- BleuVioline0 contributionsFantastic Day Trip to Kuala SelangorHad a fantastic day trip to Kuala Selangor! The tour guide was very friendly and fluent in English. Eagle feeding was a great experience. Fireflies were a little subdued that night probably because of the earlier rain. Blue tears was out at sea in an ultra-fast speed boat! Restaurants are aplenty but the one next to the jetty (Yang Ming) was what our tour guide recommended which was cheap and good. Definitely worth the trip!Written 21 October 2024

- L5336DGhanss0 contributionsUnprofessionalVery bad experience. After I contacted them to pick me up to the KLIA airport I have been told to confirm the booking two days before departure. As I did so via whatsapp, they have been reading the confirmation message from my side but they have blocking me afterwards and did not reply at all. Probably because the pick-up time has been in the middle of the night and they don^t wanna service this late. Anyways not replying and simply blocking a constumer is very unprofessional. Cannot recommend this company at all!!!Written 19 February 2024
- vc201900 contributionsExcellent service and goes above and beyondI absolutely recommend KL Taxi Service for pick ups and drop offs in Kuala Lumpur Intl Airport. The driver, Fitri went above and beyond the level of service. Despite my flight arriving later than scheduled and being stuck in the immigration queue for 30 minutes, Fitri ensured that he would stay a d pick me up despite it being a late night pickup. Once he arrived, he gave me some helpful tips about Kuala Lumpur and good sightseeing spots during my stay. He is a friendly person and treated me like family. Thank you KL Taxi Service, I will definitely book again if I travel to Kuala Lumpur in the future. Thanks, VimalWritten 17 June 2023

Our taxi man Friti was such a gentleman and gave great information about our trip, places to eat and minded us at each stop to get best experience from visit. The tour itself on river was one of those life unforgettable moments.. the red eagles especially were beautiful but nobody mentions the hundreds of smail seagulls that are also there and are just nature at its best. Also stopped at beautiful temple and restaurant on way to river. Thanks Friti for everything.. you made our holidayWritten 24 February 2023

Brilliant day out! Ramzan, our driver and guide, was exceptional. From pick up at our hotel to drop off, his knowledge and info about Malaysia, Batu Caves and the elephant conservation was brilliant. Nothing was a problem, he even stopped randomly on the way back for us to try Durian - tastes better than it smells! He warned us of the monkey behaviour at Batu Caves - don’t have water bottles or plastic bags in the monkeys sight, you will lose them. The Elephant conservation park was a highlight. We took a behind the scenes educational tour (120MYR) which was amazing. Our elephant tour guide was fabulous. Got to feed and give a neck rub to the elephants. Saw 3 very large elephants have a river bath and got to meet 3 youngster which was wicked. The education around wild elephants and how they help them was exceptional. Note of help: Take cash to the elephant park. No card facilities out there. Thank you so much Ramzan for an amazing day out!

Was a lovely day trip out to the Elephant Conservation Centre (our guide wanted to make it clear it's NOT a sanctuary but a conservation centre where they mange elephant/human conflicts). We were picked up in a comfortable car and Amir was a friendly driver.
To be honest, there's really not that much to see there. We saw and interacted with 3 adults & 3 children elephants.
Just a heads up though - since the centre is free they will ask you to make a donation, so make sure you have some cash.
Our driver also recommended we do the guided tour and he was good enough to co-ordinate with one of his other drivers so that we could combine with another couple and split the 120 ringgit charge with them. Again though, bring cash and be prepared for this cost. I think the guided tour was worth it as you learn a lot more than just walking around the park and you got to get up close to all the elephants.
We didn't have enough cash so our driver kindly paid everything for us and he had an EFTPOS machine in his car so we could pay him back that way (& give a tip).

After all the positive reviews we booked this pricey trip. We found it disappointing. It's nothing more than a taxi driver.
We were picked up at the hotel and taken to the batu caves, where we were dropped off and we agreed that he would pick us up again in half an hour. Then we drove on to the elephant sanctuary, again we were dropped off and if we wanted a Guide what is actually needed to get close to the elephants then you have to pay extra for that. There were several people at that time who wanted that so you can share the costs but also.
Lunch is included, this is rice with a piece of chicken and a bottle of water.
The Guide at the elephant sanctuary is recommended by the way, our Guide was also very nice and has also done this with great enthusiasm.
Then we were taken back to our hotel.
All in all we could have just arranged this with grab / another tour for example that is really a lot cheaper. We were really under the impression that this would be something more like a taxi driver.
We would not recommend this trip, waste of your money.

