About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Breanna T0 contributionsSuch a fun filled day with so many memories captured on camera!Canyoneering We had a great time! Gim and John made sure we had the most fun and were so high energy! The guys were so funny and seemed to have just as much fun as us and the footage shows it! John helped my friend with extra assistance to avoid tripping/ slipping whilst Gim captured the whole adventure in my insta 360 camera! He captured better footage than I would have been able to myself and through all the rock slides etc kept the camera safe at all times protecting it with his life! John also brought my phone with us safe in a dry bag and took some awesome photos at Kawasan falls for us too! Snorkeling- turtles/ sardine run The guys made sure we had a great time on our private tour. We weren’t rushed and took things at our own pace and they stayed incredibly patient with us. They did an awesome job helping us get some turtle shots on my camera and pushing my friend under to get some turtle selfies as she was struggling to do so herself. We had the best time! They also captured some incredible sardine footage for us with us swimming through the sardines which looked totally insane! Awesome experience definitely recommended Thanks to Mcrich for making the best day!Written 13 November 2024
- Dublinreviewer20150 contributionsGreat fun book it & enjoy!Lots of fun book it! Communication was excellent too I only booked c. 12 hours in advance. 4.30am start from Cebu our driver Topaz was brilliant he picked us up pronto and was so lovely and helpful throughout the day. The snorkelling trip was first c. 2.5 hours from Cebu and was super with three stops and we saw two turtles. Canyoneering was next c. 30 mins from snorkelling area. The guides were very professional, kind and fun we had one each for the entire duration. Tips are bring good water shoes with decent soles (otherwise you can get at the starting point) and money with you in a waterproof pouch as snacks can be purchased along the way and for guide tips they really deserve it and don’t even expect it. Its c. 3.5 - 4 hours return to Cebu because of traffic.Written 19 March 2024
- NanC10210 contributionsExhilarating!!Canyoneering with our AWESOME guides, Jerome & Carlo was EXHILARATING!! We trekked along the river, chased waterfalls & jumped off cliffs into the bluest green waters! Our guides had the best energy and took lots of great pictures & videos! Truly a very memorable & fun experience!Written 9 February 2024
- geneent20230 contributionsGood Experience / Bad time wasting. Two rather dichotomous views of the experience. Let’s start with the good. The whale shark swim is so special. These creatures are amazing up close. And we were really lucky that day - about 7-8 were in the area. Apparently, on some day in November, they only had one whale shark! The swim at Kawasan Falls is also very refreshing! The water was chillingly wonderful! We enjoyed swimming against the current and floating in the cool water on a hot day. Guide her is really helpful and warm. Driver was fast, experienced and safe Now the bad. The travelling time is long. The waiting time for whale shark is long (in spite of us leaving at 3am from Cebu). The return trip was super long (5 hours including jam from Kawasan to Cebu city). Driver Elizer made it better with his entertaining stories and patient nature. It will be better to pair your whale shark visit with a visit to the Tumalog falls because that means you are not stuck in that little “street” waiting indeterminately for your number to be called. We were there at 6. We queued for the number and got the number and briefing by 6.45am. Only at 8.45am were we asked to go and get the life jackets for the outing. Bring your own snorkel if you think a snorkel is useful. They only provide life jackets and masks. Overall the two experiences are really nice, but the logistics and unknowns make this either a really enjoyable trip or one that is rather draining.Written 26 December 2023
- Camper004657720040 contributionsBest adventure ever!Amazing adventure experiences, totally beyond my expectations. This is an exclusive tour, I booked by myself so the whole drive is only the great driver and me, he came to pick me up at 5 am, and on the way to the destination he passed by Jollibee so I got to get some breakfast (super yummy). The first stop is Scuba Dive, and see the Salatin fish and Sea Turtle, you can rent Go-pro so a tour guide will take pictures and videos for with very reasonable charge. Around 11 am we arrived at the adventure place, and had some lunch before the adventure, my guide was a total of 5 stars called Mac, definitely highly recommend it if you can choose :) He is very caring, and kind and great sense of photography. The canoeing was the best adventure I've had ever, it was scary for the first 2-meter jump, but once you tried you will enjoy it, btw I did my 10-meter jump, so good luck to you! The whole views are very stunning and felt so involved by the natural elements, very satisfying and relaxing. Another 5 stars for the driver Elizer, he is such a kind and humorous person, you won't be bored even for 4 hours driving :) Thank you everyone for offering such a great experience for me in Cebu, hope I'll be back here soon!Written 21 May 2023

