- Jamie0220 contributionsGood TourWould have been a 4-star review but on the return drive from KL to the cruise ship Ruben drove like a maniac. He was honking at everyone including pedestrians and very impatient and constantly lane changing and swerving. Batu Caves was my favorite stop, although I would have preferred him going in with me. He did go into other stops with me which were great.Written 21 March 2025

- Passport3530610 contributionsGreat day outA great day out visiting the Batu Caves which shouldn’t be missed but the inclusion of the Pewter and Batik factory was great. Our driver Rajah was very informative and gave us lots of additional information. Finished the day with a refreshing swim in the waterfall and a delicious local lunch.Written 11 March 2025
- hamsterjersey0 contributionsExcellent day outThe tour was excellent Rayhan Raj Naidu looked after us all day. First stopped at Pewter factory he was very knowledgeable, we learnt so much that we would not have known if we went on our own. At each stop he gave us plenty of time and tips on how best to enjoy our time. He made effort to ensure our lunch suited our tastes. His car was clean and comfortable. Excellent value.Written 11 March 2025

- Passport131022276180 contributionsA Great Trip to do!We loved our tour around the Batu Caves, hot springs and waterfall. Albinhar was so friendly and informative, we were so lucky to get him as a guide. The Batik and Pewter Tour were wonderful and possibly our favorite part of the tour. The artists at the Batik Tour were so talented, and our tour around the Pewter museum was so interesting. This trip has definitely made us want to come back and explore more of Kuala Lumpur.Written 6 March 2025
- Linda H0 contributionsGenting Highlands, great!Had a lovely time at Genting Highlands. The cable car was smooth, we had low lying clouds so visibility was limited however, this didn't spoil the experience. Stopped off at the Chinese temple, really lovely, places to eat and drink. Then we rode the cable car to the top for some outlet shopping, a great experience, loads of shops and places to eat. You could also visit the amusement Park, a really enjoyable day out.Written 6 March 2025
- NorthStar031479049150 contributionsGuide yourself, it’s easy. Avoid lazy guides.Do not use the guides. They are uninterested and do the bare minimum. Get a book and guide yourself, you can then utilise the off road trails, not the lazy tarmac, and bird until you are satisfied. Guides will leave you totally unfulfilled. The birding can be incredible if you max your time. The whole place has a colonial ghost town feel these days.Written 5 March 2025

The tour is 100% worth it, plus the guide I had, Albinhar bin Mohd fikal, made my tour everything I expected and more, first the punctuality to pick me up, and the kindness at all times, always attentive and having time to walk around and take photos. The orangutans are spectacular, the tour starts at 6 and is to get to take the first boat to the island and appreciate these creatures without so many people. Then we went to a temple in a cave with more than 400 stands, it is difficult, but it is possible, we went to explore Ipoh, the place is beautiful, it looks like bohemian Paris. Anyway, take the tour and with the agency Asni Tours and the best guide Albinhar bin Mohd fikal
Thanks for all

It was very good. The driver was very kind and gave me two toilet breaks in the middle of the three-hour trip. The tour was just right, the time was right, the schedule was right, and the Japanese were very grateful. If you get hungry on the way, they will stop by a restaurant or wait for you in front of that restaurant, and I think that price is cheaper now.

Great experience seeing the orang utan from such a short distance. The boat ride is every 45 minutes and quite punctual. The boat ride is around 10 mins time to the island and you'll be greeted by a proper structure. The orang utans are given freedom to wander in the wild, while us the visitors are enclosed in cages, viewing them from within. There are only around 15 or 16 orang utans so don't expect to see an army of them. This is good as they are aggressive by nature. Please do donate to support these organisations.

It was an early start to the day, a 3 hour car ride to the Bukit Merah Laketown resort. Our tour driver Aris was very helpful, polite, knowledgeable about the tour area, took our pictures and sent the pictures immediately on whatsapp, very respectful and even opened the car door for me every time, a very chivalrous man. We stopped once on the way for some snacks and restroom. Got to sleep during the car ride so the early start was not too bad. Had lunch at the Bukit Merah laketown resort while waiting for our boat. 15 mins boat ride to Orang Utan island where we got to see 6 Orang Utans on the day. After that headed to Perak Cave temple and the steep and narrow stairs to the top (~400-500 steps) almost left me breathless but my husband climbed the stairs effortlessly and encouraged me along the way. After that we stopped at Birch memorial clock tower, and walked through Ipoh heritage walk and concubine lane and bought some Ipoh white coffee, Teh tarik and candies to take back home for friends/families, and then we went to see the Ipoh railway station. Didn’t spend much time at the train station though as other than it being a nice building it was just a train station. The last stop was at the Kek Lok Tong cave temple. Another cave temple which was very beautiful and much cooler inside the cave. There is also a garden behind the cave which was very beautiful. After the tour it was time to head back to our hotel in KL, a journey which was only supposed to be 2.5 hours took us almost 5 hours because of the traffic so prepare yourself for some long journey incase of unexpected traffic. A long day but it was worth the visit. Higy recommend the tour when in Malaysia.

What a fabulous place the sanctuary is. It was a day the traffic was bad but Rajan our driver and guide was very informative and we got to the jetty for the boat on time. Wonderful to meet the orangutans, with such sad tales some of them but also funny characters. The temple is astounding, so beautiful and the artwork amazing. Big thanks to Rajan and we enjoyed our day!

The Orangutan Island tour with Rajan was a good experience. It took 3.5 hours from KL city. Rajan accompanied us on the tour which lasted approx. 30 minutes, sharing some knowledge about orangutans as we tried to spot them in their enclosures. We managed to see about 5 of the inhabitants of the island. The tour was organized adequately, and Rajan was very friendly and easy going, providing local knowledge and insight into the culture of Malaysia.

This is a 12hr trip so be prepared to travel! However our driver Rajan made the trip very informative and interesting offering lots of information about Kuala Lumpur and all the sites we passed by. It was very interesting to hear about the industry and cultural of Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia and answered all the questions we threw at him. I would recommend this trip and hopefully you will get Rajan add your driver too!

We were picked up on time by our friendly and nice driver Albinhar and he had interesting information to tell about all the destinations.
The trip to the orangutans was also a great experience and informative. The boat trip there and the location on the island were great. Also that the man is there in the cage. The temple afterwards was very impressive. An exceptional location with all the rock formations. The stop in Ipoh was unfortunately much too short. There you could only rush a few minutes through an alley. So unfortunately we missed an alley that I wanted to see so badly.(Now I know by my own research :Market Lane)I didn't have time to look for it.All other destinations there are in my opinion superfluous (train station, bell tower). No idea why this is in the program. Then prefer more time in the alleys where beautiful murals would have been to be discovered.
But our driving Albinhar I highly recommend! He is very reliable and nice.He speaks very good English and responds to all questions.

A long way to go in a day. Pick up & comfort of vehicle good. Guide friendly& English a challenge but we understood each other. Needed longer on Island & a bit poor Disney land where boats are picked up. Chinese temple very good, don’t bother with railway station.

Dear David,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent experience. We're delighted to hear that you found the pick-up process smooth and the comfort of the vehicle satisfactory. It's great to know that the guide was friendly, even though there were some language challenges. Communication is key, and we appreciate your understanding.
We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the limited time on the island and the less-than-ideal experience at where boats are picked up. Your feedback is valuable, and we will certainly take it into consideration for future improvements. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Chinese temple visit.
We understand that everyone's preferences vary, and we regret to hear that the railway station did not meet your expectations. Your input helps us continually refine our offerings and enhance the overall customer experience.
Thank you again for choosing our services, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an improved experience in the future.
Safe travels!!