Hi thanks for the review.. Is very subjective it depends on who join the tour.. About the nature guide is subjective u can choose if u want otherwise driver will guide u inside.. Same like a lunch.. Mentioned already lunch at local cafe inside elephant sanctuary.. We only can provide what food they provide only special request if 1 big bus coming.. Is really depends on traveller itself.. We cannot make all people happy with us.. As long as some bad review that can help us to improve and not to stay in same safe zone.. Thanks for the review

Excellent day visiting both the Batu Caves and the elephant sanctuary with Fitri! He was very kind and welcoming and full of great stories and facts about his country. We had a blast.
The caves themselves were stunning and worth the 272 stairs up in 34°+ heat. The elephant sanctuary was a massive bucket list item off the list. It was great to see how well taken care of the elephants are. We did the education tour at the sanctuary and I would highly recommend it as it involved a very up close experience.
I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone!

Great communication and punctual pick up from the hotel in KL. After a very short trip we arrived at the Batu Caves. What an amazing sight. The statue of Murugan is an incredible sight to see. Then you take the trek up the 300+ steps to go and see the inside of this breath taking cave. It was wonderful. After the climb down, we went back into the car to drive to the Elephant Sanctuary which is about 1.5 hours away. The drive is beautiful and Murali the driver was giving me all kinds of information about many of the things we saw on the way. We arrived at the Sanctuary and got checked in quickly. The only thing i wished was that there were more elephants. But it was nice to see how well these rescues are treated and I loved feeding them. Then we got back in the car and drove back to the hotel. The driver once more showed me many things and even drove up to the entrance of the palace where the King lives. Overall a very good tour. I enjoyed it very much and can recommend.

Extremely disappointed. I chose this day tour for my only open day for sightseeing in Malaysia. Tour was confirmed several days in advance along with two communications validating pickup location. Tour operator then cancelled the booking just 2.5 hours prior to start time, leaving no possibility of booking with another tour operator. Do not book with this company. Unreliable!

Fantastic day out. Caves were stunning from the outside, vibrant and impressive, but if you’ve been in lots of caves, the inside was interesting from the religious perspective, but a little underwhelming. The monkeys were hugely entertaining!
The elephant sanctuary was great. It was educational (you must get a guide) and lovely to see the great work they are doing there. Time with adult and young elephants was precious. Fantastic to see them enjoy the river too.
Faisal our driver was just the best!! He was kind, informative and clearly loves doing these trips. We had a great day - thank you Faisal!

It was a pleasure to make the tour with our guide Fitri. He gave us a lot information about Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur. We had also the opportunity to taste the famous Durian fruit . We liked it. Everything was wonderful. The elephant park as well as the Batu caves were worth to see. It was amazing, thanks to our guide.😀😀

Oh my god, it was amazing!!!!
We had two drivers. My car had Ramzam driving I’m so sorry I can’t remember the other drivers name (who was lovely by the way). What a lovely pair of guys. We got stuck in a jam on the highway, I think the time of day and time of year. 23/12/2023. Ramzam was lovely chatting too. Hugely informative and an absolute pleasure to be in the company of..!
So the Batu caves were as always very nice. It’s a bit steep if you’re not so good on your legs. This time there was no monkeys but I think it was a special day as there was loads of people there for possibly a celebration or pilgrimage. I saw a few people carrying (milk I think) on their heads in special vessels. It’s an actual temple at the top here, so please be courteous. You have to be covered up to be able to go up the steps to the top. It was amazing to be able to whiteness this. I’m so so very proud to of been able to.
Once we had been to the caves we headed on to the elephant sanctuary. We had a chicken rice meal on our arrival then met with our elephant vet/ guide ‘Dee’ who was hugely informative and ever so passionate about her role at the sanctuary. We found out that this place is a hospital for sick or injured elephants where they rescue them from injuries or trouble. Some of the elephants had lost limbs or tails or were injured and scared from tiger attacks or accidents. The keepers who work with the elephants really do their best for them all. They know the personalities of each of them. The trust between the keepers and each elephant was amazing to see. We watched them take the elephants to the river and wash them down. Both keeper and elephant ended up totally soaked but looked very very happy in the environment.
We got to feed some of the younger ones who loved taking the sugar cane from you while in their pens.
This place literally took my breath away filled with joy and love. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m still buzzing over how awesome this place actually is.
Huge thank you to the government for paying for this place, huge thank you to all the staff at the sanctuary who clearly do an amazing job that is clear to see they all love.
Plus a massive thank you to the your operators who we booked this.
Our drivers took us after to an unofficial stop for my 11 year old son to try durian the fruit. In the end we all tried it, my son and daughters, myself and my wife. I have to say it’s not to my liking but it was another amazing experience doing in this beautiful country. I’ve been to Malaysia probably 15 times now, my favorite place to be in the world!
Thank you to everyone who sorted the trip out. 🙏❤️

Hi there, are we able to still wash the baby elephants in the river with this tour. We did it about 6 years ago and now our 2 boys are a lot older and would like to find out if that’s possible still. Thank you.marc

When I went last year, they didn't do that anymore. They said that due to the pandemic they stopped this activity. Not sure they brought it back but last August they didn't do it.
