- ryandimi0 contributionsSCAM.Total scam. Stole our $350 after booking us on the wrong date and refusing to correct it. The company ghosted us as soon as we told them it was the wrong date and did nothing to help. Reported it to PayPal who also did nothing. No refunds or date change even though it was booked wrong on their end.Written 17 March 2025

The bus was comfortable and well maintained. The guide Sasi was well informed and witty. Yes, you can talk a taxi to the caves but you will miss out of the area background and history. Go ahead and book the tour, highly recommend.Written 17 March 2025

Very good tour sightseeing the historical Mallaca, really enjoyed it with our tour guide mr.Willson and our driver Ravi. The lunch was also good. I recommend it for a day tour, preferably to go during the week time as the weekend is quite crowded in the city, there are many tourists and locals

We embarked on the Day Tour to Melaka, led by the responsible and knowledgeable guide, Johnson. The itinerary was filled with rich historical information, offering a jam-packed experience. The tour came at a great price, inclusive of a delightful lunch served in a local restaurant with a round table setup, providing a chance to connect with our fellow guests. The lunch itself was truly amazing.

Great day trip to Melaka. Wasn't feeling like doing it by myself so this tour was a great opportunity. Plus, seeing the price and what was included it is really worth the value. Melaka is a really pleasant city, I enroyed strolling by the river bank and go through temples to temples in temple street. It is small, but you can see the diverse culture and the vibrant atmosphere. Plus the weather was reallt great (even too hot!) so it was really a great day.
Our guide Johnson was great, informative and taught us a lot about the place.
I remove one star for the lunch which wad honestly a bit average. There is plenty of delicious dishes in Malaysia, but this restaurant served stuff that I could eat in my local chinese restaurant back home. It was good but it wasn't memorable.
I also felt a bit rushed overall. I understand the time constraint, especially with so many things to see and the pressure of not getting back topo late to avoid too much traffic jam in KL. But sometimes we barely had more than 15/20 to be in a certain place. Some would argue that it is enough to take a few pictures, but personally I like to take it a bit more the place I visit to remember them through memories and not some snapshots.
Still a great tour overall, I recommend to anyone who wants to break away a bit from Kuala Lumpur and see something else for a good price/value!

The tour went as scheduled. Johnson has briefed us at the start of the tour on what itinerary would look like and reminded us about the meeting places and time.
It helps that a simple drawn map is provided for everyone to take a photo.
The group that I was in were attentive to time and meeting places so the tour went smoothly. It was 2 hrs drive to Melaka but going back to KL city center took 2.5 due To heavier traffic vs morning.
It was a pleasant surprise that the bus passed by my hotel street so i asked to be dropped off the last minute and they gladly complied. It saved me time and hassle walking from Berjaya times square carrying a bagful of goodies from Jonker Street. 😅
Thank you!

Johnson is a very professiional guide, his stories were engaging and humourous. He is also very punctual so the group was always on time without unnecessary delays.
2 suggestions for considerations:
1. The pick up instructions were a little vague. We were told to wait in front of Star Bucks at Berjaya Times Square. Many of us did not realised the bus was actualy along the main road a short distance from the front of Star Bucks. We waited till almost past time before one group member went to check and found the bus waiting. Instructions can be clearer with an image and perhaps the tour guide can also check outside Star Bucks for waiting passengers.
2. The lunch was underwhelming and it was especially disappointing as Malacca was well known for local cuisines. Many of the dishes (plain white rice, stir fry green vegetables, onion omelet, braised tofu, stir fried bean sprouts) were not very interesting or representative of the more famous local fare. At least 1 of the classics like Assam Pedas or Chicken Riceballs could be included (with additional fee of course) or allow participants to opt out of lunch.

Had an amazing time exploring Malacca with Sasi as our guide! He’s not just knowledgeable—he’s a fantastic storyteller who brings the city’s rich history and culture to life. From fascinating colonial tales to local legends, there was never a dull moment. You can tell he loves what he does, and his enthusiasm is contagious.
The tour was well-paced, giving us time to soak in the sights without feeling rushed. Lunch was simple but satisfying—just what we needed to refuel before continuing our adventure.
If you’re visiting Malacca, I highly recommend taking a tour with Sasi. You’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for the city and probably a few good laughs along the way!

