About
This tour will be full day, leaving the hotels in the morning and returning in the late afternoon. Located 167 km from Fortaleza, considered one of the most exotic, paradisiacal, rustic and primitive of the Ceará coast. Discovered by tourists from various parts of Brazil and abroad, looking for mystical and high-spirited places. Canoa (as it is called by the natives), has a main street where it gathers all the infrastructure of the place, and that the spirit of Ceará's good mood was called 'broadway', with inns, bars and restaurants. Going down the cliffs, towards the beach, our visitors will find several options of beach huts (small restaurants) that serve the most varied seafood dishes. It is also possible to make the option of buggy ride through the dunes in order to get to know the region better or to sail in a typical raft (OPTIONAL). Canoa Quebrada Beach is symbolized by the famous half moon and star

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- O2316DZthaisa0 contributionsEnjoyable dayGreat value for money. Even though I don’t understand Portuguese, the different spots we visited and the additional boogie tour I paid was definitely worth it.Written 26 December 2024
- Gulfportdoc0 contributionsA fun city tourWe had a good time with André Távora as our guide. He took us along the beach to explain a staute, to the old town redevelopment, and to big city market. Where we shopped and ate. A very personable and accomadating guide.Written 13 December 2024
- EXNYER0010 contributionsAwesome.Fortaleza is a complex city which embraces all its strengths. History is respected and its museums and public library are truly impressive. I recommend going to the tourist center at Mucuripe beach to get one of the tour books that have the extra bonus of gifts when you present the book at the visited attraction. As for the beaches, they are many with unique personalities. Plan to visit them all, you won't be disappointed. You must go to one of the two Chico Carangaga restaurants. These are crazy cool and offer the beach, great food awesome service, private pools and just a pure party atmosphere.Written 22 October 2024
- 796lul0 contributionsBe careful with the Guide Rodrigues in FortalezaI booked 2 trips with Vitorino Turismo in Fortaleza, one of them was the trip of 3 beaches with the Excellent English-Spanish-Portuguese guide Fatima Franca and the second one was the City Tour with Rodrigues. The tour with Fatima was organized very well. The way how she introduced Brazil and Fortaleza and those 3 beaches was full of the professional passion and speech , great mood , bright emotional stories and always with a smile. But i am so disappointed and upset with the City tour. Rodrigues was late for 15 min, he didn't introduce himself to us, as a guide, he behaved like a driver and when asked the girl seating already in the car :" Is it our guide ? She said :"No, he is a driver , he is driving us to the bus" And when we picked up the couple from Sao Paolo it was a surprise to realize that we were only 4 people in the car and Rodrigues was our guide . The way how he started the tour was: " Poor me, i have to work on Saturday , it is not a privet tour with the money, it is a group tour with only 4 people and i have to be a driver and a guide". He started to do his job in a lazy mood with the behavior , like we owed him . He spoke in Portuguese and he gave me just a couple sentences in English . I said to him for 2 times : " Please speak English , Translate what you said in Portuguese , I paid for this service." He answered:"OK,OK" but kept on speaking only in Portuguese. I could not stand it anymore and i said loudly: "DO YOUR JOB Properly , Translate everything you said in English." The answer was miserable:" It is not a privet tour , I am not obliged to speak English ,If you talk to me loudly, i will drop you in your hotel straight away." He didn't humiliate me by this answer , he humiliated the company he has been working for . I took 3 tours in Recife and 2 tours in Salvador with English speaking guides and the travel companies organized those tours very well , like it was with Fatima. After my complaining to the manager of Vitorino Turismo , Rodrigues suddenly changed his behavior ))))). He found an energy to work properly, not to be lazy anymore, his speech was professional in English, it was stick to the point , no more unnecessary words. Thanks a lot to the manager of Vitorino Turismo for the not ruined city tour on Saturday!Written 2 March 2024
