About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Maddy H0 contributionsNice tour, bring cash - don’t give all to boatcrew for seafood! Was a nice tour, we chose this one tour as opposed to the Oslob whale shark swimming as we wanted something closer to our cebu city hotel Snorkel masks were basic but functional, not sure what the cleaning process is so if you’re weird about germs then maybe bring your own? Boat was VERY noisy - so just be prepared for that. First two destinations were the snorkelling islands and the final destination was Caohagan which was the sand beach relaxing vibe place. Stayed at the first island for the longest. Was my first time snorkelling and enjoyed the experience. Without a doubt recommend wearing the life jacket! Me and my partner just wore a bikini and swim shorts and got lots of little stings so would also recommend wearing a bodysuit or something to lower the chances of getting stung! (the stings were gone by the evening and were more like little tingles so nothing serious). With this island they lined the boat up with the other tourist boats and just let you jump in After our first snorkelling session we got back on the boat and one of the boatmen showed us the seafood that he had caught - we thought he was just showing us to be interesting and then he said what do you want and we said what seafood we would eat and we assumed that this was part of the bbq lunch that is included in the tour price however it wasn’t and he told us we had to pay. The price he gave was definitely overpriced and more than we actually had on us so we ended up giving him all the money we had on us to pay for that (1900 pesos) so after that we felt scammed and had no money to enjoy caohagan island. Don’t get me wrong I’m more than happy to pay for their products but this just really felt scammy, overpriced and gave a bad impression. Next snorkelling session we got dropped off and had to do a 5 min walk to the actual snorkelling area (we left my partners backpack on the boat but after giving the boatmen all our money after the first snorkelling session I wasn’t overly trusting that the bag would be safe but when we came back everything was still there). This island had a sectioned off area to snorkel and the fish were recently fed so very close to the entrance and lots to see. Didn’t stay too long at this place as we were tired after the first snorkelling session. Caohagan island was really nice. White sand beach and some music and people relaxing eating everywhere. There was lots of stalls but since we gave the boatmen the last of our money we felt we couldn’t enjoy this island very much at all. Recommendations: - Wear a bodysuit to avoid getting stung when snorkelling - Don’t give all your money to the boatmen for the seafood they show you! - the food that your driver brings onto the boat is the food that is included in the tour price - the seafood bbq that the boatmen show you is NOT included - you will have to pay (don’t give them all your money like we stupidly did) - Maybe have a waterproof bag for your money, cards and phone which you can keep on your person whilst swimming for peace of mind.Written 18 March 2025
- Maddy H0 contributionsRecommend this trip, bring moneyReally good trip, fully recommend Takes you to a lot of the main destinations. We started at sirao gardens but was quite slippery after the rain so be careful walking in that sort of weather especially if you go up on the hands to take photos! We also did TOPS viewpoint early on in the morning and could see absolutely nothing (fog covered everything so all we saw was a white void) so that was a wasted trip really but we didn’t mind When you get to the lapu lapu monument place there was a couple of guys who met us as our driver opened the door and they walked us around the monuments and spoke about them, they also took lots of pictures for us. They were very insistent and we just assumed that was a part of the tour experience but they hovered and asked for a tip before our driver came to pick us up so make sure you bring plenty of cash with you - no complaints as such, the photos came out good but they just bombarded us as we got out the car and didn’t give us an option of if we wanted to go around and see everything ourself without their guidance - almost came off a bit pushy? All the destinations were fun, some finished a lot quicker than others. Our driver was lovely and explained some of the locations/ took some photos for us. He came into some of the attractions with us but not all of them. Overall, i would 100% recommend this trip, just make sure you bring some money. It’s also a good idea to have a data e-sim added to toe phone so you can contact your driver if you get separated etc.Written 18 March 2025
- Maddy H0 contributionsRecommend trip fun day, bring cashTrip was really great, would definitely recommend Bohol as a travel destination. One thing worth mentioning is the start of the trip - so we got up early around 4:30am and a driver picked us up from our hotel and dropped us at the ferry port. We had no clue what to do from there as he just gave us our tickets and said go in and that was it. Prior to leaving, we weren’t sure if it was a ferry where the car drives on too but it was just a people ferry (maybe that is obvious but it didn’t explain). When you get to the port think airport vibes. Pay a small terminal fee (25-30 pesos) at one desk, then go to the check in desk to get a ticket with your seat number and then go through a little security check point then sit and wait for your ferry time to be called. There’s food and drink stalls and toilets and lots of seats in the waiting area. There was staff around to ask if you had any questions and the intercom announces when to board but would be nice if that was explained better for first time travellers as we were a bit nervous/unsure of what to do when we got dropped off. Ferry was surprisingly comfortable and took around 2hrs Touched down in Bohol and a new driver was waiting for us with a name sign (easy to find and efficient). Started at chocolate hills, then travelled to the butterfly/snake sanctuary place and then the tarsiers and drove through the forest and got taken to the Rio Verde river cruise (a previous review also mentioned being taken to the Rio Verde one as opposed to the original loboc river cruise one? but it seems to be the same thing and was really enjoyable regardless). If you want souvenirs they are at all the destinations. Chocolate hills viewpoint had a nice restaurant, toilets and signs to take photos with - as we went first thing it wasn’t too busy but began to get busy later on as we were about to leave. Our driver was very attentive, chatty and hospitable which was nice - even offered to stop off for breakfast/ coffee when we arrived. When we finished earlier than expected he dropped us off at the ticket office and explained that we just need to go in and ask to change our return ferry ticket to the earlier one (had to pay 100 pesos extra for 2 people so the ticket could be changed) Got some amazing photos and memories and was a really nice day out! Make sure you bring small notes for the terminal fees, any tips, souvenirs and if you need to change your ferry ticket to an earlier one! Doing any of the ATV or zip line things at the chocolate hills is optional - you just have to let your driver/guide know if you want to do any of those. These things cost extra so bring money if you want to do thoseWritten 18 March 2025
