Tripadvisor gives a Travellers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
Both hand-rolled sushi and sushi are ancient Japanese cultures, but hand-rolled sushi is highly recommended for families because it is easier and more enjoyable for children than sushi. Because it specializes in Hokkaido ingredients, everyone can enjoy and experience Japanese culture, including Hokkaido seafood, meat, and tempura. It is also known for its hon wasabi (Japanese horseradish), which can be enjoyed by all, regardless of whether you are an adult or a child, because you can also arrange food. Hand-rolled sushi is an extension of sushi. 4 people or more Experience up to 14 people. If you have more than 15 people, please contact the store directly. It is also possible for group customers.

Great way to experience Japanese and Hokkaido culture
Learning how to make soba in the traditional way is such a fun and rewarding experience. ( The additional snowy backdrop makes it more special)

Had fun making Soba in Sapporo. Taku was very friendly and gave us clear instructions and a lot of encouragement when we were making the soba. Highly recommend everyone to give the soba experience a try!

      Great experience!
It was a great experience! The instructor was very kind and was able to lead us through some background on Soba Making in Japan and how to do each step. We also happen to do it on New Year's Eve, which made the experience even more special as it is popular for Japanese people to eat soba during New Year's! The instructor was very patient and we were able to utilize google translate when asking questions! We also were lucky to have a private lesson with just my husband and I! Loved the intimate setting and would recommend for anyone interested in soba making!

Make soba noodles from scratch. Tempura is prepared and cooked by the hosts
It was fun to make the soba noodles. Taku was great and very helpful explaining in English. The process was quite specific. My husband loved the detail and precision. I had thought we would make tempura as well as soba noodles and that the experience world be for 90 minutes. We only made soba noodles (30 minutes) and then ate them with tempura made by Taku’s wife. It was all delicious. The experience seems a bit expensive for less than one hour.

      Lovely experience
Amazing experience if you are interested in Japan's culinary history and like to cook. The husband and wife combo run the restaurant together and are super accommodating. After you make the soba, they cook it for you and you eat it with some tempura. It was the best tempura I've ever had and my favorite meal in Sapporo.

Wonderful and intimate experience with a soba master
My Wife and I came here as part of our honeymoon and it was a fantastic and intimate experience. Taku was very accomodating even though we did not speak Japanese. He was encouraging at every step and gave clear instructions. The class is a closed session with just your party, so you do not have to worry about being forgotten in a large group setting. And the best part of all, you get to eat what you make after the whole experience, it was lovely! Thank you to Taku and his team for a memorable experience 🙏

      Wonderful
This dinner experience was quick and delicious. It was nice learning about Soba, how to make quality noodles, and the history of Soba in Japan. It was wonderful eating handmade noodles. The Soba noodles and tempura were phenomenal. I would highly recommend this experience.

Enjoyable and informative soba noodle making
Overall, a very enjoyable experience learning to make soba noodles from professionals in a small soba noodle shop. The hosts were very welcoming and pleasant. The hosts English was a bit 'rough', though they made an effort and we were able to understand the information. We learned many 'tricks' to soba noodle making (how to roll the dough into a rectangle, cutting evenly). The result was fantastic; the best soba we have ever eaten in Japan. Unfortunately, some information is not provided (flour a mixture or all buckwheat, cooking time, sauce/broth recipe) which will prevent us from making soba at home in the US. Note the location is a short distance outside the city center, though very clear directions are provided for getting there via public transportation.

Was a great experience. We really enjoyed it . One of the best places in Ghana is mole National Park. The nature is very beautiful and so quiet. We also did the canoe safari. Which was also very great . Enjoyed the landscape and also visited the oldest mosque in Africa.