- Soda80 contributionsHere's Some TipsWe had, for us, a really unique experience and probably wouldn't change much since we had a fantastic day! I highly recommend this trip with the sand buggy. We hired Vitorino Tourismo to do a custom tour to pick us up at the ship in Fortaleza. I booked a year in advance and over that period it took 50 texts and emails to get answers and get details straight. I was therefore nervous that they would actually show up. They did, in a bus that was older than expected, the guide's microphone worked sporadically but it didn't matter much since we couldn't understand the guide's accent and we asked her just to relax and enjoy the ride. She was at the port very early and was eager to please. We were taken to a place just out of town (Morro Branco) to pick up our six buggies then we rode in procession, as fast as any car, through town - no seat belt, no helmet and no waiver to sign. Despite being told we wanted no shopping experience the guide then walked us off the road to the stalls, so once I realized this, I motioned to her and our party of 24 to move back to the walkway (everyone was relieved since this would have added to our limited time). The walk down to the beach was longer than expected, for most it was really worth it, others who were not in good shape, struggled holding up the rest of the group. The buggy ride was exhilarating, so was stopping to swim briefly in the warm ocean and at the pond. We ended at a beachside restaurant the guide suggested and felt no pressure to purchase, but many did anyway. The bus met us there at Praia das Fontes and took us back to the ship so we didn't need to double back to Morro Branco. Vitorino Tourismo tour cost was extremely reasonable about one-third of the ship's tour that didn't do as much and doubled back to Morro Branco. Again, I'd highly recommend this company. You just need to persevere with the booking and learn from our experience. Oh one last thing, one couple had their credit card compromised paying the buggy company (separate from the tour company). The couple said it was the first time they used the card.Written 14 February 2024
- mathilde33660 contributionsAverage experiencePositive aspects of our experience: - confirmation about the address pick up and time, bus on time. - the guide seemed to be nice (but we couldn't understand what she was saying). - Canoe Quebrada & Morro Branco sightseeing are wonderful. Negative aspects of our experience: - we booked for a French guide tour and we got a Portuguese speaker one. Unfortunately we don't speak the Language so it was really hard to understand everything what was going on. Kindly the people on the bus helped translating in English. - the guide tried to sell us the buggy activity (95$R) that is supposed to be optional but she was very insisting saying we wouldn't see the colors of we were walking (which wasn't true). She insisted many times and seemed very annoyed we didn't book it. - they don't tell you but the Praia dos frontes, you can only see it if you do the buggy tour. So unfortunately we didn't get the chance to see it and had no explanation. It's not 3 playa day but only 2 and if you want 3 you pay 95$ extra but it wasn't clear and not presented like this in the website. - we got back on time at 11am after exploring the Morro branco cliffs, but she said the other people doing the buggy trip wouldn't be back before 12pm so we waited one hour doing nothing while we could have walked more into the beautiful cliffs. - I tried to contact the customer service for some help to change to another English speaking bus maybe but they weren't very helpful, saying the tour operator wasn't getting back to them. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend.Written 7 April 2023