- Flora_kast0 contributionsAmazing experienceAmazing tour! Perfect experience! Very beautiful locations. The tour quide and our driver was really helpful! Everything was great! Favorite activity and a must do, was the swimming with whale sharks.Written 17 March 2025
- Tahlani K0 contributionsHighly recommendOur driver Abam picked us up on time, was very knowledgeable of the locations we visited clear meet up times. Some places he stayed with us and was our dedicated photographer juggling both of our phones. He was great! Very enjoyable dayWritten 9 March 2025
- jasoncR4046SR0 contributionsFlawless professional adventure! The crew was so helpful with me and my kids! They used the time very efficiently. They were kind and professional. Our driver Edmar was excellent as was Paula with the whale sharks and Alberto and Rafael and his team and let's go trek canyoneering were fantastic. The canyoneering was world class and the whale shark adventure was so beautifully organized. We are so grateful!Written 6 March 2025
- gbruce190 contributionsA trip highlightI did this as a solo traveller, so if you're thinking about whether or not to do it alone - don't hesitate!! I was worried I wouldn't enjoy it by myself, but honestly, this was one of the highlights of my time in the Philippines; I had so much fun that I didn't even realise I was 'alone'. I got picked up by a private car, by a friendly driver, who drove several hours all the way to where I got picked up for the tour. From there, I met my guide, Merlot, who gave me water shoes, a life jacket and a helmet. You are able to store all your possessions in a locker (or also in the car, as the driver waits for you). I chose to do the zipline (which costs extra), which you do lying down in the harness, on your belly, facing forward. Super fun. Expect to do many cliff jumps from various heights, go down mini water slides carved into the rock by nature, go swimming, rope swings, see waterfalls, and the most stunning turquoise water, all amongst beautiful canyons and forest. DO NOT miss this opportunity!! I brought a camera and Merlot seriously went above and beyond with taking photos and videos all day for me!! I felt well taken care of - he made sure I always felt safe, explaining things, and making jokes, and taught me about the area etc. throughout the day. Lunch was included too, but for me as a vegetarian, it was very basic. Afterwards, you'll drive home with your original driver.Written 3 March 2025
- villemikkola0 contributionsWhale sharks, sea turtles, sardine run all in one day!Despite the traffic, the distances travelled, the crowds at some locations, an excellent and unforgettable excursion. The driver was amazing, my local guide (thanks Michelle!) was lovely. The whale sharks were truly an experience, but I recommend having/renting a Go Pro for the day (or at each location) and you'll need to do some manoeuvring to avoid crowds in your shots, but they're impressive creatures. The second half of sea turtles and sardines snorkeling was solo again and incredible, with the boat crew diving with me to capture amazing pictures and video of both locations and all their creatures. Thank you for an unforgettable day!Written 1 March 2025
- 288drewa0 contributionsGreat experience! I was chicken at first haha. Will definitely do againThis was sooooo good! It was great value for money! The seafood lunch was great too!! I felt like I was in a travel commercial lol.i t was only me and my friend on the boat so they adjusted the time on each island to suit us. I would definitely do this again! Tip: Take some cash so u can buy drinks & park access on the islands.Written 25 February 2025
- Love2Travel_whenever0 contributionsWhale shark, sardine, turtle, waterfallWilson our driver was excellent. There is many hours of driving for this excursion so be prepared. Ellen our local guide in Oslo was nice and got us to every activity. The food and washroom facilities could probably improve but overall a great experience.Written 25 February 2025
- jouhara_Ism0 contributionsGreat organization, wonderful day full of adventuresWe were 2 couples with 2 kids (2 and 3). All in all we had a fun day full of adventures. We appreciated having a guide for the whale portion as there were a lot of people and we would have lost a lot of time trying to figure out what to do and where to go then waiting for our turn. We visited waterfalls and an island then got to swim near the whale sharks. Leaving earliest is better, we left from our hotel in Cebu Mactan at 3am. Our driver was efficient in getting us to the different locations on time, but a little too sporty for our comfort.Written 24 February 2025
- stellamI8075SJ0 contributionsExcellent Service by FredWe booked tours with this company and I am very happy with the service. Special thank you to our driver Fred who picked us up at the airport and took us to 3 different locations before dropping us off to the hotel. He delivered an outstanding service. We were very impressed with his politeness and he's very helpful in providing information about the places we visited. THANK YOU Fred!!! Well done!!!Written 22 February 2025
- Trail342468915030 contributionsGreat tour of CebuThe tour provides all the top attractions you will need to see in Cebu. The amount of time of the tour is just right to see all the attractions in the tour. Our driver Titing is amazing and very professional. He also took the time to take our pictures during the tour. This tour is highly recommended and well worth the money! Will definitely go back again with this company.Written 21 February 2025

