Visit to Xi'an
Earlier this month we visited Xi'an. We enjoyed a lot the visit to the amazing terracotta warriors and the city walls. The visit to the muslim bazaar was a waste of time. Our local guide, Lily, was a real contribution to our visit in Xi'an and we warmly recommend her if you plan a visit to this unique city.

Super responsive and easy. Prebooking meant we skipped the lines at the ticket booth. Probably worth it if you're short on time or sick of queues.

Roger from Travelchinaguide at his best
I travelled with my wife and couple of friends for a short visit to Xian. I would like to convey our best appreciations to our guide Roger for his great efforts to accomodate us with a very late arrival in gerthe middle of the night. We have a smooth check-in in our hotel at one o'clock in the night. In the same morning we started a lovely Xian tour including Great Goose Pagoda, the City Wall and finally the Terracota Warriors. Roger gave us pleanty of historical information, together with tips and funny jokes about the places we visited. He do his best to make us confortable despite the short time we had. With Roger's explanations the time passed by easily and enrichrd us with tramendous details about great China and its people. Thank you once again Roger! Adrian and Cecilia, Bucharest, Romania

very satisfying
I had great day with the tour. Our guide was Roger. He was very friendly and kind, looked after us very well, had an excellent knowledge. The weather wasn't good that day but it didn't matter as we had a wonderful time. He helped me to book the ticket for the Tang Dynasty show which I only decided to go that afternoon. Overall it was a pleasant day in Xian for me.

Terracotta museum tour
Confirmation was really quick when I first signed up. Our guide, Lola, was really awesome! She was on time for the pickup. I really like that this tour offers pick up services if you’re located in the city area. Also, we did not stop at any shops selling Terracotta Army memorabilia, which was great. As I was the only person who signed up for a day tour, Lola was really patient to bring me around. Would definitely sign up for a tour with Travelchinaguide in future.

Xi’an is truly impressive
Our guide, Carol, explained everything very well, from the fabulous terra-cotta army excavated around the tomb of an ancient Chinese emperor to the residential buildings of modern China. She gave us the historical background we needed to understand the significance of what we saw: the ancient, the modern, and the periods in-between. She also provided very valuable tips on problems we could have in markets, in crossing streets, and many other things. I do not recommend visiting China without good guides.

Xi'an was great!
Our guide, Jacky, was just wonderful. We enjoyed our time in Xi'an. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He offered a night tour and we took it immediately and didn't regret at all. We were just surprised to see so much dazzling lights around Xi'an. Due to time constraints through our tour itinerary, we would have liked to be able to ride the bike atop of the City Wall and go the full circle on it. Our visit to Terracotta Army Museum and Muslim Quarter/Bazaar was great!

Xian day tour
Fred was great! I had taken the overnight train to Xian from Beijing and it was late and I was having trouble getting a taxi to the meeting place. Fred went out of his way to calm me down and pick me up at an alternate location in order to include me on the tour. He could have just left me, but he didn't. Thank you Fred!

We really enjoyed our stay in Xi'an.
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. She did an outstanding job. The restaurant choices were excellent. We really enjoyed the Terracotta Army, the Tang Music and Dancing Show, The Ancient City Wall and the evening stroll through the Xi'an streets. The meal in the private home was tasty and it was interesting to see how the locals live.