Our day trip to Melaka started with a slight hiccup – we were picked up 10 minutes earlier than originally scheduled, but since we were ready, it wasn’t a problem. After the pickup, we were transferred to a larger bus with over 20 people, which formed our group for the day. Unfortunately, the large group size made the experience feel more like a money-making venture than an enjoyable cultural tour.
Our guide, Nelson, didn’t seem particularly interested in engaging with the group. His primary focus appeared to be on herding us from one stop to the next rather than sharing meaningful insights about Melaka. His explanations were minimal and lacked enthusiasm, making the trip feel rushed and impersonal.
As for the destination itself, Melaka didn’t quite live up to expectations as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While it wasn’t unattractive, the area felt overly touristy, dominated by coffee shops and souvenir stalls. I couldn’t help but feel that spending one of my four days in Malaysia here was a missed opportunity, as I’m sure the country has much more to offer in terms of authentic experiences and cultural richness.
The food included in the tour was mediocre at best, especially compared to the fantastic meal we had on a tour the previous day. The bus itself was comfortable and well-air-conditioned, which was one of the few highlights of the trip.
However, a particularly unpleasant incident further dampened the experience. Two elderly ladies, who only spoke Spanish, got separated from the group. The guide left them behind, stating it was their fault for not sticking with the group. It took around 2-3 hours to find and reunite with them, thanks to the help of another group member who spoke Spanish. This situation could have been avoided with better communication and leadership from the guide.
To top it off, at the end of the trip, the guide requested maximum ratings in the feedback, which felt inappropriate given the overall quality of the experience.
In summary, I wouldn’t recommend this trip. While Melaka has its charm, the execution of the tour left much to be desired, and the time lost in travel wasn’t worth it.

The Chinese food is delicious, the tour bus seats are large and comfortable, the tour guide is very nice, and he explains the history of Malacca carefully👍🏻The price of the itinerary includes food and transportation. I think it is worth the price and is highly recommended. At the end, you can have two hours to roam the old streets, which is not bad😌 ~ (Apart from the fact that the weather is too hot, I don’t have enough time, so it’s a pity that the itinerary will be rushed, and there are still some experiences that I can’t complete in time)

The tour guide gave a very easy-to-understand explanation, so I enjoyed the tour. He was also friendly, so it was easy to ask questions.
I highly recommend this tour because it's reasonably priced and includes transportation to Melaka, a guide, and traditional Melaka cuisine.

This was an amazing tour booked via klook. We got our driver and guide details in the evening before our trip day. We had booked a group tour so we had the option of pickup and drop off from our hotel Platinum Suites KLCC. The entire group was travelling in an AC bus. It takes 2 hours to reach Melaka from KL, could be more due to traffic. Our guide Mr.Johnson was brilliant. He was interactive throughout our trip. He explained us all about the history of this laid back town. We visited St petes, Christ church, A Famosa and them we stopped for lunch in Straits Restaurant and dont worry if you prefer vegan, the guide had arranged for it. We got fried rice some salads, appetizer and a dessert cendol. Further we strolled through the Jonker street for some souvenirs and ate some snacks in different stores while we waited for our bus to depart. The entire trip timing was from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm including travel time. There are toilet stops after an hour on both the sides of the trip. Tip: follow the time mentioned by the guide to avoid missing the tour. If you miss it then you gotta take grab and continue on your own. You will need scarfs to visit to church or u pay some donation and rent the scarf.

Hello! Is it possible to take a river cruise during the afternoon river walk free time?
Thank you 😊
Written 17 July 2023
Yes our tour guide gave us the option to do the river cruise. But we opted to do a little bit of souvenir shopping, have a snack and walk around instead.
But the river cruise is totally doable.

Hello, How long is the tour door to door? We are staying at the Sheraton. Thanks, Maria
Written 12 January 2020
It was about 10 hrs, we were picked up approx 8.15am then back in KL about 6ish but the traffic was a nightmare when we reach KL so you need to allow time for that.