The whale shark and canyoneering tour was amazing!! I was in there with my family and all day tour was super smooth thanks to our super energetic and positive guide Saicey! If you have a chance, choose her! ❤️ The tour was super long, it takes around 15 hours, we were a little bir nervous at the beginning, but it was much better than we expected. Tatally worth it! Also our driver James was so sweet and nice.Written 16 February 2025
- Travelingwallie0 contributionsLots to see, yet lots of driving. Tumalog Falls was amazing. Treatment of animals by secondary parties may be difficult for some* Bring snorkeling gear, lots of swimming. Long day with lots of driving and several stops. Driver, Angelo, did an excellent job maneuvering the terrible roads and traffic with expertise. Guide Ellen was informative and kept us going. Appreciated information at Whale Shark location, but felt it was a bit exploitative. Warning: Please do not put on sunscreen or wear jewelry prior to activity. Despite getting there really early we still had an hour wait, this resulted in a program change subsequently shortening one of our activities that we ended up doing while waiting. Not the tours fault, but frustrating. Breakfast as described, but area had mosquitos. Then went to Sumilon Island, we were here for only about 30 minutes instead of the slotted 2 hrs. The sand bar was really small, it was early/cool and not really sunny; so I wasn’t too disappointed. We still had to wait about 15 minutes at the sharks. Also, only masks given, no snorkels so that was a bit annoying. The falls was amazing, we walked and it wasn’t that bad. Enjoyed the fish that ate dead skin off your feet. The last part was a boat ride to three snorkeling areas, no snorkeling gear provided. The first spot didn't have much to see. The sardines were crowded with people. The turtle area was right next to it. Unfortunately, despite being given prior instructions some of the boat guides were allowing their customers to get close to the only Turtle to get selfies and followed it around stirring up the sand. This was really frustrating/sad and felt really intrusive to the turtle. Our crew left us alone, which I appreciated. It felt very uncomfortable. Angelo drove us back expertly. Overall the tour was good, but the treatment of some of the animals wasn’t as controlled as well as I would have liked. This was done by the external operators of the tour, not our guide.Written 15 February 2025

