Nice ambience. Good selection of food. A different variety ie Continental, Malay and western. Friendly and courteous staff.

Great staff, they were all very friendly. Food choices are really great and the seats are very comfortable as well. Plenty of choices for drink.

The lounge in Penang International Airport is excellent in service and superb environment while waiting for flight. Was travelling with family with 4 kids in Sept this year, the premium lounge in Penang international departure is excellent place to stretch my legs and good place for us to stretch a little before squeezing in Airasia. Premium lounge manager Ms Maria is so helpful in getting us into the lounge without any hassle while my wife and I have to take care of luaggages and my four-overexcited kids. The food variety is just good enough but the quality is exceptional good, maybe due to my hunger. Overall experience is marvelous and will come again when travel via Penang Airport.

Outstanding service from Mr. Ismail Khan. If one is fortunate enough to have the pleasure of his service it is not soon forgotten. Worth going to the Plaza Premium lounge for the experience.

The chairs & staff are nice but the food is below average as limited choices apart from lots of carbs & not a healthy choices, also the coffee & milk are not high/good standard at all for so called ‘premium’

Its not often that a lounge staff would multi-task and during these troubled times it seems to be needed because lack of staffing and also due to lack of passengers. Our time here passed very comfortable with Melvin at the check in counter, serving and checking every couple of minutes to ask if we needed anything else... this never happened at KLIA and I am very pleased that he took the extra mile to do so. Food is great although because of the COVID period the buffet has been replaced with an order method. Even so, the Hainanese Chicken Rice is still the signature menu for the Penang Lounge. Probably the only irk is the missing pastries that i miss so much at the Plaza Premium Lounge. Maybe they’ll come back soon!

Place is simple but at least they have ample chairs to catch 40 winks. The staff are quite friendly, especially from one Fabian Watson. Should have more shower facilities though. Overall, facilities should be improved for Visit Malaysia Year 2020.

Currently sitting in the Penang Plaza Premium lounge and it’s terrible. The food on offer is the salad bar (a few scraps of lettuce and chopped up cabbage), dry sponge cake or white toast. No hot food, definitely no local food, not really anything edible at all. Don’t waste your time here... better off having McDonald’s before customs.

Not sure what the hype is about. Was a pretty average longue when I visited. Had some really average chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce and rice. Definitely no great "local food" described by some of the other reviews. Just a place to rest if necessary.

Always visit this place before heading back to my hometown. Good at maintaining their services especially. Good ambience.

Excellent breakfast served and good service from crew. Met a polite and friendly crew named Fabian Watson which can speak Hokkien. 😏
