We definitely visited parts of the city we’d have never seen on our own. And we tried some interesting street food like their octopus. We found Osaka has a good vibe. Rahat is only 27 so some of his hidden gems were oriented towards the younger crowd but we enjoyed the sites even as senior citizens. And he knows the city and its history and Japanese habits and religion very well even though he’s an English man. Highly recommend his tour.

It was amazing are tour guide spoke amazing English. She was super helpful and answered all are questions. Told us all the history of the places we went and it was overall an amazing experience.

Had an amazing time on the Osaka Kickstart: Hotspots and Hidden Gems tour! Our guides, Stephanie and Louis were fantastic—super friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories that made the city come alive. We visited some of Osaka’s famous spots, like the bright and buzzing Dotonbori, but what made the tour extra special were the hidden gems—those little alleyways and local spots you’d never find on your own. Highlights included Kuromon Ichiba Market, and trying fresh takoyaki and other tasty street food. Stephanie also gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and which really came in handy for lunch after the tour. If you're visiting Osaka and want a mix of must-see sights and off-the-beaten-path treasures, I’d 100% recommend this tour. Great way to get to know the city!

Excellent, a very interesting tour through the Dotunbori area of Osaka. Josh, our guide, is very knowledgeable and showed us some great places and gave us good tips for the rest of our stay in Osaka. I only wish we had taken the tour in day 1 in order to benefit from his knowledge a bit more.

The tour took us to places we would have never visited on our own and we heard ‘inside’ stories that we would have never heard. Andy was our tour guide and he led us with great passion, adventure and knowledge. I also enjoyed his sense of love and genuine compassion for Japan and all of its people.

Marii was an amazing guide, lots of deep insights Into the big city and its people. We went on a tour of Osaka castle taking us through the subway system and explaining life in Osaka. (and why it’s the best) she then took us through an extended tour through the many markets of Osaka, and even an American inspired triangle within the city. Showing us the best spots and letting us taste the greatest takoyaki! I highly recommend this guide for anyone that wants to experience Osaka to its fullest.

This tour is great value for money. Anna was my guide and if I could give 6 starts for her expertise and service I would! The team at Osaka Food Tours are amazing, from their communication in the lead up to it, and on the day (I got lost and they called, found, and collected me so I didn’t miss out - legends), to the quality and variety of the food, the knowledge about Osakan culture and Kuromon’s history, and the candour my guide Anna had with the market owners.
