferson, super friendly and he let us adventure a bit on our own and took loads of amazing pictures! He's very knowledgeable about the surrounding and general history of the place - and all in fluent English. The activity itself is really fun (and very wet), we had a great morning exploring and having fun in the waterfalls! One of the highlight of the activity was when he took us to a platform where you could jump in the river from a few meters high, was amazing! Would definitely recommend this activity!

Both the hikes were great. Jefferson was a great guide. Took care of us well. Off the beaten path for sure. We encountered no one else during the hike. Very tranquil and nice.

The trip was INCREDIBLE!! The waterfalls were beautiful and our guide, Bianca, knew so much about the area’s plants and animals. Swimming in the falls was so much fun and an experience we couldn’t have had anywhere else. We did the morning trip and it was a perfect half day. Also, we were coming from the Argentina side and they picked us up at the border, so that might be an option if you’re crossing for the trip. Definitely recommend!!!! El viaje fue INCREÍBLE!! Las cataratas eran bellísimas y nuestra guía, Bianca, sabía tanta de las plantas y animales del área. Nadando en las cataratas fue tan tan divertido y una experiencia que no podríamos haber tenido en cualquier otro lugar. Hicimos lo de la mañana y fue un gran empieza al día. Vinimos del lado Argentino y nos recogieron a la frontera; eso podría ser opción si está cruzando por el viaje. Recomiendo por cierto!!!!

We took the “secret falls” tour during our trip to Iguazu, and it was so much fun! Our guide was very helpful and picked us up at the Brazilian border since we were staying on the Argentina side. Really cool to get to swim in the water!

Took the half day trip in the afternoon. From leaving the hostel to returning was about 3,5 hours. The first trail is through the rain forest to a very nice water fall into the Iguacu River where you can also take a swim. The landscape is absolutely amazing there. The second is through the forest and along 3 water falls. Also quite nice. We ate some fresh tangerines from the tree there. The guide was amazing and spoke German, a nice plus. I was there in the off season, so nobody else was on the trails or the trip. Which was very nice. All in all very worth it and a recommendation.

We did the afternoon and evening Secret falls tour with the Luau at the end. It was brilliant! Of my Brazil trip, I place this with top 3 activities we did along with watching the parade in Sambadrome hospitality box and dinner at Marius Degustare. Of course, the Waterfalls most amazing but in terms of activities, this is was immersive and fun.

We took the half day tour and we really enjoyed it. The tour guides were also very friendly and spoke perfect english. There were no issues with hotel pickup, they sent us more information 1 day before on whatsapp. The tour consists of walking along rivers and stopping about 5 times to swim and walk under waterfalls. It's best to walk around in swimsuits and open sporty shoes, because you will get wet. It is a very easy walk, not at all demanding, but you do have to be careful and watch where you're stepping. The water is dark from the iron in the red soil, so you have to be careful not to hit any rocks while swimming. In the event of an accident, they accompany you to a private hospital and cover all the fees. The tour guides also take photos of you all the time and send them to you on Whatsapp with no extra charge. Thanks again to our tour guides and driver for the great tour!

Brilliant day out with great guides, well worth the money. Would recommend to anyone. I really enjoyed it. The full day tour is definitely the way to go.

We did the shortest trail and it was short and accessible. We could swim in small rapids and pools in the river. I wish I had more time and I wouldn't have done one of the longer trails. I saw photos and it looked totally worth it for the views and the waterfalls.

The hike was really interesting - It was fun to cross creeks and we followed the river up and down. There were lots of mini waterfalls to look at and wonderful photo opportunities. This was a really exciting and adventurous hike for me. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who likes hiking. Jeferson is a wonderful hiking guide and great photographer! He took care of us (even me, the amateur hiker). Jeferson was so kind to loan me a hiking stick to make my tour easier. As a solo traveler, he helped me take so many photos. If you can walk ~20,000 steps a day without problems, I strongly encourage you to try this excursion. You won’t have thousands of people sharing the same spot so it’s really special.

Wow! I don't know how to put this experience into words but I will remember this tour forever. We had the pleasure of having Roberto and William as our tour guides. Roberto spoke perfect English and had a lot of information. The highlights included every waterfall. You get to get in, under, around all of them. We even got to jump off a small cliff into the river below. We sat in a pool at the top of a 40 foot waterfall and then went down to see it as it emptied into the Iguazu river. We encountered a thunderstorm which seemed to make it even more authentic. It is close to town but it feels like you are in a remote jungle. You can tell our guides love their jobs as they got to play in the water with us. You need to wear clothes that you can get wet, and sturdy water/hiking shoes. The trails are somewhat rustic and challenging but worth the hike every time. Thank you Roberto and William for a fantastic day!

This site, while incredibly beautiful with stunning photo opps. Now, we booked the trail hike and the boat excursion. The trail hike path is far to narrow for the crowds and we're here off season. Upon finishing the riverboat portion we emerged, having to walk up the final part as there was only one smallish elevator and at least one hundred people in line. Once at the top, there was no signage directing you to the boat ride, wandering around trying to ask for help, most staff didn't speak English. The one fellow who did, directed us to the wrong bus stop. The boat excursion, once we found it, was really the only professionally organized part of our visit. Additionally, the road thru the park had several areas of construction requiring single lane traffic causing unnecessary wait times in the bus, as I only saw one fellow with a shovel doing any kind of work. Finally, the restaurant on the way out had possibly some of the worst food I've seen in some time. I took it back to the counter and told them it was horrible, they just gave me a blank stare. Almost not worth going based on the operational circus and lack of any customer service.