- 516junb0 contributionsOnce in a life time experience! One of the best thing to do in cebu.Canyoneering is thrilling! Jumping from a 4-10metres high and exploring the mountains and clear water is a great experience. Whereas for moalboal snorkeling, if you are a beginner like us (novice swimmer), it isn't as fun because most of the time, you will just be drinking sea water. Although we get to see sardine and 2 sea turtles, but it is quite tiring for starters. However, to be able to see the vast deep sea and groups of sardine swimming below us is a spectacular view. Our guide for canyoneering is great, he helped us took many photos and take care of us. Do note to go on a non-public holiday as our waiting line for zipline took more than an hour (zip line is not included in this package) Overall, I would recommend this package as it is well organised and thoroughly planned out.Written 3 May 2023

- travelinJim740 contributionsGreat Tour- Highly recommendThis tour is a must do when visiting Cebu island. They picked us up at our hotel in Cebu and made the journey to Badian. The guide on the water was fantastic and took all the pictures and video so I just had to have fun. It was really an awesome experience that I recommend and will do again. A private group sets up some food half way down the canyoneering adventure, that was some fabulous tasting food. Shout out to the driver too, he was cool. Did I mention the guise was awesome? If you're even considering a tour like this, book this one imo.Written 28 January 2023
- joywu10010 contributionsWonderful arrangementsI actually booked via Klook, and Mcrich was in charge of our 3 Day Cebu Highlights Tour. The first day was a city tour, second was swimming with whale sharks in Oslob plus Tumalog falls, third was Moalboal island hopping and Kawasan Falls canyoneering. Our driver Rodrigo was new to the job; he said he's only had five months experience, so his English wasn't too good, and we didn't have much conversation, but he was accomodating nevertheless. We wanted to skip some parts of the city tour that we weren't interested in, and stop by a 7-11 and a supermarket, and all we had to do was ask, and he did his best to meet our needs. On the second day we were fortunate enough to finish the whale shark experience very early, so we moved the Kawasan Falls canyoneering to the second day, which turned out to be the correct choice because on the third day we could sleep in a bit and return to the city sooner. Also we skipped Aguinid Falls and went to Tumalog Falls instead, per Rodrigo's suggestion. It turned out to be great. Rodrigo handled the rescheduling perfectly, and he was a safe driver. He kept our stuff safe for us, and did all the negotiating with the locals. Essentially all we had to do was show up. The guides that Mcrich are in cooperation with are all super good. Our canyoneering guide was very experienced and helpful. Our Moalboal island hopping boatmen were also very professional and took wonderful underwater pictures of us with sea turtles and the sardine run. I would book with Mcrich again.Written 2 January 2023
- Rae Y0 contributionsTerrible Viator attractionVendor stated that they can pick up at Pier one in Cebu. I purchased this tour for six people. Later, they text that the pick up is 3 hours away and we have to find our own ride there! We tried to cancel and they agreed to cancel but did not refund our money despite the fact that they posted the wrong information regarding their tour.Written 26 December 2022
- ethanhobl0 contributionsBike ride, Zipline and Canyoneering at Kawasan WaterfallsWe had a blast, raw adventure with motorbike ride, zipline and short jungle walk to the start of Kawasan waterfalls, serene nature with clear water and fish in the river you can see clearly. Michael and Daniel our private guide was awesome, careful instructions on how to hike the rivers and also spots to and how to jump from the falls, they are kind and careful, great conversation and also helped us take photos all the way.Written 21 March 2020
- erlank780 contributionsFantastic ExperienceOur guide Jerry was absolutely a pleasure, he guided us safely through the experience and even took pictures and videos for us to enjoy afterwards. Sleep deprivation is for sure worth it! The wait for the whale shark wasn't too bad and too long. People were queuing with discipline. The centre opened at 6am while we managed to get on the boat at 630am, really not bad. Whale shark watching is definitely a life experience. It was absolutely beautiful! Whale sharks were swimming in the shallow coast foraging and being fed only in the early morning, thats why the tour must be crazily early. Our boat tourists were again disciplined keeping distance to appreciate this creature. Moving on to the canyoneering, the two guides were absolutely amazing! Very caring and friendly. They tried their best to show the beauty of the landscape and guide us step by step even it's slippery and bumpy. Whole experience was fun and safe. Every jump was fun and encouraging, it was never be pushy or having any negative feeling. Guides would brief before every jump and demonstrated. With additional php60 per person, you could enjoy a zipline experience, so why not? Local captured every memories of the whole experience with additional surprise, a handmade grasshopper! Just thankful for such an unforgettable memory. Highly recommend!!!

