        Uganda and Rwanda 10 days
We travelled with Ngoni Safari for 10 days in Uganda and Rwanda. Eddy took us through Uganda with exceptional professionalism and showed us the beauty of the country, through its marvellous landscapes and rich wildlife. We met so many nice and kind people. Eddy is so knowledgeable and professional and you can tell he loves his job. In Bwindi we met Smith, another guide working for Ngoni. He was as professional as Eddy and probably the most joyous guy I've ever met, always smiling and always happy. He took us over the border to Rwanda and to Kigali. He showed us around in the city, explaining and accommodated all of our needs. On the same day we decided to book a gorilla trekking the very next day at the Volcano NP in the north. He picked us up at 3.30 am and drove us back and forth with utmost excitement. Smith is just a marvel be around with. Both our guides, Eddy and Smith are the real deal.

        Once in a lifetime experience!
It was absolutely amazing to be able to experience the gorillas in their natural environment. Our guide Smith was very knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. We ended up having flight issues and Ngoni Safari was able to accommodate and make things work despite a challenging schedule. Would absolutely recommend as it’s a once in a life time experience!

5 star tour with Ngoni Safari Tours
I and 2 friends had the pleasure of just completing a 9 day tour and safari in Uganda with Ngoni Safari Tours. From the very beginning we found Sedrick the owner to be most responsive and flexible in arranging an itinerary that suited all of us and at a price that was very agreeable. Our guide Eddy was the epitome of the perfect guide, extremely knowledgeable about the history of Uganda, and facts about wildlife. His amazing tracking abilities had us seeing the big 5 animals in Murchison NP and Queen Elizabeth NP. He was kind and courteous and became more of a friend by the end of our tour. Would highly recommend booking a trip with Ngoni Safaris.

        Uganda, thank you!
Ngoni chose wonderful lodges for our friend group of three and we were able to customize our itinerary to give us two days at each location so we didn’t feel rushed. We had the 9-day tour of Murchison Falls and the savanna, Kibale National Park to see the chimpanzees, Queen Elizabeth National Park for a morning and evening game drive (saw leopards and lions), and finally, Bwindi where we hiked to see the gorillas. Amazing trip and we felt well taken care of and our guide, Eddy, was considerate and knowledgeable and we felt fortunate to have him.

        Incredible Rwanda Safari!!!
Rwanda Safari Experience of a lifetime! Smith our tour guide was amazing. Such a friendly, caring and knowledgeable person. He picked us promptly from the airport and took us to the da vinci gorilla lodge. We visited the fosey museum, cultural village and hiked with a group of 20 mountain gorillas. I have been on an uganda safari with another company 2 years ago but the safari with Smith from ngoni safaris was fantastic. We will forever remember Smith and this excellent expedition.

        Excellent Uganda safari experience
My wife and I loved this amazing experience. Our guide, David Gaudi made sure we saw everything and were comfortable throughout the experience. We saw so many animals during our time (leopards, lions, elephants, hippos, rhinos, zebras, and birds of all kinds). The resort was great and located inside the national park. We also did a boat tour of the Nile and visited a Rhino preserve. I would strongly recommend the tour and David Gaudi as a guide.

Monumental Trip - Exceeded All Expectations!
My sister and I had the time of our lives! We had great expectations for this trip, but you never know what reality awaits when you set foot in a foreign country and a new culture. The trip exceeded our expectations! Our guide - Eddy the Elephant Son - was gracious, kind, and well-versed on Ugandan history, wildlife, and culture. He was easy to be around, but also allowed us plenty of alone/down time. Just when we thought we saw the most magnificent wildlife or sunrise or vista, the next day would be even more spectacular. We spent an hour in the jungle with a family of mountain gorillas, including a silverback and a 3-month old baby. We were inches from the gorillas and chimps. We saw countless giraffes and elephants on the savannahs. We rafted the Nile, which was exhilarating beyond belief! Generally, Ugandans were hospitable and kind. It was a real treat to tour some of the communities and visit with local artisans, a coffee maker and a medicine man. The food was outstanding and almost every lodge accommodated my gluten allergy. I highly recommend ALL the pumpkin soup. We both recommend Ngoni and Uganda. What a gorgeous country!

