I booked with Safari 2 Gorillas very last minute to do the gorilla hike in Mgahinga NP on Christmas Day. Aron was really prompt with all the communication, and I’m so glad I paid extra with him (vs just booking the permit myself) because he was so helpful in solving some problems I had (like my visa not being approved quickly and also making me lunch when everything was closed on Christmas Day). My guide was also super friendly and easy to chat with. Everything they communicated would happen on the day went ahead exactly the plan! We saw the beautiful gorillas and there were two sets of couples in my group who had also done the gorilla trek in bwindi, and both said they thought Mgahinga was better for its openness! For anyone else booking, the one point I did get a little nervous about was making the wise payment in advance because you never know where the scams are! But this is a 100% legitimate thing so don’t worry!!

I had a wonderful time with Safari 2 Gorillas. Organizing the tour was quick and easy, with Aron offering quick and helpful communication. My guide, Danny, was friendly and easy to get along with. During our drives around Uganda, he provided insight into the scenes we passed and life in East Africa. The wildlife was incredible as well. The gorillas, of course, were the highlight of my trip, but I also got to see a wide variety of other animals, including elephants, lions, hippos, giraffes, and many more!! I felt safe the entire time and never felt like I had to worry about anything other than showing up to breakfast on time in the morning. Thank you for a fantastic journey and so many wonderful memories!

Horrible experience for the prize. Had to report it to the police to come up with a reasonable solution. Keep in mind what you book will be change and u will only see one gorilla tracking

I just finished a 7 day trip with Safari 2 Gorilla- including gorillas, chimpanzees, Akagera game drive and Mt Bisoke hike. I saw elephants, rhinos, lions, hippos and more at Akagera. Nyungwe NP had chimpanzees. Martin was a great guide for my trip. The car was comfortable and I always felt safe with his driving, although there are a lot of hours in the car and very mountainous windy roads. Martin was very friendly and accommodating, and was happy to take me to different places and accommodate any requests I had. The whole week was full of great memories.

I did the 8 day lowland gorilla trekking tour with chimpanzees and golden monkeys. Great experience! Julius was my driver/guide throughout the entire trip and me took excellent care. He was always on time, thoroughly explained everything and navigated the entire trip well. We crossed the border to DRC for lowland gorilla trekking and that went smoothly. Julius also has great gear and lent me his gaiters for all the trekking. Great option for a solo traveler!

We came across Safaribookings as we were interested in a lowland gorilla hike in the D.R.C. and chanced upon Safari 2 Gorillas Tours. Aron was our guide for our 3d2n trek and he was very friendly and knowledgeable - sharing with us the culture in D.R.C. and in Rwanda. We were very well taken care of and he made sure that we were safe throughout our journey. We will definitely recommend our friends and families to join their reasonably priced tour.

Wonderful ! Despite the fact that we were really late asking for a 5days safari, Aaron was very quick replying and organising everything. The communication was great and we ended up with exactly what we wished for ! Our guide Julius was incredible. Always on time and very attentive to our needs. He does everything with his heart and really try to give the best experience to his clients. We had fun and he has lots of stories to tell. We were really lucky during the safaris and saw plenty. We really had a blast ! Thank you again!

Aron took very good care of us! We always arrived on time and the tours (Gorilla trecking in Bwindi, mountain gorillas in Rwanda) were great. We even book a volcanoe trecking tour in addition! All in all a very good experience! I can definitely recommed booking with Aron and his company!

Martin as our guide and driver was absolutely amazing, he arranged everything and he was open to any questions by what we learnt so much about your country. Gorilla trek guide was very nice, explaned everything, answered our questions. He was also very experienced with gorilla treking, so we found gorillas after one hour and half. Experience was amazing, guides made us feel safe and we have amazing memories.

Asked for a last minute safari one my way. I chose the good one tour operator ! A wonderful day in Mgahinga National Park with gorillas, in this so magical area of Uganda.

Aron was very attentive and helpful in planning the trip. He helped me clarify many things and without him I probably would not have done gorilla trekking. He helped me answer all questions I had and made sure I was properly prepared. I am so happy I did it. It was an experience of a lifetime! We were so close to the gorillas 🦍 truly something special. Would definitely recommend Aron if you want to do gorilla trekking or other fun activities around lake bunyonyi.

Julius was our guide for our gorilla tracking trip and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! He was extremely helpful, informative and fun to be around. He always made sure we were prepared (with hiking supplies that he provided for us and water) and ensured that my parents (who are in their mid-50s) had the support that they needed on our hikes. Julius has a plethora of knowledge on the area that we were in (Volcanoes National Park), and he was always eager to pass this knowledge on to us. This was the trip of a life time and we couldn’t have done it without him.

One of the best experiences I had in Uganda so far. My guide answered all my questions about the culture, traditions, habits of the animals and gave me a very good impression of the country and the people living there. I had a great time seeing the gorillas and chimpanzees and was impressed by the strict and respectful way the animals were treated there. I highly recommend this tour. (I did the 5 day tour)

I travelled to Rwanda with a friend of mine and had the best experience of my life doing the gorilla trekking. Our drivers Julius and Barnabas were incredibly helpful and informative. We got assigned the biggest gorilla family for our trek and were blown away by how amazing the experience was. Contact was always easy and prompt with Aron who was an enormous help in the months leading up to the trek.