The way the whale shark swimming is coordinated is crazy. We got there at about 5AM, and didn’t get into the swimming until about 8AM. It was still a cool experience, though! We weren't able to get pictures because we didn’t have a camera bag, so highly recommend taking one. They have sellers there, but I’m not sure how trustworthy those bags are. The guide was extremely nice. The canyoneering was a wild experience. The guide was really nice as well, and had some crazy skills in taking videos for you! We unfortunately only made it half way through the tour because my partner dislocated his shoulder, and we didn’t get to see the end. We did a private tour, and our driver was incredible. He took us to the hospital 4 hours away from where the canyoneering takes place.

Driver Eloy was on time to pick me up from my accommodation at 2am. Thank you for driving us the whole day:) We reached Oslob around 5+am where we queued up to get our queue numbers. We managed to snorkel beside the whale sharks around 7.45am. While waiting there are a few food stores where you could have breakfast. Though it was a half an hour session, it was sufficient and it was physically tiring haha. But so worth it! It was also very worth to rent the go pro because there will be a boat driver who will be attached to you at all times and help you take videos:) Go pro rental was 550 for me. Had a good lunch around noon before we headed into Badian for canyoneering. Decided to pay an additional 600 for the zipline, pretty fun and it reduces the walking in time by around half an hour. We had one tour guide each to ensure our safety and help us take photos throughout. Thank you so much Joel:D Really made sure i was safe especially for all my jumps - 2m, 5m, 7m, 10m. It's optional if you want to do the jumps so don't worry. Overall, had a very enjoyable day. Thank you Mcrich travels and team for this:)

Pick up super early, like 2am, a road rally south for three hours, like driving 75mph through small villages before they wake in an effort to get there early. Swimming with whalesharks was fun, then another long drive to canyoneering, which was an awesome three hours walking, swimming, and cliff jumping into a beautiful river, afterwards the terrible starts, you gotta get back home.... we had an absolutely terrible driver, Benji, who wouldn't talk to us, the loisy drive home is a SIX hour traffic jam and Benji spent the whole six hours on the cell phone chatting with his family or friends. He could have shared some local knowledge and had some kind of sense of humor, but nope. Inching forward in a six hour traffic jam was not just a one off, it will happen to you too, this country has poor infrastructure and basically no traffic laws. By the time we got back, 8pm, the fun was gone and it was all stress. I have traveled 91 countries and taken as many tours, and the fact that Benji couldn't advise us on our whereabouts was screwed.

Booked a private Oslob whale shark + canyoneering experience for $120/head. I was expecting to ride a van with lots of other people but I was surprised to be picked up with a private driver, Jerlan. Car was clean and comfortable, had a good sleep with the neck pillow I brought, it took 3.5 hrs from Cebu to Oslob. Driver was very accommodating and told us to tell him anytime we want to stopover for bathroom break or buy snacks. We get to Oslob area and rented a Go Pro hero 7 for $11 (it was worth it!)
The whale shark experience was surreal and pictures/videos dont do it justice. Sad it was only 30mins but was grateful for the experience! The breakfast place (not included in package) which was Sunrise 888 served breakfast meals for around $3-4/meal. It wasnt worth it for me as portions were too small for the price they charged
Next, we drove 1.5hrs to get to the canyoneering area and met with our tour guide Tam2x. We hiked for 30mins to get to the falls and he took lots of amazing pictures/videos of us. Hes such an amazing tour guide. We had a great meal at MC Rich center after consisting of rice, fried chicken, pork soup. Wish it was a little warmer but food was good!
I tipped both of them $10 each because these are nice people and not money hungry like how most Western tipped workers are. Jerlan and Tam2x were just happy to do their jobs and be as welcoming as possible
Wish it was cheaper but im very happy with all the people!