        Top travel agent in Uganda
A year and a half ago, I planned a month-long trip with my wife to three African countries, including Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. After searching for travel information on the Internet and contacting many travel agencies, I finally chose to take a ten-day trip to Ngoni Safari Uganda after comparing the itinerary, price and reputation. The itinerary includes Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls National, etc. Sedrick, the person in charge of Ngoni Safari, responded promptly and gave me a lot of useful accommodation information and itinerary suggestions. They also confirmed the information with me many times before the trip so that I was fully prepared! Although my flight was delayed due to visa issues when I entered Uganda, Sedrick and tour guide Eddy contacted me immediately and provided assistance, including changing itinerary, accommodation, etc. So that our trip will not be delayed. I deeply appreciate Ngoni Safari's adaptability and handling, and provided us with high-quality vehicles and accommodation at an affordable price. Eddy is a punctual, helpful, polite tour guide and driver with professional knowledge of all wildlife! His driving skills are top notch, fast, safe and comfortable! He speaks multiple languages including English, Russian, Spanish, French and various tribal dialects. He has a deep understanding of the history, national conditions and people of Uganda, and is often willing to share interesting things he knows with you! During the trip, he often took the initiative to assist us in shooting, and we always enjoyed the interaction with Eddy during the trip. He was very thorough and explained everything clearly to us. Due to the unforeseen changes in Gorilla Tracking's itinerary, he had to drive for up to 10 hours to send us back to the hotel in Entebbe before the end of the trip. Eddy made proper arrangements for us. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Eddy for this😘😘😘😘 Although there were some setbacks and unsatisfactory things during our ten-day journey in Uganda, with the assistance and companionship of Sedrick and Eddy, we completed a wonderful and unforgettable travel experience, which made me feel the friendliness and enthusiasm of the Ugandan people. Thank you again Ngoni Sedrick from Safari and tour guide Eddy. If you want to travel to Uganda, Ngoni Safari is your trustworthy professional travel company! Eddy can give you a different travel experience!

        Great Kenya experience!
Seven of us went on an eleven-day safari trip to Kenya-Tanzania. Our local guide in Kenya was attentive and highly enthusiastic both in terms of searching for wildlife and in interacting with us. We had an impressionable and thrilled experience for the 6-day Kenya safari. We could not enjoy Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania due to persistent flooding of the lake. The 2-3 hours morning could consider alternative instead.

I absolutely recommend this company. Best value for money and great knowledge.
With Ngoni Safaris we had a 10/10 experience. We booked directly with them about 6 months before the trip. They were helpful with tailoring the trip to match our wishes and budget exactly and provided honest information, which was harder to find among other companies. We did a 8-days trip, covering Ziwa rhinos, Murchison, Queen Elizabeth, Kibale, Bwindi and Lake Bunyoni. So they only do private tours and only use their own Land Cruisers, which are in good shape (I think they have a fleet of around 10 vehicles). Our guide was Reagan and he was wonderful the whole time, trying to make us feel as comfortable as possible. He had amazing local knowledge of all the parks (having spent lot's of time there in guiding courses), so he would always know local guards and staff - which provided to be crucial in getting info about best spots for seeing animals. We saw everything possible, even the very elusive leopard in some of the most remote areas of the park with very hard roads to tackle. In Murchison we saw like 8 lions, in Queen Elizabeth 4 of them (they were mating, hunting and also climbing trees), not to mention all in all many giraffes, antelopes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles and other stuff. Reagan really knew evwry single place of where you could be expecting them and usually we were even the first one to spot them among other vehicles. So really, local knowledge came as a victory. Other activities were amazing - we saw chimps and gorillas, which were both absolutely crazy and unforgettable experiences. There's practically a 100% chance you will see them when you go for tracking - they always make you find them as they have trackers following them from early morning, so they always know where they are. Lodges - I have to pause here - they were superb. Everywhere we were in luxury lodges - also after talking with different guides from different companies, it seemed that they were the very best options in the areas for a variety of reasons. Simply amazing, next level. What's interesting here - Ngoni offered this trip (being a luxury private experience with luxury lodges) for the virtually same price as some other companies would for a group budget tour, with a safari van and camping. So I was even a bit suspicious about it, but everything was just perfect. It's fair to mention that we did have some minor issues with the car, but Reagan sorted them out with local mechanics in a time that didn't really affect our activities, so it was pretty impressive overall, the support network they seem to have all around the country. Another thing necessary to mention that wasn't great was communication from mr. Sedrick - sometimes I wasn't really sure where we were standing. But as I've read in previous reviews that he was like that, it somehow eased me a bit and in the end everything was fine. So all in all - Ngoni is a great company with great guides and reputation and is most def a great value for money and I absolutely recommend them for your African experience.