An amazing experience. It was a very long day, 3.30am pick-up and then a 2hr+ hectic drive to Oslob. Long queues to buy whale shark tickets, but we got our tickets and then had time for our breakfast, that was basic but tasty. The WHALE shark experience was absolutely out of this world. After a boat trip to Sumilon Sandbar (wasn't too impressed with this, way too many people on a tiny white beach), we visited the 1st of the 2 waterfalls. Tumalog was a very steep walk down a road, but so so beautiful. We took a bike back up. The hill is so steep, you can easily fall over. Last was Kawasan Falls - we were totally unprepared for this bit. It was amazing, but you need to prepare. It was about a 5kms walk along/through the river/pools and over rocks. Make sure you have good water shoes that are easy to walk in. Take your possessions (few) in a waterproof bag and take water, also money as there are a few vendors along the way. We were shattered after the walk, but it was an amazing experience. Next was the very long 2hr+ drive back. I would recommend that you actually stay for a night or 2 in the area to fully utilize all the activities in this area.

Went on this tour yesterday and it was something that will literally make your trip. The experience with the whale sharks is out of this world and kawasan falls is beautiful, I visited 4 years ago and it is sad to see how it has change since the super thyphoon but still lovely.
Richmond was our driver yesterday and credit to him, it was Easter Sunday and with Philippines being very religious the traffic was like nothing I had ever experienced and I live in London where traffic is the norm. Despite the long journey and early start it was worth while, during the drive Richmond kept us engaged, entertained and educated us on the Philippines which was insightful as well as crack a few jokes !
We didn’t book a private tour but it was and was perfect cause we could manage the time at each stop
100% recommended
The island sand bar wasn’t worth a stop due to high tide and it not being visible, but overall don’t hesitate to book with this company and if you are lucky you will get Richmond !

Our tour guide JoyJoy made this experience everything. The whales were a sight to be seen. The boat you get on is small and I for sure would not recommend this for elderly or super heavy guests because getting in and out would be very difficult. Then we went to the sandbar, I think you could skip this part, it really is just a small cove you swim in and there are no fish to see unless you pay extra to go snorkeling in the coral reserve. And you have to have a guide tour with you to snorkel. Then we took a 15 min drive to Tumalog Falls which was the highlight of the entire experience, when you get there you can pay 50 pesos to get a ride on a motorbike down to the falls and they will bring you back up. I recommend you do this. The waterfall is huge with lots of picture opportunities. We skipped the other falls because we were exhausted and the drive to the whales took 3 hours from hotel.it was going to be an extra hour drive to the 2nd falls and we didn’t want to do that. Took 4 hours to get back from the excursion. Our driver Sammy was the best.

Recommend doing research on the season and if certain components of the tour will be available. Paid full price for and found out the day off that the one of the hikes was not going to be visited due to dry season. Got reimbursed 100 PHP (50 PHP for each person).
Swimming with the whale sharks made save the experience.

Thank you for your feedback, we apologize that you are not able to visit Tumalog, it was closed by the LGU few days ago due to dry season. The falls has no water at the moment and its just a sidetrip for all our whale shark tour since its just few km from the site. Again, thank you for choosing us to tour you in Cebu.

We had an amazing day! Both the whalesharks and waterfalls was out of this world! Everything felt very organised and we felt very good taken care of throughout the day. The hike to the waterfalls was so much fun, we weren’t aware of that it would be that long to get there. However, doing the high jumps and swings and see all the other waterfalls on the way was so much fun. We could borrow watershoes, helmet and lifevest there and the bike ride to get to the start of the hike was so beautiful with stunning views. Big shoutout to our guide at the waterfalls: J.B! He took the role of photographer and made our group have much fun. Also having a private guide and driver throughout the day made the whole day feel so luxury. Best regards, Amanda & Danni

All of it was amazing. Thank you to Angelo and Pearl. The guide at Imbanakaan was amazing. She dived into the falls and shows you/helps you how to climb onto the rock. It is a long day but 100% worth it. What an experience. Very good value considering door to door drop off round trip is 7 hours driving, plus 4 activities included.