Amazing day! If you're staying in Mactan or Cebu City you need to do these 2 activities together as the drive there in back was about 7 hours in total. Doing them separately will result in a LOT more time in a van. We stayed in Mactan, and our pick up time was 2am. The whale shark part was truly magical. However, the wait time after arriving there for our slot was about 2 hours. We wish that had been more clearly communicated, so we could grab breakfast and shop for souvenirs. Instead we just sat by the van on very little sleep trying not to get annoyed. But the wait was definetly worth it. The canyoneering was so much fun. The route is gorgeous. Our guide, Merson, was an absolute joy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
For both activities there are plenty of opportunities to buy food, drinks, and souvenirs, so bring plenty of cash. I can not describe how great the whole day was, and would recommend this to everyone. 9/10!

My best bud and I had the most amazing time in Cebu when we embarked on this activity. The booking via Klook was extremely easy, and our hotel pickup details were emailed to us 2 days before the event.
We were assigned a private car and driver for the entire day, which surprised us. Our driver, Dennis, was the sweetest and nicest tito ever. He was always smiling, and never too shy engaging with us. Heck, we had hours of non-stop karaoke sessions in his car that kept us awake with energy during the long drives between locations. We were able to store our belongings safely in this car while we embarked on both the Oslohb whale shark and Badian canyoneering activity.
It is true: the whale shark activity is 3 hours driving, 3 hours waiting, and 30 minutes of actual snorkelling. On paper, that sounds too short. But in reality, every moment was an experience. The boat row out to sea felt like the calm before a storm—what was going to actually happen once we stopped? Turns out, the moment we dropped into the waters, we were barely a meter away from whale sharks of various sizes. In fact, we were even touched by some! The whale sharks were majestic, and being able to swim so up close to them was an experience of a lifetime.
After the whale shark activity, we had to take an almost 90 mins drive (with Dennis) to Badian for our Canyoneering activity. The activity started with a serious indemnity form signing, briefing, and another short drive to the start point. There, we met hundreds of other thrill seekers, and was given another briefing before choosing to take a hike to the start point, or the zip line. We picked the hike and got some of the most amazing mountain views.
The whole Canyoneering experience was nothing short of exhilarating fun!!! We will totally do it all over again. We were accompanied by the best guides ever—Jerome and his partner. They did not treat us like tourists—they treated us like their own pare (brothers) and took very good care of us, while making it fun all along the way. They guided and encouraged us to go through exciting routes, jumps, falls, and even served as our private photographers and videographers. Being experienced, they knew the best angles for all the shots.
Badian Canyoneering was 3 hours+ of non stop climbing, jumping, swimming, and hiking. It was an amazing adventure in nature.
All in all, no words can describe how enjoyable the whole day was. It was not just the activities, but also the company. We will remember the team who was with us, and hope we can visit them again.

Swimming with whale sharks was surreal - their size and grace left me in awe. The canyoneering at Kawasan Falls was pure adrenaline, with breathtaking jumps, turquoise waters, and stunning cascades at every turn. This combo is a must-do for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike!

Our driver was punctual to pick us up from our hotel to bring us to Oslob. However, the communication could be clearer when we are waiting to board the boat. We were still able to get a good view of the whale sharks and captured videos and photos for memories. Thereafter, we went to canyoneering at Kawasan Falls. We had 1-to-1 guide for each of us, which we had a great experience and the guides were helpful to take quality photos and videos of us. They have also ensured our safety throughout the whole journey. There was also no communication barrier as the guides have a good command in English. We were able to express our concerns and they are able to provide alternative arrangements. Overall, we would recommend to others for this thrilling experience.

This was a fantastic experience and well worth the money. We were collected at 03:00 and brought to the whale sharks. Our guide was aware of the process and we managed to get onto the boats within 15 minutes which was great instead of waiting around like others.
After the whale sharks we were brought canyoneering which was another amazing activity. Our guide for this was taking constant videos and photos of us which made capturing the whole journey so easy and enjoyable. There was also a lunch available of local cuisine once finished canyoneering.
We were back in our hotel around 15:30 which makes the whole experience approx 12 hours.
I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone and the professionalism of the guides was greatly appreciated