5 days of uganda apes and all
From start to finish I felt very professionally dealt with. I of course felt a little apprehensive being on my own but my tour guide David made me feel very at ease from the start. He was conscious of time keeping and making sure that we arrived to each destination as quickly as possible even with the very hard roads. Any questions asked he replied. My trip was more tailor made and was so alot of driving within 5 days but I felt safe the whole time. The lodges I stayed in were very beautiful and the activities done where bucket list worthy. Thank you David for looking after me.

Very customer oriented team, excellent experience!
I found Ngoni Safaris Uganda on safaribookings.com, my first such booking outside of the well know safari outfits like Wilderness, Mfwe, etc. I was a bit apprehensive, but my fears were unfounded and it cost a fraction of what the big outfits charge. Starting with the owner, Sedrick, everyone is very customer oriented and work tirelessly. We were impressed with the fact that Sedrick bothered to meet us at our hotel at 5:30AM even though an assigned driver-cum-guide was going to pick us up. We had an amazing driver-guide, Darius for the 4 days, 3 night trip. Besides going for the Gorilla trek in Bwindi, we wanted to do a bit of birding and had requested for a guide who understands birding. And Darius knew birding quite well. He even hired a local guide in Bwindi to bird walking thru the community around Bwindi. Darius was a very good driver, driving the 9.5 hrs from Entebbe to Bwindi and back. We enjoyed the conversations we had over the 4 days and we wish him the best. He introduced us to some local food which were excellent! Sedrick selected this amazing small lodge in Bwindi, which we found to have one of the best staffing and service in our experience. On the way back, we stopped for a night in Lake Mburo to do some birding. We had good sighting early morning around the lake next morning. On a very short notice, Sedrick organized a trip to the Magamba swamp in Lake Victoria to see the Shoebill bird as well as some other birds. It involved picking us from the hotel, drive 20 minutes to the harbor, board a private fishing boat with an outboard motor, travel 45 minutes to the swamp, transfer to a narrow boat that can navigate the narrow channels of the swamp with Wilson, the birding guide, who had arrived earlier to locate the Shoebill's location. We had a wonderful time photographing the bird and other birds as well. It was another wonderful birding trip! There was a small problem with the air conditioning in our safari vehicle, which Darius took pains to get it fixed in between. Most of the time, we didn't need AC, but there was a time on the way back, when it was warming up. I highly recommend any outfit where Sedrick is.

The tour included a cross section of activities and a lot of travelling and we were successful in seeing all of the animals we wanted to see. However I do not think this would have been possible without Sedrick's extensive knowledge of the areas and the national parks specifically. Sedrick had a story to tell about the parks themselves, the animals, the local area, the history and culture.

We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our trip and would be more than happy to recommend both the company and Sedrick personally.

