This tour was probably the best thing we’ve done around DC. Wayne is absolutely amazing. I would tour any place where he is the guide!

Despite the rain, our guide, Wayne, was excellent. The timing of the historical information and stops for dinner were nicely spaced. The three restaurants were very good and we had a good time with the other guests as well.

It was a great tour, a great guide, and great food. Highly recommend. We truly appreciate the food choices and itinerary selected.

This was a great tour of Georgetown. I learned a lot about the history and sampled some of the cuisine of Georgetown. The Spanish Tapas at Bodega were Superb!!! The tour started at 3pm and ended at 6:30pm, so I got to experience Georgetown in the daylight and after sundown. Robert, the guide did an excellent job sharing his knowledge, and he kept us moving at a good pace.

Great food at 3 of the 4 spots and interesting historical facts. Mexican restaurant was not my favorite ( little too spicy and tasted just like any other Mexican food I have had) but other 3 places were amazing so totally worth it. My only other complaint was that the guide maybe told a little too much history and I felt a little rushed with my food at the last 2 places. For me it’s all about the food so that made give 4 stars instead of 5.

We had such a great experience on our Georgetown food tour! Our tour guide, Robert, was personable, professional, easy going, and full of local knowledge. You could tell he has a great relationship with all of the restaurants we visited. Both Robert and the staff at the restaurants were really thoughtful about accommodating my dietary restrictions. We visited 3 different restaurants, with drinks available for purchase at each one, and a bakery. The food and service were incredible at each place. You will definitely be full at the end of the tour! I would recommend DC Metro Food Tours, and Robert specifically, to anyone who loves exploring new places through food.

Absolutely amazing. We had another lovely couple on the tour. Our tour guide was simply out of this world - he had so much information- he was funny and great.

When guide was texted that we could not find her, she replied, “I am with the rest of the group.” Not helpful! She did not answer her phone. Another “lost” person saw a small group across the street.

Christian was our guide. He was great, down to his personality! The group we were with were all friendly. Stops were adequate. Wished the Mexican dish was not ice cold (it was a shrimp enchilada). The Italian stop was amazing! You got water at each location (as you sat and ate), so don't carry any with you. If you want to order "drinks" at each stop you should do so right when you sit down so you don't have to chug your drink before we leave...LOL Tour ended with a delicious macaroon stop, which was perfect!

Our tour guide was very nice, knowledge, but there wasn’t much conversation in the beginning, it was just her talking about history, pop culture or politics, which wasn’t relevant or entertaining. It would have been a better experience if she spoke about the food and details behind the restaurants we visited. However, as time went on, our group got more chatty and we enjoyed the food at every spot.

Christian was a great guide - a native of Washington he knew a lot about its history. Flavio's was delicious and the portions were very generous (biggest gnocchi I have ever had)! I'm not a huge seafood eater so I would have made some different choices at the Spanish Tapas and Mexican restaurant but my children loved all the food. The macaron at the end was very flavorful and delicious. We spent a good amount of time at each restaurant and we didn't feel rushed.

Christian was so easy to talk to and knew every detail about the tour stops and the history of anything in between. Would absolutely do this tour again and recommend it to anyone!

The tour was different than we expected but still so much fun! Wayne was knowledgeable and very funny! The food was good and it was a lot of it but definitely different than I was expecting.