Definitely the highlight of our trip to Cebu. Our family was picked up promptly at 3:30 am from our hotel in Mactan by Miko. Very comfortable drive to Oslob in a new air-conditioned van. After breakfast, we met up with Cheryl, our guide, who was so nice and attentive. She took care of all our things while we were swimming. Lined up for less than 15 minutes because Cebu Tours have guides who have already been holding a place for their tour guests earlier in the day. Orientation, then another 10 minutes waiting to board our boat. The sight of the majestic butandings and swimming so close to them is an experience I will never forget. The boatmen feed them just as they tell you to go under the water so you are guaranteed a really close encounter. To me the time they give you to snorkel is just right.
Next was a boat ride to Sumilon Island sandbar. Absolutely gorgeous island, can take lots of instagrammable pics. Then off to Tumalog Falls, where the car takes you up the mountain then you have to get on the back of a motorcycle (50 pesos pp extra) for a short but harrowing drive to the falls. So sad to see the falls being just a trickle and the water level in the pool down below so shallow. Nothing like the beautiful pictures you see online. After that, we were served a delicious lunch of adobo, chicken soup, chop suey and rice. If you don't like Filipino food you can order off their menu and pay extra. After lunch we said goodbye to Cheryl then boarded the car for an almost 2 hour drive to Kawasan Falls. There we were met by another guide, Brian, who led us on an easy 20 minute hike to the falls. The falls was beautiful and it was so refreshing to swim in the cool water. Then we drove back to Cebu and got back to our hotel by 7 pm.
Cebu Tours and especially Miko and Cheryl did an amazing job. Note this is a PRIVATE tour with just your group and you have private guides with breakfast and lunch included so I thought the price was very reasonable considering you get to see four must-see sights in one trip! If like us you have had the butandings in your bucket list for a long time and only have a few days in Cebu, don't hesitate to book this tour. 100% recommend, and we plan on coming back in the future to do the Kawasan Falls canyoneering tour! Thank you to Miko, Cheryl and Cebu Tours for an amazing day!

Picked up by our driver of the day, Mar, at 3:30am. 3 hour ride to oslob, got our scuba diving tickets and since it was a long wait before it was our turn, we headed for a quick breakfast and then tumalog falls with a 15 minute ride.
Afterwards we headed back to the whale shark diving, and it was definitely an experience to remember. The spot wasn't as deep as we thought, can definitely see the bottom. And with multiple whale sharks circling around within touching distance, but definitely DO NOT TOUCH.
After that we headed to sumilion sand bar with a quick 5 minute boat ride. Water was crystal clear, sand was soft but had some sharp rocks scattered across the beach.
Finally we headed to the canyoneering area with another 10 minute ride, met with an amazing guide called Albert. He lead us through the route safely and kept the atmosphere lively and fun. Met with amazing views and exciting jumps.
Last but not least, we headed back to Cebu City, took 3+ hours. But our driver Mar definitely took us back there as soon as possible.
Would recommend renting gopros, as the boatman at the whale shark diving, and the guide at the canyoneering will assist in filming and taking photos for the events. Afterwards they will email you the footage.

Favorite part was whale shark swimming. Could do without Sumilon Island portion. Kawasan falls is apparently very different than years ago due to typhoon damage. Tumalog falls were amazing. Make sure to start your day early because it takes 2-3 hours from Cebu just to get to Oslob then have to wait in line for whale shark tickets - it’s first come first serve. Bring water shoes because you will be walking on rocks in the water to and from boats.

We had only one day to visit the highlights around Cebu so we decided to book an organized tour to make the most of our day. We booked this tour and currently Kawasan falls aren’t accessible by foot, so CebuTours proposed us to upgrade to Canyoneering in Kawasan falls since it was the only way to access the falls.
The daytrip was perfectly organized. The driver was on time and brought us around the whole day. We had early breakfast close to Oslob and our guide there brought us to the whale sharks. It was very fun swimming with the whalesharks and we were early enough to have very little tourists.
Aftwr we went to the island and the beach was very nice. We then visited the Tumalog fall and our guide was making sure we were on time. After lunch we headed for the kawasan falls and we had a private guide for the canyoneering. He was super nice, took a lot of pictures of us and we had so much fun doing it. I would really recommend to do Canyoneering to visit the kawasan falls, it’s much more fun and more interesting. The canyoneering was really the highlight of our trip in Philippines, so we are very happy to have decided to do it! It wasn’t dangerous, but you need to be careful to not slip in the wet rocks and not be scared of jumping.
