You can clearly see that there has been a major change in this country leadership. The new people in charge are recognizing the power of the tourist dollar and the influence it has on this beautiful country and its citizens. You can clearly see the improvement of infrastructure in this little town and we have been visiting frequently over the past 7 years. Hoi An is booming and quality of hotels, transportation and restaurants has made a huge impact on this town. I’m so happy to see that the people of Vietnam are going well since they work very hard. The ancient town had gotten even more vibrant and beautiful. Not only during the day but even in the evening the streets are filled with tourists wanting to explore this amazing place. I really enjoy the addition of all the food carts in old town offering traditional food options and cocktails at very reasonable prices. The shops are open late to accommodate the tourists after they enjoyed their fabulous dinner… I love Hoi An…

A great day and an amazing experience. The drive to Hue was breathtaking and the sites visited a wealth of visual delights.

This trip was just amazing. Our guide and driver were fantastic and not only did we get a great history lesson but saw so many amazing sites all in one day. It wasn’t a rushed experience and we had time to take it all in. Highly recommend this tour for anyone with a family and teenagers.

A great day trip to Hue, visiting 3 sites of the ancient city. Lunch was nice. Tom, our tour guide was quite knowledgeable as a local from Hue. Something I haven't seen mentioned in previous reviews. The road to Hue is over some mountain passes. If prone to motion sickness, take an anti-nauseant pill. If you have children with you, take a sick bag (a little girl got sick on our tour but her parents were very prepared!). The weather was rainy, and some surfaces were tile, which can be quite slippery. Take your time navigating safely. We were given water at the end of the tour, it would have been nice to have been given that at the start. Recommended for those wanting more information about Vietnam history.

Even though the tour seems long and takes a lot if you come from Hoi An, it was worth to see and experience how the imperial city looked like

I loved this tour, mainly because I am interested in nature, active conservation of important sites, and religious history. There’s a lot of walking involved, so be prepared for this. (I’m a young 70 and “just” coped.) Our guide, Tin Tin, was extremely supportive of me in this regard. The tour includes a full lunch at the restaurant of a local family. Just delicious - and plentiful! Highly recommended for people who are keen to learn about preservation of relics. The detail in some of these relics provides fertile ground for photographers interested in macro shots. Thank you Tim Tin. Your are a genuinely lovely person.

Everything was really great and well organized! We really got to know more about the hoi an’s history and experience local food

If you are two or more people you are probably better off hiring a car and/or guide for the day. Due to bad weather we couldn't see the pass on the trip which is obviously not their fault but you are then dumped for 30mins in a perl sales showroom under the pretense of a 'toilet break'. The weather by the end of the day was fine so it would have been nice to do the pass then instead. The lunch was fine but nothing special. The guide was pleasant but to be honest her English speaking accent was quite hard to understand. This being my first tour I thought this was just a 'standard' accent but I could listen into other local guides who were much clearer. My opinion, having spent some time now in Vietnam, is that the price of the tour should be about half what they are charging. Others may disagree.

Kim was very knowledgeable! She really knows her history and did a great job simplifying information to make it bite sized and memorable! She’s so friendly and flexible and allows for time to stop at shops along the way. We ended the tour tasting lots of local foods all which were great!

Great one day tour in Hue, visiting the Forbidden City, and the Tomb of the Emperor. Engaging guide, once you tuned into his accent, whose knowledge was impressive. He painted a word picture of times past in the Forbidden City. Waited on by eunuchs, serviced by 1000 concubines. Great job if you can get it.The mosaic Palace was mind blowing and the Emperor’s tomb sublime. Loved it.

We did the evening tour which we were asked to start 30 minutes earlier than we had booked, which wasn’t a problem as we requested to eat at the end of the tour. We did see some things that we wouldn’t have found on our own but unfortunately our guides English was difficult to understand at times and she was quietly spoken. The meal at a local restaurant was good and we tried some different foods. The food had been preordered. It would have been better if the guide had stayed with us whilst we ate to explain what it was and how to prepare and eat some of the dishes. For us the tour was a little disappointing as the previous tour we did in Vietnam was outstanding.

Great trip. Very well organized. The imperial city and the tomb are impressive and definitely worth visiting. A stop on the coastal road is a nice addition to the itinerary - we were fortunate enough that the weather was good. The tour guide was very kind and he explained everything very clearly and particularly. Overall I highly recommend this tour.

Very good experience. The tour guide was very friendly and explained us the history of Hue. Unfortunately, due to bad weather we didn't see the Hai Van Pass, however everything else was very good. Highly recommended tour.

The tour was amazing, we could visit every spot on time and avoided crowds despite the popularity of the places visited. I highly recommend this tour due to its tour operator has an immaculate customer service. Thank you Kim for organizing everything.

It was all good, places that we visited made sense, guide did his best to explain the sites. The thing that I didn't really like was the food that was pretty basic, they could have done more there, even if the tour would cost 5 eur more it would make the whole trip much better.