      The tour was exceptional.
We started our trip in Kabale to reach the impenetrable forest. Katto our guide was very knowledgeable, we had so many questions and he could answered them brilliantly (in a developed way).
For the gorilla tracking, it was impeccable, we had a 2 hours trek before seeing a family of 10 gorillas. Every thing was great.
I really appreciated the company of Katto.

I did 3 day gorilla trekking experience. James was my guide, and I had such an amazing time with him. I am also a female solo traveller and felt comfortable 100% of the time. Our stay, food, 9 hour car rides, gorilla trekking experience was all worth a 5 star rating. I have no complaints. Sedrick is great with communication. I will book again for 2023. Thank you Ngoni!

Bwindi is simply amazing. This place is having some easier treks and there are some more difficult ones. It’s always hard to understand what you will end up with but their highly knowledge and welcoming guides with us and trackers will find the wildlife you are looking for. You have to be prepared for very dense, thorny forest. My best friend went to Bwindi last year and found the gorillas within 1.5 hours without having to bushwhack through this thick-dense forest. But my experience was totally different I got that chance with Over 6h of trekking. Thick, dense, thorny jungle - but ultimately so worth it. I was very happy to be there, I had elected to get a porter to “support the communities and gorillas”... turns out it was much more helpful to me than I had anticipated. I would definitely return here without a doubt….!!

Amazing experience. Sedrick went above and beyond to help us with our needs as we lost our connection flight (coming from the US). The tour itself was fantastic. The accommodations and driver (Chris) were excellent. Sedrick was so useful that he even helped us recovered our bags as they were missing with the change of flight. I fully recommend Ngoni Safari Uganda. We felt safe all the time and the payment was super easy.

Katto has been the best guide to explore Uganda! We booked with him our gorilla safari, he picked us up from Bunyonyi and drove us all the way to the gorillas . 🦍

He has an impressive knowledge on every topic in Uganda and even neighbouring countries. He made us a very rich briefing on the countries geography and culture and was always there to answer our questions and to give us some interesting facts. 🌎Also he is a very kind and sunny person, with him only good vibes. We also had the pleasure to meet his son who was very kind and we could exchange some views on lifestyle and music. We thank your company for warmly introducing us to Uganda 🙏

Seeing gorillas in nature is one of the most amazing things I've done in my life. And Ngoni Safari made this adventure a very good one! Our driver, Arthur, was very polite and responsible. Even though it was a very long trip from Kampala, he did the best of it. We stopped for pictures, to stretch our legs, to buy local fruit (jackfruit and avocados), even to the ATM! Then, when we arrived in the accommodation the night before seeing the gorillas, we were actually impressed by the beauty of the place, the calm (perfection) of our lodge and delighted with the delicious food. We also had a beer and the chance to meet some locals! Ngoni: highly recommended! I wont' change a thing!

I travelled to Uganda for business and took the opportunity to include a gorilla tracking experience. After considering the recommendations, I chose Ngoni Safaris. They were fantastic! When I requested an additional day, they accommodated an extra day at QE National Park. I was lucky to have James as my driver and guide for four days. The activities and accommodations they selected were perfect for me.

I had an amazing time doing the 3-day gorilla trek! It was truly one of the most incredible experiences! I was picked up Friday and transported to Bwindi Forest, spent Saturday trekking in the forest and visiting the nearby community, and then was transported back to Entebbe on Sunday. The gorilla trekking was incredible (I saw TWO gorilla families), and I really enjoyed the community walk, as well, where I learned about the Batwa people. The lodge was also lovely and had great food. My guide David was excellent! I was a solo traveler and he really helped to make the experience as great as possible. I highly recommend this tour!!!

It was truly a breathtaking experience. I mean, just wonderful. To be one with nature like that, leaving the day to day hassles of the big city and just basking in the splendour of nature. The gorillas were a beautiful sight to behold.