- gsx19900 contributionsFun, but brief trip to amazing jericoacoaraReally fun and affordable trip with a couple of exceptions. They stop once they get near jericoacoara so everyone can get out of bus an buy a 30R permit to enter the national park. This recess took almost an hour. The cost of the blue lagoon went up to 15R. Even though all the literature said there would be a bilingual tour guide, don’t be surprised if your tour does not. Right now 90% of the tourists are Brazilians. I’m fine with that just don’t claim the the tour will be in English. Otherwise the company did a very decent job. It’s a must do if in Fortaleza. In fact I regret not spending a few days in Jericoacoara had I known how nice it was.Written 28 August 2021

Wonderful tour and amazing place.
The guide Carol is very well informed, knows how to explain everything and indicate the best routes.
In Morro Branco, we paid 90 per person on the buggy ride (with discount, because it was 120; this amount was the 65 per person of the transfer). Worth every penny.
We were in 4 people. At the restaurant in Broken Canoa, ordering a dish was enough for us (Restaurant of the Moon).

Kim, our guide, was very attentive and kind. He made contact in advance for the tour, gave explanations along the way in a very fun way, in addition to giving tips on how we could better enjoy the tour and the city of Fortaleza.
I didn't give it 5 stars because of the Van we went with. I counted about 12 stickers inside and outside the car with prohibition messages - which included not drinking any liquid, eating any food or even gum (?). How can you not consume anything on a 3-hour trip to a tourist route? It ended up becoming a joke on the tour because people said the company's name should be "banned". It's a good option for those who don't have children or people who can't go without eating for so long.

The guide, Rejane, was very friendly, with us, extremely communicative and telling peculiarities of the region and the local. And the ride was amazing, there we had three options to take, we decided to take the buggy ride, it was pretty cool. The beach is beautiful, the water was warm, everything perfect.

The experience with Vitorino was incredible. The guide Dilma is very experienced, guides you well about the places and knows the city's stories like no one else. The driver, Marinheiro, is always helpful and very experienced in driving. Anyone who comes to Fortaleza must visit Canoa Quebrada.

The place is beautiful and incredible, definitely carved by God. The support point was essential to stay well and calm (my tip: Antônio do Coco could have a shower inside the bathroom, other than that, nothing else to point out). I thank Vitorino for his experience and for being extremely punctual in everything they set out to do and execute. For the second time I choose them and I don't regret it and, if it's up to me, I will always choose them.
A comment about the Dilma Fontes guide: What an incredible and friendly woman! He loves to talk, treats tourists like his own children and takes care of every detail during the journey. I highly recommend her. If you come to Fortaleza, I hope you are guided by it, you will love it! And for those who travel alone, like me, she is even more of a mother. Thank you, Dilma. ❤️ (Ps: Albert)

This was more just round trip transport from Fortaleza to canoe quebrado. However they fulfilled their mission 100% and this guide also spoke English and tried to include me in with the other 8 Brazilian guests on the trip. They basically drop you off at a higher end resort for 5 1/2 hours which gives you access to the beach, a pool and dining/drinking on the beach. Other activities are available for purchase once you get there such as dune buggy, kite surfing etc. Vitorino was on time, reliable and safe. Recommend 100% and would use again.

All the people who served us, from the first contact, were very attentive and receptive. It caught our attention, our guide Clesiana and the driver Emanuel won us over. She in particular is endowed with joy and charisma, an understanding of the geography of our country, as well as a humility that captivated everyone. Likewise, the buggy drivers and attendants at the places we stopped were always attentive. The ride on the northeastern titanic and pau de arara completed everything. It is worth noting the beauties of the fortress here. We will definitely be back!

Canoa Quebrada is beautiful, like all the other beaches in Ceará. Every year I travel with Vitorino and always recommend it to friends and acquaintances.
The tent we stayed at is great, delicious food... Vitorino always takes its customers to the best tents in Ceará.
Our guide "Ana", as we affectionately call her, cheered us up throughout the long journey... my 10 year old son was enchanted by her.
I just wanted to make an observation... I think that on tours we arrive at the tent very late, at most we could arrive at 9:30 am for tourists to make the most of the day.

The only thing I feel dissatisfied is that the trip is actually Portuguese though it was written bilingual when I booked. The guide is nice. He found a English-speaking person right at the restaurant, but I miss all the introductions along the bus drive.
For the future traveler, it is necessary to know that the activities (such as dune buggy, boating, etc) are optional extra. The trip fee you see here basically just include round bus. The buggy drive cost around 70, and Jangada is 30 just in case you want to know..
The activities are arranged a little unorganized. Dune buggy is fun! It lasts whole morning. You will get stop in different spots to take picture, have some rest or just explore the area yourself. Around 12, you back resort. You can choose to attend other activities or enjoy beach yourself. I chose jangada at first, but nobody came to call, so I didn’t know where to meet and when to start.
